What i like about the software is the availability is has, you are technically able to do anything you have to be able to do in a remote session to be able to work normally in a remote session like; printing, file transfer and the fact you are able to launch certain apps only through RDP Connector.

What i currently do not like about RemotePC is the lack of support for people in the EU region and the number of issues we have run into. The support for people in the EU region is slim to none, the chat support is great, but they are only 1st line and are not able to perform any actual support actions other than tell you where you can get help, help you with FAQ and check the status on your support tickets. The actual support (via email and phone) is poor. We have only an hour a day where we can get proper support via phone and even then, we usually end up getting forwarded and told to wait a few business days before an issue can be resolved and that we should check our email through the week. This has cost us a lot of time and because of this we have not been able to finish the work for a client for nearly a month now. The email replies are a lot of time very minimal and sometimes we dont even get a response back for days or at all, we ask support again and get told to wait a few more days and give the team some more time. As an IT provider this is unacceptable and can cause for a loss of clients, this also causes for a company to look into other alternatives to this product. Therefore, my biggest suggestion for RemotePC is a support line for Europe or a general 5 day 24 hours a day call line.

We ended up choosing RemotePC because the trial we did felt good and had all the actions we needed to supply this program to our clients. But because of the number of issues we have been having we are now in doubt of said decision again.

Pricing is realistically based rather than 'have you over a barrel' prices from other solutions. Definitely a lot of features for the price, easy to install and straightforward to use. This puts many other solutions that cost 3 times the price to shame. Excellent product!

Honestly, it is hard to fault. I run this software on linux, windows and mac systems but one tiny thing I haven't managed to do yet is complete the installation without errors on an old Linux system. I think the system is up to date but I am still struggling. However, I have successfully installed it 1st time on another identical Linux system so I think the problem lies at my end rather than the software. No problems installing on several windows machines and macs though.

Teamviewer is a rip off and there autorenewal system is outrageous. Minimum 28 days notice is required or they bill you for a FULL YEAR! Dodgy tactics from that company and eye-watering prices. Customer service was appalling too.

This product offers a cheap and reliable way of gaining access to a remote computer enabling me to offer effective IT support to the user of this computer. It was significantly cheaper and more convenient that having to upgrade this computer from Windows Home to Windows Pro and using the built-in windows desktop.

Remote PC was easy to set up and simple to teach other users. Very good instructional videos to get us started.We start and monitor image processing software that runs on nights and weekends from home. Excellent way to use computer resources that normally slow down workday tasks.Very impressed that there is zero lag during sessions. Just like working on the remote system.

It is a great tool to work with. Great features are easily accessible and usable. It works great for me even during a slow internet connection. Apart from remote access, it can also be used to transfer huge files.

Nachteile

User interface can be improved a bit. Also, prices can be made more affordable looking at the highly competitive market.

I liked the appeal of the price.... but I soon learnt you get what you pay for!

Unreliable, don't ever install this where remote access to a machine is critical - it will let you down! Buggy, crashes all the time with various software exceptions, file transfer is is a guessing game as to whether it will do it/has done it, client machines continuously need the software processes killing via task manager and then re starting to get it to work - this is exaggerated on pcs with multiple user accounts as switching users seems to cause it to hang consistently. Also has a habit of reporting that a session is in progress when it is not. I was a Logmein user for years before switching to this product so no stranger to remote software. Logmein might be more expensive but it is in a completely different league to RemotePC

The time from setup to use was incredibly short and simplicity/intuitiveness are always nice!

The only issues I have had with the service so far is minor image distortion which comes from data transfer, not necessarily anything on your end, but could possibly be improved.

This product is very easy to set up and use and works very well. We are a small organization that doesn't need enterprise levels of remote access, but many of the other options are either too minimalistic or more complex than needed. It's great for remoting in from elsewhere as well as providing simple support to users. The value is also very good compared to competitors that charge notably more for similar features.

The only challenges are making simple changes to the plan; however, communication with support was simple and efficient in making the necessary amendments. It would just be nice to be able to do it myself. I also would appreciate an option for a loyal customer discount; however, have to admit that the regular costs (after the very inexpensive introductory pricing) are pretty reasonable.

This software is easier to use, has more features that I use, and is less expensive than software I have used in the past (specifically Teamviewer). I find that the connection also seems much more stable. Stability is important to me, and it has been rock solid.

Integration was easy. I had some issues with setting up unattended access, but I am typically using a Macbook Pro to connect to a Windows 10 desktop workstation.

Also like how cloud backup is integrated into the web panel, can be easily implemented into your setup.

Access speed more than acceptable for remote access, speed comparative to being on the machine itself!

Only issue/con regarding the software is that client software had to be installed twice on just one computer before being registered on the web panel. Fine after 2nd install, no others gave negative response.

Will not call this a RemotePC issue, as some settings were changed on the computer between 1st and 2nd install that may have been root cause...

The software was easy to download onto the computer. It is also easy to use and very fast to connect to my office computer. The first time I downloaded it to my office and then to my laptop, I logged on 15 diffrent times during the day to just make sure it worked. I just logged on now as I write this review and I got to my computer at work in seconds. It's fast and so affordable. I was using TeamViewer for the last few years and they were charging me over $600 for a single user. I can't believe RemotePC is better and is way more affordable.

Honestly, there is nothing so far except for slightly slow transitions of screens occasionally. But that is more due to my internet at my office vs. the Remote PC product itself.

I used the product several years ago, and it was good, but now it is excellent! It is very fast, easy to install, reliable, and the screens are well-designed and intuitive. Remote functions, file transfer, printing - all very solid.

I had trouble accessing the newer "performance" version on one system. I believe the fault was with a virus protection software. It only took a few minutes with tech support (whom I was able to reach quickly) to resolve the issue.

It is a wonderful product and the price can't be beat. We also use this product at my workplace. It is wonderful that I can copy documents from one computer to another. Before this feature, I was having to email documents from one computer and then access them through email on the other. I also like that I can have multiple clients on my computer.

The only thing I don't like about RemotePC is that the screen of the remote computer is very small and hard to see.

Remote access is key for me in my business. Remote PC gives me that. Remote PC provides remote access to all the same functions as my descktop from my ohone, laptop or tablet. It's awesome!

With remote access comes conectivity issues. I can't blame Remote PC for delays in connecting sometimes it's poor reception or wifi. But overall this is the thing I like least about mobile access.

I work from home, running my own freelance writing business, and I primarily use a desktop computer. Whenever I traveled to visit family, I was able to continue working on my laptop, but I often needed files, images or other information that was only on my desktop. I did some research and found RemotePC and decided to try it. I really liked that it was easy to set up and use, even for non-techies. It gave me reliable access to everything on my desktop computer at home, but with the freedom and mobility of using my laptop when I traveled.

I honestly can't think of anything negative...every experience I had with the software went smoothly, and it always worked when I needed to use it. I never even needed to contact support, but it's there if you ever need it.

No matter where I am, I can access my work computer and the files on there. I can even print on the work printer while I'm somewhere else. Lets me work with my team while not in the office!

There are times when the software lags a little bit, but I think that's more due to internet problems, and not the software itself. Save time, transfer the file you need to use to your laptop and don't rely on the internet.
