Overall, Highered created an environment conducive to holistic development, preparing students not only for their careers but also for life beyond academia.

My concern was the accessibility of certain resources, which could be improved to better accommodate students with diverse internship needs.

Nachteile

Not much! We have had security issues with some of our partners not being able to connect with their company's equipment, but that's not Highered's doing. We will deal with those partners separately in the future to warn them to use their own equipment.

About everything else that is not perfect about the platform, the Highered Talentpanel team is open to suggestions and will look into implementing them for future events!

While Highered is a fantastic platform, there were occasional delays in receiving responses from some companies after submitting applications. Additionally, the overwhelming number of events and resources can sometimes make it challenging to keep track of everything. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall positive impact Highered has had on my career search.

As someone navigating the job market, I have extensively used Highered recently. What I like most is that it's a user friendly interface, extensive job listings, educational resources, and career services.

Nachteile

Although Highered provides useful filters for job search, there is room for improvement. For instance, the platform can benefecit from more advanced search options such as the following:
1) Choice between remote, hybrid, or onsite
2) Experience level
3) Easier navigation when filtering (for instance, if I am filtering certain countries, the page refreshes making the scroll bar go to the start of the page, which interrupts the search process as I will have to scroll back down and scroll again through the countires to choose my preference)
4) The option to search by area/region
5) The option to exclude (for instance, I want to search in Europe but I want to exclude 2 countries)

Provides a lot of useful webinars and virtual events that introduce, and show many areas that one needs to cover before entering a job market.

However, it was often difficult to network and have some more specific conversations with interesting people, as they had their own presentations, and even though there were questions, they were still quite general, and hence, the answers were too. That made some webinars really boring for someone who participated in similar webinars. Maybe incentivizing speakers to have more interaction with the audience would help? Maybe just more passionate speakers would also help?

The possibility to choose among many offers throughout Europe, the continuous updates, the possibility to activate an alert for the proposals that interested me.

Sometimes the offers I received via allert were not very precise

I really like that the work with big company’s like L’Oreal, so if you are interested on working for that company you can have a lot of inputs that comes from the HR for example so are very usefull.

It has so many new and innovative technical features that makes it easy for us as Recruiters and candidates. The Highered team are also great. They are really supportive and always try their best to adapt to IOM's needs.

We are still trying to capture nationalities perfectly, referring to the nationalities of students who participated in the fair so that we can really source and target the group we would like. But we can see a solution is coming very soon :)

This platform is so intuitive and easy to navigate. Stakeholders are getting weary of using multiple platforms for virtual events so its very useful to have a 'straightforward' package. Visually appealing and a good alternative to face to face events. Sensibly priced compared to other providers

Nachteile

A useful feature to add would be for it to be compulsory for students/alumni to have to add their education major - many just click 'other' which means the engagement data is not complete to feedback to employers/course directors. Another good feature would be for reminders to students to flash up on their profiles to remind them to upload a CV (which isn't compulsory to upload)

Webinar features are the best and highly recommended to all of our partners that attend. Company booths are also fantastic - everything linked in one place (profile, jobs, videos, webinars, etc.) is fantastic.

I think the chat is a little clunkier to navigate, I think allowing employers to download resumes without asking would be helpful.

We like it has many features and analytics, as well as the university base which is really large

In some instances not user friendly, for example choosing the accounts we want to see the statistics for, or when we go into statistics the number of students who signed up for the events is not showing and it is really important for us to know the size of the pool we are tapping into. It would be great if we could proactively reach out to students via chat, instead of waiting for them to chat with us.

Very easy to use and get your vacancies to multiple universities through one platform. The customer services is fantastic, I always get a prompt answer if I need help or need to discuss a matter.

The virtual events and webinars are also great to interact with students as well as learn a lot from the other professionals.

Nachteile

The product itself is great, more targeted towards business schools but Highered have assured me that this will change and I will be able to target more students with STEM backgrounds!
