RemotePC is like a service I used more than 20 years ago and is about the same price for one person. I wanted a service that I could use with a web browser when I was at a motel provided computer or at the homes of friends or family. My current webmail site for my domain name is very bad-long story. And yet I need my email because multiple doctors are sending me many links to go to portals for instructions and these are very time sensitive at this point. Putting an App on someone else's computer won't work. The Lite connection is such a blessing. Nothing like working with your own email program and having access to your files, even your browsing history. I am relieved. I love it.

Nachteile

The Mac mouse doesn't work well with the Lite connection. Non Mac mice work fine. Maybe my daughter's Mac is just too old, but I can't get the application for connection to open. Happy to just use Lite on the Mac.

I have often used it to connect to the computers of the production unit where I work. Quick and easy, a bit slow to add new PCs. For what I use it for, it's perfect

Nachteile

I can't manage consumer groups. For the rest, no other critical issues

It was a perfect fit for what I needed. I would just use Remote Desktop, but in taking over support for this client, the other vendor has not given up the router access. So in order to support the server, I needed to have a method not requiring VPN. Hopefully for many reasons, I will eventually get the router password.

So far it's fine. I don't have any real issues.

The feature to price ratio is spot on. It does everything we need it to do and more. We are able to have access to all of our computers remotely at a fraction of the cost of the previous software we were using.

This was my first time using Remote Pc, I have tried another program, but i don't think it stacked up to the ease of use of Remote Pc. Very easy to set up. I have only used it a few times since purchasing it, but i like it so far.

Not sure if there is a setting, ( or it could be something i need to change on my pc, but if there is a way to make text a bit bigger that would be great ( my eyesight is not the best anymore)

I have multiple node locked programs, some of which only operate on the older operating systems. I save a significant amount of money avoiding the cost of updating the older programs that I utilize. Today's software deployment that forces annual user fees rather a one time fee is a gimmick employed to generate capitol and often add useless feature to the app you are use to using, often requiring additional time for training. Remote PC will enable me to avoid a lot of the unwanted changes.

I have not come across any difficulties or anything that I would complain about. I have only been using the software for a short month.

In comparison to another remote access program we used, this was so much easier to not only set up but just logging in and getting to work was way better. With the other one, we always had to jump through hoops just to get logged in.

We are still pretty new at using this program but have not had any dislikes yet.

I just love how easy it is for me to access my desktop from my laptop. I'm able to run all the functions with the computing power available in my desktop on my laptop.

If I had to pick something, I'd say that the screenshare on my laptop makes the items a little hard to read, but overall it is still very manageable and helpful.

For the price, and what you get, it's impossible to go anywhere else. Remote Desktop sessions are super easy.

This is an exceptional product, and its affordability is unmatched. We also employ this product in my workplace. It's incredibly convenient that I can seamlessly transfer documents from one computer to another. Prior to having this feature, I had to resort to emailing documents from one computer and subsequently accessing them through email on the other. I also appreciate the fact that I can host multiple clients on my computer.

Nachteile

The only aspect of RemotePC that I find less favorable is the small and somewhat challenging to see remote computer screen.

The only minor thing that bothers me, while using RemotePC, is when trying to flip between windows on my laptop, I wind up flip between windows on my remote desktop. I need to click on the into my laptop backgroup screen, sometimes it is tricky.

I love the ease of use for this software. Installation of the software was a no-brainer. The images of the remote desktop was clear and realtime screen refresh. Generous trial..could access most of the needed features. But I went ahead and bought it.

After spending a year with a competitor, I loved that the switch to RemotePC was painless, quick and provided all the same functionality at a fraction of the cost with added Backup Options that are also easy to deploy and use. Something the competitor had but was not very clear on regarding the pricing. RemotePC was very direct and upfront on what you got for what you paid.

I have yet found something I did not like. Maybe not learning of RemotePC a year prior when I first paid for the competitor.

I cannot fathom this product's high rating. The connection drops virtually every time I am on the road for more than a few days. Most unfortunately, the ONLY fix is to have a friend borrow my house key from the security desk to gain entry to my home, and then take at least an hour out of their day in order to call RemotePC support from my desk phone in order to resolve the issue. This has happened so many times that I no longer consider RemotePC a viable solution for accessing my PC when I am away from home.

I purchased RemotePC so that I can have real time access to my security cameras at a RV Park that is near an hour and half away from primary location. I still have access even when internet goes down so this is key expecially when there is an issue.

I've had product for a few weeks now and have not seen a down side. One improvement would be to function when PC is in sleep/lock mode.

Remote Printing is broken and in 2 months they haven't even really started to work the issue. The support people don't apparently take notes, and so each time you speak to someone, you get to explain everything all over again.

I have been using this software for several months now and have been thoroughly impressed with its features and performance. The setup process was very simple and straightforward. I was able to download and install the software in just a few minutes and was up and running in no time. One of the standout features of RemotePC is its fast and reliable connection. Even when accessing my computer from a remote location, I experienced minimal lag or delay, which made it easy to work on my computer as if I was sitting right in front of it.

One disadvantage of RemotePC is that its pricing can be relatively high compared to some of its competitors in the remote access market.

After missing the renewal cancellation deadline by less than a week, I'm stuck with another year with a TeamViewer business license for more than $600. My SOHO business grosses less than $10K a year and that's a big hit to my bottom line which I've accepted for several years. RemotePC provides all the functionality I used with TeamViewer at a fraction of the cost. Deployment has been a snap. I wish I'd discovered RemotePC years ago.

In the interest of client privacy and security, I would prefer that there were an optional way to require my client to GRANT me access with a one-time password on a per-session basis when RemotePC is set up with "always on" configuration.
