Vorteile

1. The ease with which one can create an event for the webinar and make them live in less than an hour.
2. Email Notification - Customized notification and make them scheduled Jobs to reach the customers.
3. Landing Page and Optin - Very useful and quite easy to build and customize to a great extent.
4. Reporting and Dashboard - Very intuitive insightful reporting to know your participant's action.

Nachteile

1. Not Integrated with Payment gateway! I love to see this feature with seamless flow through opt-in page to the payment gateway to collect the payment!

Nachteile

The pricing is a bit on the higher side compared to it's main competition, but again the ease of using a chrome browser instead of a mobile app makes it easier for webinar attendees.

The ease of use. Every new user i show this to, or invite to work with demio can host awebinar or presentation within minutes. Since the lockdown prevented us from hosting events internally and for events to get to know our customers we have used demio as a digital alternative.
Im certain we will keep using it even after the pandemic.

Nachteile

More flexibility and interaction with the public.
Would like to create a longer event and schedule it on the calender instead of the standard 1hr block thats is available now.

Ease of use and ease to set up. The fact that we could record our session automatically was a big plus.

Ease of use of the system. Very basic and simple features in basic plan.

Nachteile

Many key features are missing. There is some issue with the code. Two main problems were that the presentation's complete formatting used to get corrupted after loading it on Demio. Never happened with Zoom. Plus screenshare was not at all upto the level of what is offered in Zoom.

Demio is by far the easiest webinar platform I have used, both as a host and an attendee. Scheduling my events was very easy, and I really liked the smooth integration of the sign-up form into my Kajabi sales page. I also love how easy it is to setup everything before hand, including my slide deck and featured action. But the best part is how easy it is for attendees to use. They just click the button and they are in, no plugins, no software downloads, no hassles.

Nachteile

I'd like to be able to have more than 6 people 'on stage' at the same time so that I could use it for larger group coaching calls. But that's outside of my primary use of it for webinars.

The ease of use is amazing. Very intuitive and simple. Customer service is lovely. I love the design of the platform. And most important for me was to have everything in one place meaning having the live & evergreen options in 1 platform. Another great feature and my favorite is the ability to jump in live in an evergreen webinar. The ability to promote your products, add survey questions is another great feature.

Nachteile

1. I just wish there is plan for 100 attendees. That would be a great option.
2. It would also be nice to have a larger video option should you decide to be on video- perhaps on the left side with the ability to have it either as a square or circle.

Demio is very easy to use. It does a great job of recording sessions and it is easy to download to Vimeo so that we can host it on our MemberMouse site.

Nachteile

I don't like that Webinar platforms like Demio don't have better functionality with regard to audience participation. I would like for my audience to be able to use their microphone to ask questions and make comments. This functionality doesn't exist on Demio or other Webinar platforms.

To get attendees to talk with each other and with the presenter you have to invite them to the stage and they have to accept. This gets a bit complicated at times.

I'd prefer going back to having a mute and unmute function to be able to talk attendees during the Webinar.

It's in the little details like better and intuitive chat possibilities within Demio (at WebinarGeek everytime someone asks a new question, all their questions get removed to the end of the que for instance). That, and design of Demio is more beautiful for the attendee

- Can setup automated recurring webinars
- Can setup triggers to follow up with people who didn’t show up, who left early, watched the entire webinar, etc.

Nachteile

Can’t think of anything at the moment. I’ve been using it for a year and haven’t run into any issues.

Their customer service is hands down the best I've ever received. Not only is their software beautifully designed, but it integrates seamlessly with all the softwares used to run my online business. I was originally looking for a software that would be affordable and allow me to run beautiful webinar livestreams, and Demio hands down did it better than anyone and everybody else.

There's honestly not one part of this software that didn't exceed my expectations.

I am a new user and we had a bit of an error in our time zone. When I went to use tech support my expectations were low - as if you have ever conversed with tech support chat boxes its a bit like slamming your face into a wall. BUT Meritas was amazing. She clearly understood what I was asking and able to easily fix it for me. It was so painless and efficient. This alone would lead me to recommend this software.

