First of all, the software is super easy to use. The overall user experience is probably one of the best I've ever seen for a SaaS.
Pages look and function great, so far 0 issues, extra options like "just in time" webinar is a step towards marketing automation we needed.

Nachteile

So far our team did not encounter any issues with the software. We were confused with changing webinar name as it had to be changed on 3 places, but after we've figured it out we've seen the value of having it different (internal, external, social).

I have to admit that I most love the aesthetics of Demio! It's visually pleasing on all levels - the minimal design of both the interactive meeting room and customizable branding on registration forms, email notifications and replays.

Setting up Demio was intuitive for me. When I ran into a few questions I got answers quickly from the support team.

Preparing the room with all my resources (and being able to do a test run), meant I could more easily focus on engaging with my attendees. They enjoyed the experience too. Especially being able to access handouts in the session and receive email reminders!

It took me awhile to figure out how to set up some of the integrations I wanted. But only because I'm not that familiar with Zapier. It would have been easier if I could integrate directly with Stripe.

no fuzz software. easy and straight forward. However it doesn't do what it says on the label.

It seems all fuss free. However if you find out that at least 10 people email you of your audience that they can't login administrators get kicked out of a live session that can't log back in and you get kicked out yourself of a live session. The questions remains, whats the point of the whole platform if it doesn't do the basic feature it meant to provide.

A live seminar where everyone can listen to a webinar. We have spend tons of money on marketing our webinar to find that Demio doesn't let them in or the connection to their server is poor. Not our internet connection their connection. Don't buy this product!

When Covid hit we needed to pivot our face to face services to a virtual service *very* quickly. Demio was well priced and easy to learn how to use. I have now used the product weekly for around 8 months and still love it. On the rare occasions I have needed help the support team have gone to every length to solve my issues. They are always super responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A joy to interact with. Really couldn't recommend this product more.

The only feature that I wish demio had would be an end date to automations (e.g. so I could set an automated class to run at the same time every day for a week but then stop)

Being new to any software like it, I have found Demio to be intuitive and very user-friendly. What really has impressed me over and over again is the customer service. Live chats are answered quickly and professionally, and the representatives have been so patient and helpful! Thank you, Demio team!

It is a very simple yet elegant platform. Easy to deploy, customize and use. It can be customized and integrated with your website without intrusive logos. All colors can be adjusted to your brand.

Nachteile

No subscription would allow you to have all the options you may want (like an automated webinar) for a smaller audience. If you need those options, you need to pay for a much larger subscription which you may not need. There is no ala carte way to pick up what you need.

Capabilities of the software - the Demio setup makes you look like a seasoned producer of live video content. And if you don't know how to do something, the support team is responsive and effective.

There are things I needed to do on my end (close other software, use a private browser window or discreet mode browser to stop cookies and speed things up) that I didn't know until i had some hiccups and needed help. Seems like a checklist from Demio prior to broadcasting would be helpful for first time users. Maybe there is one and I missed it? And if that is the case, they should make it unmissable.

In the trials we ran, Demio was voted by our staff as the smoothest looking presentation.

Easy option to schedule the webinar and even multiple recurring webinars. And quite easy to run polls and share other useful content in the webinar.

Features are all good. It should have option to integrate with payment gateways so that one can run paid webinars easily through it.

I liked how easy it was to integrate with Kajabi. Granted, the step by step instructions provided by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] made it a breeze. Demio was a great product and very easy to use. It made the webinars much easy than I anticipated. I was surprised how well we were able to produce and distribute the webinars.

Nachteile

Only being able to see the current slide - couldn't see what was next.
Some hold music or a splash screen with the webinar name would be very useful and informative.

