Zoho Assist Review
We have been happily using the product for years. It offers a good mix of immediate support and unattended access. The tool set is quite extensive and very useful. We just wish the connection to remote support was easier for the end user.
Vorteile
Tools available to the tech. Once connected, easy usage. Unattended access is excellent.
Nachteile
End user interaction. It is too difficult to achieve a connection with the limited knowledge of the client. IE: too many clicks needed to connect. Connection sometimes doesn’t go through due to video issues. Cost is getting prohibitive. Other solutions (Anydesk) are more economical and officeing the same tools with an easier connection process.

I’ve been a subscriber since the beginning and have tried many remote desktop tools, including VNC, Bomgar, LogMeIn, TeamViewer, GoToMyPC, and Rescue. Zoho Assist stands out as the best for its reliability and feature set. I’ve referred several clients to Zoho Assist and helped set up their accounts, and it has consistently delivered great results. It’s an excellent tool for IT professionals managing multiple businesses.

Zoho Assist for the Remote Access Win!
I have recommended Zoho Assist to several of my colleagues. The ability to remote connect and have paperwork available to other team members is crucial and ZA makes that happen.
Vorteile
Zoho Assist has been a "work from anywhere" life saver for me. Their reliable remote access is top notch. Prior to ZA, I was using a service that was hit or miss in being able to establish a secure, remote connection. I'm not a techie or a repair person. This is purely a convenience for me to be able to work from anywhere and still be able to connect to our computers at the office. And I gladly pay the renewal fee every year.
Nachteile
My con is not so much at Zoho Assist but rather the way computer software developers are hiding the Wake on Lan. ZA is reliable for remote access, especially if no one is on the other end of the computer but getting the correct settings to toggle the computer awake for remote access is definitely a software issue.

Assist initial impressions.
Overall the experience has been positive. Zoho Assist has provided the flexibility required to support our staff no matter the device they are utilizing.
Vorteile
The ability to support our staff no matter what platform they are using. I have run remote support sessions to Windows desktops, Android Phones/Tablets, and iPhones.
Nachteile
The inability to integrate external password management solutions such as Bitwarden, Keeper, Nordpass, Proton Pass, or LastPass. Also, the inability to add custom tools to be run such as PowerShell or Python Scripts.

Zoho Assist Unattend Access is a Game Changer
Using Zoho Assist Unattended Access has made our operations so much easier. The few times we needed to reach out to Zoho for assistance, they were easy to work with and responsive.
Vorteile
It allows our team to easily manage our vineyard irrigation control system remotely, so that we can address issues or make schedule changes easily from anywhere at any time.
Nachteile
We did have an intermittent issue where our master pc lost connection to the Zoho services periodically, but that issue was resolved by a firmware update from Zoho.

Zoho Assist is awesome.
I stopped using "Team Viewer" and just use the Zoho for everything.
Vorteile
Easy to use without the end user having to install a program. They let you use it free too. You have nothing to lose.
Nachteile
I have no cons. I liked all the features. I've used Team Viewer and I like zoho more. Plus they let me try it free so it sold itself.

Zoho Assist review after 2 years
I have been using Zoho Assist for approx 2 years now for both business and personal. While the multiple steps to initiate may be a challenge for my 80 year old mother-In-Law, she is able to follow the steps required. My customers, on the other hand, see this as a feature that gives them multiple opportunities to decide whether or not they want to allow access.
As for using the Remote Desktop connection, I have had not issues what so ever - even when my customer's computer is on a limited speed internet connection.
I'm very happy with the value I get from Zoho Assist... (Yeah - I know it sounds like an ad, but I'm in industrial instrumentation sales, and this is the way I talk.... :-)

Ease of use and reasonable price. My customers (and in laws) have all felt very comfortable with the multiple levels of security that ensure that they are actively giving me permission to connect to their computers.

I really have no complaints... Multiple steps to initiate connection.

Zoho is easy to use and powerful for remote assisting clients.
Easy to use remote help application which I can use form any desktop and Android mobile device. I guess I keep repeating that it is "easy," and the price very reasonable. I have used Teamviewer and Remote desktop, but keep reverting back to Zoho.

My 20 years experience of remote acces software.
I have been using Splashtop, Teamviewer, Logmein and VNC. For the pass 20 years as tools for remote access to my customers' computers. It's been a few months with Zoho Assist and the switch seem to be my next solution.
Vorteile
#1 The wide range of devices compatibility. (Linux & Android) are not always there on other solution out there. #2 The quality of the connection and option for me to control them. #3 The ease of the installation for my costumers, #4 Support from Zoho in ANY of their app is better than any I have seen.(Call, email & Chat).
Nachteile
#1Compare to other, the main page is not very intuitive. Lots of poking around before finding where everything is.#2 Lots of unused option remain there even if I don't have access to them. #3 Some menu seems redundant and could easily be merged into one.#4 The Zoho apps have ONE information in common in all of them "CONTACT INFORMATION" and yet in all of Zoho app there is no standard among them, regarding contact information. There is not even a Contact app to manage that common information about all Zoho tools.

