Vorteile

Very easy to use and straightforward software. Fast opening software, so many customization available but I like the default theme. It also open your last project if you ever close it.

Nachteile

Integration, nothing much to offer, what you see is what you get.

The part that I like most about Sublime Text is that despite being free, it has vast options of plugins that enables it to be a text editor that has functionalities close to IDEs.

Nachteile

The constant popups asking people to upgrade the software could be cumbersome at times. However, since this is a free software, I see this being a reasonable burden.

I like the functionalities it has: put color in relevant things, change format to highlight what we're looking for, debug simple codes and find mistakes in the syntax, and replace words easily when we have to duplicate and modify codes

Nachteile

Its interface is not so friendly when you start to use Sublime, it looks a bittle lit old and too "exclusive" for super trained developers, even though it's really appropriate for other uses too.

Sublime text has replaced my default text editor. The flexibility in it is just astounding. I even use it as my editor for programming. It has everything a computer programmer needs. One can also customize sublime with the various packages present on the internet.

Nachteile

Even though I love using Sublime text, I feel that there should be an option to undo changes to a document after saving. This is the only con in sublime in my opinion.

Colour coding when file is saved as XML, JSON, SQL, etc.Allows you to format or "beatify" these types of files into proper format.

This software meets all my needs. Able to open all types of files with colour coding of keywords. Able to "beautify" (format) files for easier readability.

I used it for a long time, as a simple text editor, without knowing that it had so much functionality. It is really complete and excellent. it is handy for the coder with its auto-completion system and the highlight. You can even add plugins. In the end, I found it a waste to use it as a simple text editor

During all the time I used it, I've never had any problems with it.

Sublime text is easy to set up and use, the interface is very good-looking. It supports various languages and the color schemes to highlight the syntax of the language are very useful. Text completion suggestions are very useful.

Nachteile

Currently sublime does not save the work automatically which is a problem in case of an emergency shutdown. It does not support a fully functional IDE. Plugins are not very user-friendly.

In terms of performance sublime is one of the fastest no lags what so ever, great for low spec PCs.

It's a simple editor that makes writing code easier. Depending on what coding language you are writing it can be a great entry or advance tool to use. It helps me reduce the strain of looking at lines of code and the themes make it nice to look at as well.

Managing tabs can be troublesome at times. Having no limit on tabs is helpful but also means the space provided to display the title is greatly reduced. Although package management is beyond the scope of this editor, a simple playground for the more common languages would be useful.

One of my favorite and used features is that you can put sublimation and any textual expression into the format you want and compare it by splitting the screen.

The shortcuts, and core features are very useful. It makes code and text editing extremely efficient. It is also very memory / cpu efficient, runs very fast.

The project configuration and build system can be quite limiting sometimes. I try to automate things and lint my code based on nature of each projects, and I run into limitations which I have to either find a workaround, or give up on it.

I liked some of its powerful features such as simultaneous editing, using which you can modify multiple lines of code at the same time. Another unique feature is its Goto anything feature that saves me a lot of time finding a specific definition or function of the file. Also, the minimap feature comes pretty handily to jump to a specific location of the file.

The price is a bit on the higher end. Its alternative software like Notepad++ and atom comes for absolutely free of cost. And apart from a few unique features, everything else is quite similar. The UI is not up to the mark too.

This is the cleanest interface for an ide on the market, I do not feel overwhelmed with features like other IDE's I have used.

The editor is an industry-standard and is one of the top 3 web editors on the market with constant updates and support.

I have no problem with high-quality software selling for a price, but if you are going to buy sublime text buy it as the free option will constantly tell you too which will get rather tedious.

While it is not a free sublime text used to be the best editor on the market, now vscode which is free has a lot of the same functionality and support. This does not mean do not buy it but that fact should be known

As a text editor that wants to be an IDE, sublime is an excellent bang for your buck addition to any software developer just getting started in the trade and even some veterans.

The simplicity and barebones nature of the software means you can very much create your own specific configuration that fits your needs to a T and perfectly adapts to your necessities more so than any other software i've ever run into.

Additionally, the software itself is very light, meaning that if you want to run this on a cheap laptop or a raspberry pi just to get some work done, you'll feel as good as if you were on a top of the line super computer.

All in all, a very solid choice for a text editor.

Sublime Text is the lightest text editor I ever used. It comes with great syntax color highlighting that really making a lot of developer fall in love with (Monokai). Sublime text, in my opinion, is 5 times faster than Atom and 2 times faster than VS code even with no extensions installed to both of them.

This is the first IDE I've used to the fullest. It has easy to understand user interface, and does not include things which are not needed, support for additional features is usually done via plugins. Better performance than Visual Studio Code.

It's hard to think of a con for it. If I have to I would say on Mac when you open a file with it by a right click, it opens a new window instead of using the opened a as a new tab. But this might be an issue of my configs.