Easy to use for the admin and viewer;
the platform is good looking and its overall simple design is very well received by attendees - one of the best looking webinar platforms I've seen;
recent updates make banding and customization a bit better - they are continually improving;
VERY responsive customer service!

can't quiz for education purposes and can't track polling questions;
limited metrics;
using YouTube to show a video during a webinar is tricky and not seamless

it did not require an app download to attend a webinar like GoToWebinar; it looked more professional than WebinarJam or Zoom; it is easier to set up and use than GoToWebinar or Zoom; it is possible to show a pre-recorded video during the webinar and at a reasonable price point

The software is clear and easy-to-use.
Everyone gets their own entrance link.
You can download the video afterwards and for instance post it to YouTube or Facebook.
It is very good value for money when you look at Zoom you need to commit to the software for a year to make it work.

Nachteile

Only a payment feature, directly through Demio, but that is a work in progress.
Now a Zapier workaround is required.

Having used every other webinar software, Demio is the best for marketers and in my opinion the end-users as well. Everything looks good, makes sense, and the features are pretty cool.

Occasionally people with wild security settings aren't able to join sessions, but Demio are very responsive and helpful in trying to get those users into the webinar

I love the simplicity of everything in the UI. Integrations, registration process, presentation materials along with everything else one would use in a webinar, are all very easy to set up.

Nachteile

The only very slight drawback is that the on-demand webinar function only has the option to send an attendee directly to the webinar room. It would be a great feature to have 15 minute increments or set times through the day but without receiving dozens of admin notification emails regarding the start of a webinar. However, most attendees seem to want to join immediately anyway, so no complaints.

The simplicity of its use without the need to download large files or large add-ons that you will only use once.

Sometimes the use of a slightly known tool discourages my clients to use it for reasons of trust and credibility and prefer a more "traditional" option.

It's so easy and straightforward to use and I love the automation rules - we tend to keep it simple and stick to tagging those that don't attend but there are so many options available to target different people based on their webinar interaction. Also, there's rarely reason to contact customer service but when you do, the team are incredible and will go above and beyond to help :)

It's easy to do the simple stuff, but almost easier to do advanced things! The simple stuff, like creating a beautiful way for people to register, scheduling email reminders, delivering the webinar, all work flawlessly. But the most amazing part is actually how easy it is to create tailored experiences for people i.e. segmenting people, creating follow up sequences and linking with other software. Demio makes it all a breeze!

Nachteile

I would love to see the stock opt-in pages improved and also send streams to YouTube and Facebook. That's the only thing really missing right now.

Vorteile

I love the option of being able to to host pre-recorded content but stream it as if it were a live webinar. I like that you can also hide the number of viewers, which you can't on a live stream. It's also just super easy to use!

Nachteile

Pricing is a little out of budget for a small startup like ours. I wish the session limit was greater than 8 hours (and more than 5GB for the file size)

I'm able to host a few presenters on a webinar without any problems. The cross browser compatibility makes it my go-to webinar platform to draw a crowd and make money. The auto record feature has consistently given me great recordings that I can download or give people a link.

Nachteile

Not much I can say negative about Demio. It might take a new presenter a few minutes before a webinar to find all of the controls, but after that we are golden.

Vorteile

Superior video content performance to alternatives such as GoToMeeting, Zoom, etc. due to pre-configured hosting spaces with videos and attachments uploaded; they just stream on your command. Had a bizarre bug on my computer lock out feed with a 1-hour window until first-thing-Monday demo and support rep [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] got in and got it done so we could have a great customer experience.

Nachteile

If a customer doesn't have a camera and/or microphone on their device there's not a real way to "call in", a la GTM or Zoom. Not an issue to-date -- I just have them call them on the side -- but a factor to consider.

This is simply painless to use. It won't stress you out or take too much of your time by offering endless frills that you aren't sure about.

I looked through lots of recommendations and reviews and consistently Demio came out on top. That made my choice of webinar software as easy as it is to use. Highly recommend Demio for many reasons - the ease of use was the one important to me. I also liked the ability to run evergreen webinars which was also an important consideration. Highly satisfied.

The pricing structure was straightforward. This was ultimately my deciding factor. You know exactly how much it costs and how many attendees you can have with each plan. Zoom presented me with a confusing monthly payment plus paying for the number of attendees. Then once I learned it was browser-based, I was sold. I chose it over both Zoom and Go To Webinar because it is browser-based and doesn't require any type of download for attendees.

