Assist initial impressions.
Overall the experience has been positive. Zoho Assist has provided the flexibility required to support our staff no matter the device they are utilizing.
Vorteile
The ability to support our staff no matter what platform they are using. I have run remote support sessions to Windows desktops, Android Phones/Tablets, and iPhones.
Nachteile
The inability to integrate external password management solutions such as Bitwarden, Keeper, Nordpass, Proton Pass, or LastPass. Also, the inability to add custom tools to be run such as PowerShell or Python Scripts.

How to not break the bank with remote assistance.
Zoho has been great, it functions as a tool that I don't have to worry about and don't feel I'm being gouged
Vorteile
The cost to feature/function ratio is great. There are lot of features found in comparable more expensive solutions but available at a much more budget friendly package. The interface is intuitive and simple to navigate and understand vs other more costly solutions.

Unattended agents sometimes go offline for short periods of time after intense troubleshooting sessions that require multiple reboots, connect, disconnects.

Unattended Access supporting remote areas
Vorteile
Unattended access is a great tool for allowing my team to support all the users that we have across multiple remote areas. The ability to run in an elevated mode allows us to update software for our users and there are tools in the background that allow us to run powershell or cmd shell without interrupting users.
Nachteile
File transfer can be quite slow some times and the interface is a little clunky, but works overall when needed.

Support is great, quick to respond and resolve issues.

Easy to deploy, showing active or logged in user and the search by device or active user is a huge time saver.

Would like if there was an organizational tree view vs just creating groups to filter on. works but I feel a tree view would be helpful as well.

I've been using a lot of remote tools throughout my career and Zoho assist has been my favorite so far. Zoho stands out to other app because of its versatility, I can use it anywhere I like, I can use to my desktop, laptop, and even on my mobile phone which makes it much easier for me to handle user concerns. Great features such as unattended access, live chat, file transfer/sharing and troubleshooting tools makes it a top remote solution for you.
Nachteile
Didn't have anything to dislike about the app, customer support are also reliable and they act fast enough to make the most assistance I needed.

The flexibility of licensing for unattended or by support person is what attracted us to the ZohoAssist solution. For liability reasons we have a balance of unattended stations and support person licensing. Company owned remote machines for unattended and support person licensing for non-company machines. This forces the acknowledgement of allowing support in by starting the support session.
Nachteile
One item that we find cumbersome is modify station properties like changing the name of the machine in unattended stations. It has to be modified from a different area and is not intuitive. I suggest adding a link in the system properties to allow modifying the system name.

Great product for a mixed environment and easy to use
We really struggled with our macOS users and figuring out how to provide remote support to them. As new macOSs are released, we lose more and more features with other software. With Zoho Remote we are now able to address the entire mixed network 100%.
Vorteile
Unattended access is a great feature for us once the client is installed. Users don't have to do anything but click accept to allow a technician to join a remote session. Once connected the user can basically give the tech control to help.
Nachteile
There is nothing we don't like about the software other than once the client is installed for unattended access it requires a reboot to show up in the list of machines.

Vorteile
This product is really great, working as IT support I need to deal with a lot of remote session requests. With the help of Zoho Assist I can manage to work on different machines at the same time making it very time efficient. I also liked the features of this product such as real time chat to my colleagues whenever I'm not doing unattended session, file transfer, unattended session and many more.
Nachteile
The product is so much flexible to use as I can use my mobile phone to do remote assist but sometimes using mobile feature is not very stable.

Very solid Remote Assistance service!
Vorteile
I really like how easy it is to simply invite or just send a link to a user for them to connect to a remote session. I also like being able to see the admin approval boxes when they pop up. Very solid product!
Nachteile
I do wish there was an easier way to see both monitors at the same time in a remote session. You can see them, but you have to switch between them.

Thorough remote support assistant
Its been very useful with 2 IT team members covering 270 staff across 4 sites and remote working. Saves tickets getting piled up and also reduces site visits.
Vorteile
Easy to setup and use from an admin/tech point of view. More importantly its very simple for staff to get a connection and immediate support. we use this in conjunction with MS Teams so can video call which Zoho Assist also uses.
Nachteile
Haven't used it long enough to find anything we don't particularly like.

Basic, simple Remote Tool Support
Having trialed Zoho Assist we found that in our group it's a worthy alternative to the other remote support tools. I would recommend it t small-medium based companies looking for a budget-friendly support tool.
Vorteile
Very straightforward, we use this tool as a back up for external remote support. When all else fails a simple link to send get the end user back up and running.
The tool offers a very simple interface and basic features that for most tech admins and end users suffice for the work needed in remote support.
Nachteile
The reboot and reconnect feature doesn't always work.
Would be nice to have a direct download app with 'code' connection.
Quality of connection can lag compared to higher tier assist programs.

We tried to use the application for years without it meeting our expectations.

The system was easy to customize and worked well for outgoing communication.
Nachteile
The application did not work to improve communication between team members. Communication had to come from outside of the app, which defeated the purpose of using the app to track progress.

Awesome Product
Vorteile
I need to connect the users of our company remotely during this Covid-19 Pandemic and working on Microsoft Teams and another screen sharing software (Anydesk, Teamviewer) is not easy where you don't get seamless access to the Users screen and perform all jobs. Even if I restart the system remotely it reconnects within no time depending on laptop performance. I recommend it to everyone.
Nachteile
I have Not Observed any cons to date. The users tell that it needs to download the software every time we connect, but it's common with all remote software as it contains the new session details, and a fresh download is needed.

Session recording on cloud with adjustable quality & session logging is a very good feature.

Control factor is slightly limited , I was not able to add allow prompt for selective unattended users .For this I have to select emote support or enable this for all users.

Upon purchasing, I didn't know that unattended access was a possibility. For the cost over the year, it was well worth the purchase.

Another fine Zoho tool
I enjoyed it, and again the fact that it was integrated with my spiceworks portal was nice
Vorteile
What I like most about it, is that the free version integrates with Spiceworks and it has a aesthetically pleasing GUI.
Nachteile
It is difficult to justify the pricing for the features when you compare to other competitors products.

Very similar to Bomgar minus the extreme price
remote support without relying on the functionality of a preinstalled clientside hook
Vorteile
i just set it up and was able to do a remote session with an overseas user no issues with UAC interaction

i have not ran into any issues yet , i will update the review in the future if i have any issues

Zoho Assist
It is a reliable and useful product.
Vorteile
Cheaper than the leading brands of remote support products, it is a reliable and useful product. Multiplatform, you can give support to mobile devices (iOS, Android). One of my most used functions is the ability to see the client's screen, and with just one click client can see your screen.
Nachteile
Sometimes clients get confused and download more than once the application, instead of automatically starting if you already have the downloaded application.

This tool has saved our bacon
Vorteile
Setup was minimal, required very little time/effort, which meant we were able to start using it right away.
Nachteile
It would be nice to have more information when connecting to a remote client, about what their experience will be, so we can provide prompts on the phone "click this, then this will happen", that sort of thing. Some indication as to when they've clicked the link in the email as well, would be really useful.