Great value as long as your clients have solid internet
Our team switched to Zoho Assist after several years with Team Viewer, looking at a more price competitive option. We connect to clients that sometimes have very slow internet, and this was the biggest shortcoming. The tools and connection were great with stable internet! While it does not require connection codes which can be great, it required clients to redownload the assist software every time and this could get confusing for less technologically inclined clients. Overall a good option if your client base has strong internet.

Works well with decent internet, Integrates well with the Zoho Suite, easy to set up unattended access, somewhat easy for clients - no connection codes required.
Nachteile
Requires a stronger internet connection than competitors, requires a download every time you wish to connect.

Zoho Assist - Great Product!
Everything has been great. Support has been wonderful and it is very easy to connect and use. I'm very happy and will definitely be purchasing a monthly subscription.
Vorteile
I liked how easy it was to connect to a remote computer using Zoho Assist and that I don't require a password on the remote computer to access remotely. This was required by a previous program I had used and it was awful because if there was a disconnect the password would reset and I couldn't access remotely.

Nothing so far. I haven't had any issues that make me dislike the program.

How to not break the bank with remote assistance.
Zoho has been great, it functions as a tool that I don't have to worry about and don't feel I'm being gouged
Vorteile
The cost to feature/function ratio is great. There are lot of features found in comparable more expensive solutions but available at a much more budget friendly package. The interface is intuitive and simple to navigate and understand vs other more costly solutions.
Nachteile
Unattended agents sometimes go offline for short periods of time after intense troubleshooting sessions that require multiple reboots, connect, disconnects.

We have been very happy with the overall experience. The software is well-designed and we have never had any technical issues and have never had to contact Zoho technical support. That is a real plus for us.
Vorteile
Very easy to implement and use for our environment. Especially like the web based interface. More features than we use in our small office to be honest. Overall great dollar to product value.
Nachteile
Our remote customers are unfamiliar with the Zoho name and are sometimes hesitant to connect. We have to assure them that this is a legit piece of software to allay their fears. Not really a big deal, tho.

Good Deal with Better Pricing than Similar Services
The overall experience was positive. I am looking forward to continuing to use the service.
Vorteile
It was easy and quick for the remote customer and me to get going. I signed up and was able to assist our remote internal customer in a matter of minutes. I like that I was able to get started with a trial. After a trial, the right thing to do is to purchase at least once if it meets our needs.
Nachteile
I liked everything about it so far. During my first session, I did not need to use UAC; therefore, I will check for that capability. Some services that cost much more will not approve UAC prompts.

Value for money
Before trying out Zoho Assist, i was using another product until one fine day some critical problem on their server knocked it out for a few hours.
i have used Zoho Assist for a few days now and it feels almost like it is not there. This is really difficult to achieve for most of the in-your-face software packages available in the market. Once you connect to a remote client, it is as if you are working on your own computer.
This is the perfect remote assistance software.
Vorteile
* browser-based entirely. you don't have to install another software to provide assistance.
* Super smooth connectivity
* easy on pockets
* translates keys-strokes between platforms (i use it from my linux to connect to a remote Mac, and i don't have to bother about translating my, for example, CTRL + S to CMD + S to save my files.
* does not bother with constant ads or purchase requests
Nachteile
Cons are a little difficult to find. If i have to be really picky, i would probably say it is the default graphics quality of the remote client that is streamed.
But then, remote desktop/assistance is not supposed to be used for multimedia entertainment.
And again, it is configurable in the settings, so it is not a bother.

I've been using the unattended mode for a couple of years and before that the free session version. Overall it is simple to use and has a nice set of tools.
Vorteile
Stable, easy to deploy. nice set of remote tools (cmd, powershell, file transfer, services, local users, etc.) in addition to an awesome remote control interface all from a web based interface. There is also a software install if you don't want to use a web interface. It's basically the same, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use the web interface.
Nachteile
The web interface where it lists the devices needs some simple things added.
Such as sortable columns. Currently you can only sort on the device name column. It would also be nice to be able add additional columns such as os build, model, serial number etc.