It works well, the feature set matches the needs in a thoughtful way. It's simple enough to have a very shallow learning curve but deep enough to be useful quarter after quarter.

Nachteile

Some of the more in depth design and layout elements can feel a bit nerfed. This is annoying as a long time user but the minor inconvenience is outweighed by the simplicity of setting events up and getting new team members involved.

Easy to use and setup, don't need to download anything to access the webinar, reminders via email, chat, resources and pools during the webinar!

Lack of native integration with Hubspot - let's see how zapier work on that.

The entire set up process is intuitive and clear. Even if this is your first webinar, the applications steps you through everything you need to do to produce and communicate a first-class webinar and experience for your attendees.

Nachteile

I would like to be able to record the chat as well, but I know that is in process for a future release. I think it would be helpful to be able to create a time range rather than just a start time. Being able to use native PowerPoint would also be great. It is a bit pricey.

Vorteile

Demio is simple to use. Great pricing. My clients join via a browser so no need to download anything. Super-fast helpdesk client support. Idiot-proof, as I discovered as I disconnected myself as a presenter yesterday, and took just 30 seconds to reconnect. My viewers barely noticed.

Nachteile

I haven't bumped into any challenges worth mentioning. I had a seamless transition from working with GoToWebinar. (And after 10 years with GTW I expected a lot more learning curve.)

I love the way it looks; very student-friendly. It's pretty easy to upload visual presentations. I love that I can bring people onto the webinar live. And I love that students can access the recordings after the sessions. Plus it's affordable.

I most appreciate that Demio allows you to run live *and* automated webinars on recurring schedules. What's also great is you can even share materials like polls, handouts, and redirects during both types of webinars when you want or at pre-determined time stamps. Super helpful stuff.

Nachteile

I find Demio on the pricier side relative to the service you're getting, though the features are pretty great. For example, most people are used to attending free webinars, so you really need to ensure you're getting some solid ROI if you're creating webinars to attract/qualify leads who may eventually purchase your products. (I'm on the $99/mo plan with the automated webinars being the main feature of that tier.)

Also love all the automation features, which integrate with all the common SMB CRMs (I use ActiveCampaign, and their AC integration works flawlessly). Basically, the product and UX feel like modern software designed by a young, forward-thinking company.

It's not cheap, but on the other hand, if you nail a webinar thanks to this software then it should more than pay for itself.

I've been using Demio for over a year and it's hands down the best all-in-one webinar tool. It's so easy to get started right away and attendees don't have to download any software. I love that it integrates easily with Convertkit (my email provider). And their customer service team is phenomenal.

They changed the price a few times since I joined. At one point, I was paying a higher price for a package that was on the website for much less. Once I noticed it, the team fixed it right away but I wish they would have automatically adjusted that.

Reporting is done show by show. You can only view the list of students by a single session. I want to see a master list of all students who have watched one of my webinars.

There's a lot to like about Demio: the clear user interface, easily customizable registration/thankyou pages/reminder emails/webinar rooms, and high video quality. I also appreciate that it is not necessary to download any desktop software for hosts or attendees. The simple screen sharing feature via chrome extension is also a big plus.

Nachteile

Only cons I found is the overall speed of the app. The dashboard is sometimes slower to respond, the registration pages take some time to load, as well as the recordings of the webinar (we had to download the webinar recording and upload it to a third-party website, because some of our users had trouble loading the video.

If there’ One thing I think softwares and apps should do is to make us forget we’re using a platform and just feel like this is how the world is. It’s like driving a car... you have to learn and it’s complicated, but once you do, stepping on the gas, on the breaks, stirring the wheel... it all just comes natural and all your brain cares about is your destination. That’s how I view and review what I use for my business. I’m not techy, I’m not in the software business, I just want to talk to my audience online, to present my work, to sell through webinars and to have meetings woth a remote team across the globe. I don’t care about anything else and I will remember your brand because you made me forget it when I needed to focus on my destination.
