Glasscubes is a platform that helps collaboration in small business or any work team. It has pretty good features: File sharing, progress tracking, result delivering, budget watching, email and text notifications.

It helps and saves time. Its app is really easy to use.

Nachteile

It could be expensive for small businesses and its UI is not memorable. I would suggest trying around other apps before choosing the final.

I have been searching around for a shared system that is adaptable and flexible for my small local charity with volunteer Trustees. Glasscubes ticks all the boxes - it cuts out all the clutter when it isn't needed, it is simple to use and team members get the hang of it within minutes. If you have a problem staff even pick up the phone!

Nachteile

Very little - it (unusualy) does exactly what it says it will do - and does it well

As an accountant I find Glasscubes is excellent for not only getting to grips with multiple tasks/deadlines and maintaining a client overview but also as a client portal. I also love the responsive and friendly support from the staff.

There are some areas that could be improved such as the Gantt chart style view of tasks

We could not be happier with this product! Excellent value, affordable, perfect for our organization's size and needs. Did not know a comprehensive product like this existed. Glasscubes' support is dependable. Communication is stellar. Could not be more pleased, and my company has benefitted from this purchase. It has changed the way we work and improved our efficiency. It give us the tools larger organizations have, and has streamlined the way we communicate and organize particular functions. The downloadable app for smart phones was a big bonus. Amazing product, exceptional value.

Nachteile

Looking forward to the Calendar feature being a part of the app. Otherwise, I do not have any cons to convey.

Cuts the complication that comes with many other Portal websites - file uploads and downloads are fast and easy without the excess of data input required by some. Easy to navigate file structure and email notifications on updated drawings make finding and accessing updated information fast and simple

At first glance it appears overwhelming and complicated, but once you play around in it, it isn' that way at all.

The file versioning is a great tool, making updates for files easier without the need to replace them.

Nachteile

Certain file types are awkward to update, for example, drawing files with xrefs attached. You need to download them to edit and then upload them back manually.

Glasscubes is robust and easy to use.Reliable in terms of keeping versions in sync, editing online and versions control; and easy as in highly intuitive and also very easy to share links with people outside my organisation.

LIve editing by multiple users would be good - at least an option to do so

Can add files and comments, ideal if you want to have multiple conversations going with a selected group.

There's one small issue, when emails are sent with the notification of a comment, all the text gets lumped together with no spacing. Has caused a few issues with lists as some people just read the email (lazy I know, but it happens!).

The inability to flag posts or notifications - when the platform is updated as regularly as it is, it can be difficult to stay on top of everything on your workspaces.

Collaborative working at its best. We have been using Glasscubes for a number of months now and cant imagine not having it as part of our core toolset. The functionality is extensive and its incredibly intuitive to use. As a local government user, we are limited in the type of products we can use but this one ticked all the boxes and I can only see it's use increasing as time goes on.

nothing so far, I have not found anything that it cant do as of yet.

A nice platform to use in the workplace, it is very easy to keep track of lists/tasks etc.
As a company we use this as a master task list, where we have all of our tasks subdivided into sections relating to our role within the company and then those tasks are assigned to us.
With regards to file uploads etc we do not use this feature as we should.
all together though, it is a very useful application and we rely on it to keep track of our tasks register for all members of staff.

Nachteile

I do find the compatibility with glasscubes vs windows is not at its best, for example you cannot copy and paste a number of tasks into glass cubes or vice versa as far as i am aware.
I like the feature of being able to download a report - although this does not come without errors in formatting for example - this should be looked at.

Glasscubes is a fantastic Platform for our team, the ability to be able to communicate, share folders and files is brilliant. The personalised support that is offered is second to none and I would recommend top anyone without hesitation

Tricky at first, there is a lot of things you need to personalize which take time. For example, you would have to customize the workspace lists so that not everyone gets the emails. It takes time to set up but once you do that it is a good product

I like the ability to store, manage and share my documents with some of my key stakeholders. We are able to keep each other informed of the latest and historical changes.

I would recommend improving how documents are downloaded. I am accustomed to the method today, but initially it was not that intuitive for me.

Quite admirably, the design and support team of Glasscubes are ever ready to schedule a call to take users through the various functionalities.

Provides an excellent service for our funded project. Enables data to be shared between partners securely and effectively. Would recommend to others who work with several partners for a space where information can be shared and stored for all to access securely.

It is a bit of a minefield if you are a new user.

- it would be very useful to be able to post a document only once, but share it separately with different teams. As it is now, a document has to be posted in full for each team using it.

The ease of set-up, the fact that even those who are not completely computer literate can use it with no problems. I like being able to access meeting papers, review documents and connect with others on our national committee whenever I want.

There is nothing about it that I dislike.

Very easy to set up and use; and easy to upload and download documents. Glasscubes is a great workspace to share files with others in a team or project group. The ability to add comments and to "message" others with links to a file, gives it the edge over sharing a Dropbox.

Nachteile

Having to download files to edit them, and then upload the new version is a bit of a clart and less capable than Sharepoint, but Glasscubes is for people who are not necessarily all on the same sharepoint

I really like the clean and lean design of the user interface. It is very responsive and has a unique set of features. In-text search for documents, fully-fledged task management including time and progress tracking are features we really appreciate. The software is cloud hosted which makes it easy to use in-house as well as when travelling. User can be assigned to different roles and permissions can be restricted to certain areas only which makes it ideal to use for collaborating with clients.
Big bonus to a really fast and responsive UI.

Nachteile

There are a few features we have on out wish list which have not be implemented yet. We would for example like to be able to restrict access to the dashboard to certain users only. Also there is currently no offline file sync tool for mac available.

Glasscubes is an excellent product that helps users in a variety of use cases across education, business, and collaboration in general. It is flexible, easy to understand and use, and is very aesthetically pleasing.

Nachteile

While their flat rate pricing is convenient in the long term, it can also be inconvenient for those just starting out.

If you like that Google Docs allows you to collaborate on a shared document--glasscubes offers the same but with many more functionalities. Being able to write directly into a word document, for instance.