Id love to have a registration page for webinar attendees that I manage in dashboard VS the link only
Id also love to be able to run the schedule more flexibly - ie set it for monday, wed, friday without having to create individual events for each day

The usability is so wonderful! Anybody and their grandma could use the backend of the platform. So easy. The best part about Demio isn't the platform though: It's the team. They're so nimble, responsive and agile. Features requests that I've made have actually become features. And they show me how they're progressing with their software builds. Great work!

Nachteile

It seems that the bandwidth (whether that's on our end or Demio's) can't handle large audiences above 100. We've had great experiences under 100 but begin to have complaints when we eclipse 100.

This software was built with marketing in mind. It is simple to use, customize and brand. I have trained in-person for 20 years and when the pandemic hit I did extensive research for on-line seminar platforms. After witnessing the mess of Zoom meetings first hand with my daughter's school, I was determined to do better for our clients. I found Demio. I have conducted over 15 webinars with this software and each time, I was asked about Demio as people raved about the "no download" ease of use!

From registration, room set up and follow-up, Demio has me looking like a ROCK STAR ( and I have NEVER done webinars until now)

1) It takes too long to upload presentation material, especially video.
2) There does not seem to a method to create a library of the presentation materials so that I can upload once and share them across multiple webinars.
3) It would be better if on-demand webinars could be enabled so that, optionally, approval by the host is needed before the attendee can view it.
4)The pricing is a bit steep. I wish the pricing model based on the number of attendees and/or the number of webinars. It would make it easier for beginners like us to adapt and grow with it.

I had the most amazing experience ever. My webinars were easy to create, well-designed, and looked very professional. I appreciated the possibility to select the questions that popped up during the webinar and automatically move them into a specific area, so that I could easily find them at any time. Actually, my assistant did this work for me and we could chat together, and I could see her comments in a private area. Very useful to check if everything is working well without answering to my audience or checking my phone to get an answer...
The customer service is the best I have ever known! They helped me figuring out how to upload my slides, answered ALL my questions in a very short time, and were really kind. I absolutely love Demio and the staff working for them! 100% worth my investment.

An aspect that was really intriguing about this software was the lack of attendees having to download anything to get on the webinar. So many platforms require downloads, logins, and other things that can make people just give up. With Demio, they just click and are able to get in quickly via their browser. The customizable registration and reminder system are really helpful to increase the attendee percentages and I love being able to get analytics across all aspects of an event. A feature of this product that had an unexpected impact on revenue generation was the ability to send a replay link out to all attendees. I had folks that didn't even attend the webinar watch the shared replay and engage.

Nachteile

The pricing model was a bit confusing to start but after a couple of answered questions, it made sense.

Basically it did what I expected it to do and some more. Great email management. Screen presentation optimal. Easy to use though it's the first time I'm using it.

Nachteile

They have just added a feature to be able to invite up to 4 attendees on stage. I tried it once but it didn't work. I'm afraid I didn't try it the second time round but they said that they had fixed the problem. One of my attendees who attended on her telephone that she would have preferred to have seen me as well as the chat feature and not have to choose between the two.

This is a great platform to host video content on-demand if you need some really good analytics about time watched on video, etc. It's easy to use and a great experience for the end user.

Nachteile

Haven't found anything I dislike about the platform. An area for improvement is to provide non-profit pricing.

The only con I've found so far is that you can't simulate a "live" chat through automated webinars. But I've been told this will change in the future.

The quality of sound is perfectly fine! The usuability on the forehand (preparation - presentation slides etc.) is going wel. Recorded webinars (on forehand) are doing well.

With live demo Demio produces 80 kb per sec. Which is poor and as direct influence on our performance of our webinar to customers. If we ask for support, Demio only blaims us for poor network. We are an softwarecompany and we have good network. We have checked everything and still Demio can help us, will not help us and put the finger back to us. Every time with a live webinar we have the same issues! They don't take responsibility.

Clean UI and totally easy to set up myself. I was up and running with my Webinars in minutes. I could beautifully brand my Webinars, set up the automation needed with my email system. All in minutes.

I also like all the room features and how easy it was to set up!

This one is tough as I didn't really anything missing for me. I would have liked a customisable message in the waiting room for participants to read before start of the Webinar. I believe this was in the requested features line-up.

