It's fast and intuitive and I am able to see at a glance and report on all of my team's​ assignments and accurately schedule all their time.

Nachteile

Reporting aspect. Stock reports are good, but would like to be able to drag them into a platform like PowerBI. Potentially via scheduled export to CSV or similar. Would also like some more customisation​ such as more leave types and an option to backup and restore information. Finally, audit tracking - who made what change.

Vorteile

Ease of use, simplistic interface, clear directions, offers straight forward visibility.

Nachteile

Time consuming to set up the Individuals daily hours. Not possible to alter resources image once they’ve logged onto their schedule. Not possible to link to the project management tool in order to set a budget, assign tasks to a budget to pull down time into the schedule - which can then be a time sheet.

Ease of use - loved the beta version and very happy that is now the standard. Easy to update multiple days on the fly and saves as you go.

Great feature of saving teams/groups so I can see a quick look without having to multi click.

Nachteile

Only thing I can say is I wish there was a better way to export reports from the software, possibly export into excel where I can print out the relevant information.

This program is very easy to use by every level of the department personnel. It also acts as a daily reminder of what your work plan for the day with the daily email.

There are a lot of features we do not need at this time.

Colour coding for different projects, profile pics to remind me of who is who, and I like that every day it shifts along the schedule so that today is to the far left.

Need more colours as we have many projects, also icons or stickers would be helpful. If we could upload a project logo that would be ideal.

Employees can be displayed in teams which ensures a good overview. The individual working hours can be submitted and every employees holidays can be displayed. If a workload doesn't match the working hours, additionally assigned jobs will be queued to a waiting list.

I did have (minor) problems with the loading times in the past.

I really love that it'll remind me what my schedule is like the night before I sleep. I feel at ease before I go to bed :) thank you!

I am not toop sure if there is such a feature already. However, it'll be best if I can match my personal calendars on match on Resourece Guru as well. I am an influencer and a writer. Therefore my hectic schedules may clash in and outside of work.

integration process was easy and it is utilized more than any other platform we have in use for our business. it makes project reporting so fast and thorough.

It's very easy and intuitive to use. Although they don't do much the Project Code and Skill was something that the closest competitor did not offer and made resource guru more desirable

The closest competitor had 2 features that I would like to have seen, to be able to have the project marked as tentative. And to add a budget to the project - Other competitors had the budget and you could define a price per resource - however, for me a bucket of hours per project would be enough

It allows my team to update resource use on their own schedule, and eliminates hours of my time in schedule and team management. I also love that I can archive resources when they are temporarily inactive, therefore saving money.

What I would like to see in the future:
1. Ability to get daily "Meeting Room" email or report of usage. (Ability to set the time that this occurs would also be helpful)
2. For events that an administrator assigns to a booker, it would be great if the booker could also edit the event.
3. Allow for same-day event schedule changes to notify the resource.

This Resource Guru platform has an intuitive design which makes it easy to use from both the administration end right through to the user. We have found it easy to implement across our external subcontractor workforce.

- It's unfortunate that this tool doesn't link up with our PM tool, Asana
- There's no 'undo' button if you accidentally click and drag a booking unknowingly

This software is easy to learn and use. We can see the availability of resources at a glance, and it's simple to make any edits to current entries as needed. The option to add personal photos for resources is fun to use and adds a bit of personalization to each resource.

Nachteile

When choosing a date to enter information, we need to scroll over the calendar instead of clicking, because clicking on dates will automatically trigger a window for entering new information.

The software is an easy to use format with searchable features and the ability to track personal from their actual hours work to the forecast showing future demand. The ability to allow resources to book against multiple codes and be organised in multiple teams means that reporting from the tool provides vital details for our KPI's and metrics, helping drive improvements and efficiencies within our organisation

There is a limited pipeline of change and growth of the software, which does not allow development in areas that would be useful to our company.

I love the way it looks and how easy it is to navigate.

I would like to be able to copy and paste a job across multiple users. Or have a tick box field that puts it into the diaries who will also attend that same meeting.

I would like to be able to write all the information about the 'Event' in the projects tabs and for that to carry across to the timeline.

On occasion, it becomes difficult to determine where work is on site or off, or whether a planned consulting visit is a firm date, or a flexible date. This could be down to how we are using it, though.

Great tool to track who's who and where in the office. Sends out daily emails to let everyone know who is working in and out of the office on any given day.

Nothing to complain, it's a great tool to know who is available to work with at the office when needed.

The product is very easy to use, intuitive, and fast. We love the ability to zoom in and out and have different views of our timeline.

What I (currently) miss most is the ability to quickly update the schedule. For example, to select multiple "tasks" for one employee and move them 1 or more days forward, in other words, to shift or postpone someone's entire schedule. We change schedules quite frequently so it would be easier for us to have this enabled. But I've heard that this would be possible down the road.

Its so simple and easy to use. Easy to setup projects, easy to setup users, easy to input time and capacity of resources. At the end you get a graphic overview of tasks and resources that can be filtered based on resource, project or client.

I originally chose Resource Guru after extensive research of capacity planning tools. Many tools were geared more to project management or managing shift/work patterns. Resource Guru gives me what I need, I can plot and allocate time for BAU/project and ad-hoc work for my team and quickly and easily see where there is capacity.

Nachteile

Originally there was no ability to schedule an event to more than one team member. This has now been implemented and is a really useful tool.

very easy to use and the calander view is great give me a sense of what is going on 2, 3, 4 weeks out.

would like to have a feature that allows the employee to be able to mark a task or a project complete, which would than send a notification back to me or the PM that they are available to do additional works.

The ability to view resources and their skill set enabled us to forward plan projects for the coming years and align them to our medium term roadmap.

Nachteile

When selecting multiple resources and assigning them to a project they are all linked. You cannot reduce the commitment of one resource without updating them all.

The visibility of upcoming work and appointments is helpful for quoting future jobs.

I would like a resource classification for Machinery. It would help with production scheduling.
