lo utilizzo principalmente come IDE, apprezzo moltissimo la gestione a plugin scaricabili per aggiungere funzionalità, supporta moltissimi linguaggi di programmazione e framework. si integra con git hub ed è utilizzabile anche su Mac OS

Nachteile

Come molti strumenti di questo tipo non è molto intuitivo da utilizzare, devi avere un buon background e studiarti le varie funzionalità.

This is a great free IDE which has great community support. It works great with WAMP on windows, and the debugger is easy to use. I've been using Netbeans for about 10 or more years.

I can only think of one con. It does not have a what you see what you get html editor to build your websites using a mouse.

Apache NetBeans provide lots of features than a simple source codes editor.It can run on cross platforms such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS without any difficulties.Also, applications which we have develop using Apache NetBeans can execute on those cross platforms.Syntax highlighting feature will help us to quickly focus on our source code syntaxes in-order to have a perfect coding structure.

It would be great if have some detailed documentations regarding the Apache NetBeans platform.

Netbeans is perfect for someone who tries to learn coding or the tool is required by his job requirements. It provides a IDE with debugging, deploy and code editing functions. Code completion and some inspections are also integrated in the app.

Nachteile

The UI is a bit difficult and the inspections and code completion performance is not so good. There are some plugins to make the UI make a bit more simple and modern but the overall experience is a step behind opposite of another products.

Vorteile

This IDE is very direct at first, you create the project, set up the FTP connection and can upload your files directly to the server. It also has the debug functionality to test on local which is also good, but I've never tried that.

Nachteile

Too much of everything. Too much configurations, too much options. Ten minutes to disable an annoying option, is definetely too much.

3. Software Maintenance - This software had some upgrades when I used it, some of the issues from old versions were fixed with updates
4. Stability - There were not many crashes with NetBeans

1. Old style UI - Although UI is intuitive, but it looks like outdated, in a meantime other products with better design languages appear more attractive to new users
2. Limited Language Support - Support many core languages are not there
3. Decline of JAVA - NetBeans was my primary Java IDE for long times, for java, it was good, intuitive. But I stopped using Java as many other developers.

The intelli-sense and code completion is great.
It's easy to add plugins to Apache Netbeans.

Kind of resource heavy if you don’t have 4 Gb of Ram and up , you’ll have a bad time, but this is more Java fault than from the app itself.

I like the GUI of NetBeans. It's neat and makes using the application very easy.
The fact that the application is free and open source is really good.
Syntax checking is great because it helps to save time when inspecting codes for errors.
I also like the fact it's multiplatform and so can be installed on different operating systems.

Nachteile

Even though NetBeans makes programming easy, I believe it has some learning curve. Luckily, there are lots of documents to get started.
I also wish there are more frequent updates than is the case right now.

Non è molto maturo per lo sviluppo dei framework javascript based come angular e react. Pare che in compilazioni usi un po' troppa RAM.

There seems to be compatibility issues with Windows 10 and NetBeans. NetBeans will download, but functionality will suffer greatly and many tools will be unusable. Often, multiple installs must be performed. However, this platform does work fine with Windows 8.

The WordPress incorporation plugins are lacking and I spend more time than I should on that . The loading time is slow and the program is heavy to run in overall . The history log isn't as meticulous as I would like it to be .

First of all Apache NetBeans is free and open source. While being a free and open source IDE it is packed with features I needed as a Java developer. And the user interface is straightforward. Integration to Git is really good. Code auto completion feature is a very helpful feature. Being able to open several projects at once and explore those is also a very helpful feature.

I have only one problem with NetBeans which is not being able to theme the IDE according to my desire. Themeing options they have given in the IDE is not enough.

The interactive features and the syntax structuring makes it much more interesting and for our students and easier to access and use compare to other programming development platforms. Moreover, our students can download the platform for fee which make it more accessible compare to other platform which is great perks as newbie programmer.

The least thing on this platform is it too sensitive and other data types cannot be used and a lot of errors occurs. The list of suggested item are sometime too complicated compare to other platform.

NetBeans used to be my first choice for Java development. I used it specifically to create J2EE application deployed to Glassfish. It was solid, feature rich and updated frequently.

Unfortunately the changeover to Apache foundation seemed to break something. Now I've been unable to use it proficiently. And this is a pity because the value is still there but seems to be unreachable.