Extremely easy to get set up and started. The ability to customize the registration page for your webinar attendees and the metrics available post-webinar make it simple to improve and tailor your future webinars to be even more impactful. Voice quality is much better than skype or MSTeams. We were able to host our most successful webinar our company has ever had in 16 years

Nachteile

Would be nice if you could send unique join links for a group of attendees - for example if we have distributors inviting their customers to our webinar it would be nice to have a unique join link for that distributor so we can see which attendees were invited by each distributor.

Other pontial con is that Demio is strictly a webinar platform. Not to be used as a meeting space. Trying to host MS Teams style meetings is not practical.

I chose Demio because I wanted an easy webinar solution, and it definitely delivered. I like the different options for presenting, that it has interactive tools, chat, great statistics, etc. And I was very impressed with the quality of the customer support team. Really responsive, fast and kind.

Nachteile

I didn't like that the reminder emails were not very customizable and the Spanish version could definitely use some improvements.

Where do I start?!

The platform is so easy to use right from setting up the event itself to inviting users to join.

The best feature from a presenters point of view is it allows me to seamlessly transition between sharing videos and PowerPoint. When I return to PowerPoint after giving a product demo, it picks right back up from where it left. The in-event screen sizes are great, even when you are sharing a PowerPoint - where other providers shrink you down to a size that is nearly invisible. The fact i can easily add all resources in advance is great and the option for attendees to download the resource is such a great tool....it means I'm not hassled after the event to send over 20 copies of every material that was used.

We have been using several platforms since the end of 2020 in a bid to find the right one and I can wholeheartedly say Demio knocks spots off their competition...and just when you thought it couldn't get better....the price of the plans are just as good!!

Honestly, well done Demio!!!

- Still missing some minor features (support for pointers to go to the next slide)
- A more elaborate tracking system so I can see where registrants are coming from (partners, social media or newsletters). They are working on this right now.

We read some negative reviews of the other alternative. Also, the free trial of Demio was very easy to set up and convinced us that this was the right fit for us.

I love how it comes with every feature right out of the box and it just works brilliantly. I love that I can set everything once and it just works. After the webinar ends it automatically saves the webinar in the cloud and sends out the replay as soon as its finished to everyone who registered including with my custom message. For me time matters and Demio saves me hours of annoying work.

Nachteile

I don't like the word "Cons". Every software (including my own) can always have additional features that fits a specific targets needs. That's not a con, it's how software works. What you really want to do is look at the team (which rocks!) and see if they are consistently improving the product (which they are).

As a non-tech person in our small non-profit, I was able to figure out and put on a very successful virtual event for our supporters. It was the first time we'd tried a virtual event, and I was impressed at the ease of preparing and practicing the event which made this much less nerve-racking than expected. It was also easy to build in a sign-up on our website, which I hadn't expected either.

Nachteile

The only downside is not offering a discount for non-profits, which is a bummer. But, it's an incredibly well run service with a team that is quick to respond to any of your issues.

NO need to download an app for attendees. Really nice features, especially the action feature. Very intuitive set up . Simple to apply branding. Nice intuitive screen layout for hosts, presenters and attendees. BUT....

Nachteile

Deal breakers for us were the performance and browser limitations. If you plan to have a large webinar with 500+ attendees, the short list of browsers will be problematic. Also just plain performance was lacking, freeze outs, and inconsistent holds if there is any compromise in connectivity. Also, i did not like that you cannot grant the mic to an attendee independent of the camera. It appears to be all or nothing.

I love Demio!! The simplicity of the design. The ease of use. The intuitive set up and the CTA and polling options. Anyone who runs a Facebook group knows the importance of engagement and polling/voting definitely gives you that. Plus it integrates seamlessly with MailChimp and LeadPages and the support team are great too....oh and you can practice in a simulated 'live' webinar before making your debut!

The automated option is only available in the growth and business plan

Ease of use, integrations with my CRM app, great as a training tool. Fast to get up and running effectively. So far I have found it to be 100% reliable.

Nachteile

Registration page customisation is a little basic. So I use my own landing page and the button code sometimes does not give exactly what I am looking for. Example position on page. At time I also would like it bigger.

The product is really easy to use, and chat support is always helpful, fast and really kind.

Nachteile

A software can always be improved, for example we would like to put a background for the speakers but is still not possible.
