Does what it says on the tin - a serious time saver for personal tax compliance
Very positive !
Vorteile
Compared to other tax software that tries to do it all, but ends up doing everything poorly (I'm looking at you, CCH), Glasscubes does one thing and it does it very well. Glasscubes automates some of the more tedious parts of client management for personal tax (chasing for information year round just for the client to send their information in January), and in my experience has led to some of our more last-minute clients sending information earlier than in prior years.
Glasscubes also provides a space for clients to securely upload documents, and this space was clearly designed with the client in mind. When a client's documents are requested, they receive a request via email that gives them a text box and a space to securely upload relevant files and information - no login required!
Nachteile
The only growing pains our team has experienced thus far is that the automated reminders, which generally save us time, can be a bit annoying if we forget to mark the info request complete in glasscubes. A welcome addition would be if you could query clients by client manager and if automated reminders could be suppressed through a simple tick box rather than needing to mark returns as submitted.

Better than originally expected.
We made the decision to try this software after having a demo. We are only a relatively small accountancy company so it was a sizeable investment for us. However, it not only does what we originally intended it for (an easy to use portal for clients to answer queries - they actually answer all our queries now!) but its been really helpful in managing projects with clients. We are very impressed with the whole system, took a bit of getting used to the workspace concept but we are now adding lots of useful features to our processes. Support is excellent. Customer Success Manager [sensitive content hidden] is a huge help and always on hand to guide us through getting the best out of the software. By far the best purchase in our tech stack for a long while.

Clients actually respond to you answer your queries instead of ignoring your emails!
Nachteile
Wasn't keen on our first impressions of the workspace concept but know that we have a better understanding of the system and use the About feature to save clients contact details for each workspace its working really well.

Highly recommended
I highly recommend both the team at Glasscubes and the software.
Glasscubes is a simple and cost-effective way for me to manage documents/files with external vendors. I also find it more reliable as a sharing tool with external project team members than Sharepoint or other file-sharing options. With other options I usually receive a number of emails from colleagues asking for access to be "fixed" or re-sent. With Glasscubes there have been no access problems or questions about how to use the features.
The tools for admin oversight are easy to use but powerful.
There was no pressure with the sales experience and the technical support has been excellent.
Vorteile
Easy and fast to set up without any technical expertise needed; although support is available if it is wanted. Intuitive to use. Responsive technical support with a named person for consistency; but also lots of FAQ/training documents are easily available.
Nachteile
The option to use the "Tasks" function for timeline management is an excellent extra feature within the project team/workspace but is not set up as a reporting tool.

I believe the company is onto something which can continue to develop into a very powerful channel for communicating with external parties in a seamless way.

Excellent service really happy overall.
The team all use Glasscubes training and creating process guides for our internal working and usage of glasscubes has been relatively straight forward.
Vorteile
Support staff are fantastic, glasscubes is intuitive and easy to use. We can rely on the product and it is an integral system in our day to day working with other Universities and schools in the region that our project supports.
We have always appreciated the discount as a small project budgets are cut year on year.
Nachteile
I need to Audit our workspaces to see when each workspace last had a document uploaded and the current export only shows up to a certain number of uploads that dates back to 22. I need to Audit back to 2017 when the platform was set up and this is a manual task which will take some time.

It works well but could be improved
I mostly enjoy GC, Im not a huge fan of how it looks but that's personal opinion. It can be harder to use when just on a small laptop screen. But overall I like the use of file sharing.

File storage system is ok, excel document access could be better
Glasscubes works well over all, but it would be great if the number of clicks needed to access excel documents was reduced.
Vorteile
Its easy to navigate, files are locked to avoid version clashes, preview works well for word documents and pdfs.
Nachteile
Excel documents don't work well in preview, you have to use desktop connect, which adds a few steps every time a document is opened (on the down side). Sometimes if the connection times out you can lose work, and sometimes the connection doesn't work at all and you just have to download documents to desktop and reload afterwards.

I love Glasscubes!!
It offers so many amazing features that you can more or less customize for a variety of uses. It's easy, it's flexible, and the support folks are just awesome.

I use the project management sections using the CanBan methodo,logy and occasionally creating the management tiers is a bit tricky, the way project items are moved around into tiers. But I do get it to work.

In house marketing production, made simpler.
The problem of solving a one stop shop for each specific job/campaign and associated assets for a wider marketing team. Glasscubes worked well for us. It was important that the right people could see the right task and files for the right brief.
Vorteile
Ease of use across multi-channel marketing teams. One simple place to manage and track campaign work.
Nachteile
The missing function would be for there to be an option where you can choose to download all files from a job rather than having to download them individually.

Glasscubes for due diligence information requests
Vorteile
Clients upload responses and information to specific points on the platform which is great as clients can answer points piecemeal and it means I'm not having to trawl through lots of emails, which would be the alternative. The platform is user friendly and so far my clients have no complaints.
Nachteile
The only thing I can think I would like to see improved is the ability to separate your information request into sections with headings.

7/10. I think it is a useful platform and I prefer having it compared to not having it. I simply wish there was easy in depth tutorials for what each sections does. Sometime a client gets an email alter, other times they don't and finding out why isn't straightforward. Customer support has been good.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the experience I've had with Glasscubes making it easier to resolve queries and keeping up date with various projects.

The portal has been very useful since we started using this software.
This portal has made it easier to receive information from clients when sending queries which was our intended purpose with this software.
It has also been useful when working with new clients being able to monitor at what stage we are with the client.

The only slight weakness is when adding information on a workspace, when inputting some information, it then sometimes shows an error about the link.

Very little (if any) downtime
Overall very happy. I find uploading and downloading easy to do and, once used to it, creating a shareable link.

There is very little downtime (if any) when using Glasscubes. It's easy to use for file sharing and can be whitelabelled.
Nachteile
I don't like it that there is no option to complete a quick live search - ie to jump to all files starting with J or P etc. Instead we have to page down through many files to locate the appropriate file.

Insist on Glasscubes for your next Audit
Glasscubes has greatly improved our audit experience this year. Acting as the link between the Auditors & our Company, it's been a very smooth ride for me to delegate and keep track of all the outstanding info requests given out to our domestic & overseas subsidiaries to complete.
My whole team agree that having all the requests and documents in one place has greatly improved efficiency and stress levels. I've provided feedback to the auditors where it can be improved further for next year, and I'm sure the team at Glasscubes will act on this. I would recommend Glasscubes to anyone with an upcoming audit.

So Easy to Use
Makes my day to day job incredibly easy.
Vorteile
I love how easy the portal is to use, in terms of uploading and how you can create password protected links to share with clients, and the team are fantastic.
Nachteile
The searching tool is a little tricky to use at times, luckily I know where everything is.

Increased efficiency and visibility
Vorteile
Glasscubes has provided our team with a tool that has increased the quality and efficiency of our information requests to clients. It has enabled both ourselves and clients to have an organised, up to date and clear list outstanding items. It really works for our audit department and ensures the whole team has visibility on the progress of the requests.
Nachteile
I do not consider there to be any cons with Glasscubes as such. Any user issues I have incurred were well supported by the team and recent updates have really increased the the functionality.

Everything flows nice, from getting to where you need to go.

The homepage and website it well set up , and is easy to locate what you are looking for .

First experience.
My overall experience with glass cubes is very smooth as I do not need to remind client manually to forward the information. The burden of work on deadline dates now reduced.
Vorteile
Automatic reminders and smooth information process.
Nachteile
There is nothing that I can say to date i do not liked.