Excellent tool for small IT consulting companies.
My experience has been great. Easy to buy, easy to use, cost effective and does exactly what is advertised. I think it's one of the most flexible out there and really has suited my needs for many years.
Vorteile
Cost effective, completely cross platform, ability to have adhoc service events as well as planned. Very easy to have end users install through a link or email. The main reason for me to use Zoho Assist was the flexibility for unlimited adhoc sessions. I do consulting, and not so much of routine managed services. Other tools pushed me to buy seat licenses and more than I needed. Zoho fit perfectly.
Nachteile
Sometimes people with aggressive ad-blockers or some content filtering tools don't like the Zoho domain, but it's easy enough to work around through a standard email link.

Overall very positive and a refreshing change from Teamviewer which we had used for a few years.

Occasional issues with unattended support when using a mobile phone. Would also like to be able to upgrade number of additional unattended seats ourselves rather than having to email support as can be a delay in fulfilment.

Streamline Work with Temporary Remote Session Applications
Excellent, clean user interface. Excellent for file transfer, software debugging and updates. The voice feature is a welcome addition

Simple interface, No resident program required, a small temporary program is installed to initiate the remote session and gets removed once the session is concluded—no worries about the availability of a particular software at the user end.
Nachteile
The chat window is rather small and needs the flexibility to adjust the window size for convenient chat with users.
It should also have a facility to send the URL link to mobiles and emails. Sometimes emails get delayed due to network issues and you do not get it on time.

Great Product for beginners or old timers to use for remote IT support
I use this product to support my family and friends. I am their computer tech guy and they live all over the east coast. This is th best product by far for remote support i have found and i used to use Team Viewer. It seems evertime google comes out with a product it is better than the competition by far and they did not miss the mark with this. This allows me access to any machine unattended or not, so i can perform maintan3nce tasks, or emergency fixes. I have been using this product for over 4 years to support family, friends ,and customers alike and it is by far the most stable robust product I have ever used.

Awesome Remote Assistance App
Overall my experience has been positive. The application itself is fairly stright forward. Remote requests were quite easy to set up when a client asked me for help. Setting up unattended access was a snap and really helps me look after my clients.
Vorteile
Although there is a desktop interface Zoho is mostly a web based application and that makes is wasy to use everywhere. I am often on the road and need to connecto to my client's computers so using a web based connection just makes things easier.
Nachteile

Just simple easy to use support software
Using Zoho Assist has been a transformative experience for our IT support operations. managing and troubleshooting IT issues remotely is crucial for our business continuity. Zoho Assist has consistently delivered in this regard.

I have been using Zoho Assist for several months now, and I can confidently say it has significantly streamlined our remote support operations. As a CTO for a large retail client base, managing IT issues across multiple locations can be quite challenging. Zoho Assist has been a game-changer in this regard.
Nachteile
While Zoho Assist is highly efficient and user-friendly, the only drawback we've encountered is the occasional latency during remote sessions. Although rare, these instances can slightly hinder the speed of troubleshooting. However, this minor issue doesn't overshadow the overall reliability and effectiveness of the platform

Impressed with the tool
One of the most impressive aspects of Zoho Assist is its quick implementation. It takes only a few minutes to get it up and running. The installation process is streamlined as we used Intune to push it out to all devices. This rapid deployment means that our business can start benefiting from remote support capabilities without any significant downtime or disruption from moving away from Teamviewer.
Vorteile
Sessions are stable, with minimal lag, ensuring that support tasks can be carried out efficiently. We liked the ability to file transfer, screen sharing, and chat, which enhance the overall support experience. Especially when users are having issues with Teams etc where the normal modes of communication don't work.
Nachteile
Occasionally we don't get a connection to the end user first time. This is usually due to the device needing a reboot.

Excelente programa para conexion remota.

Siento que le falta la posibilidad de poner Alias a los equipos en Acceso desatendido, para poder identificarlos mejor, y la posibilidad de poder copiar y pegar archivos entre equipo cliente y equipo del tecnico, eso ya lo vi en otros programas.

Zoho assist, a fantastic option for remote help!
Positive. I’ve been using Zoho Assist for a while now, and it’s honestly been a huge help for our business! As an HVAC company with users spread out across different areas, I often need to troubleshoot and manage remote systems, and Zoho Assist has made that so much easier. The unattended access feature is a game-changer—it lets me handle issues and do maintenance even when the user isn't around, saving me a ton of time.
The security features are rock solid, too. With encryption and multi-factor authentication, I know our data is safe. Plus, the fact that I can use it across different platforms is a huge bonus.
One of the best parts is how simple it is to use. The real-time chat and screen-sharing features make working with clients super smooth, especially when I use a an app like FaceTime or Team to compliment the experience.
Overall, Zoho Assist has really helped us step up our game, making our work more efficient. If you’re looking for a reliable, secure remote access tool, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!

Zoho Assist is my go-to for helping my customers
I have used it many times to help people with a variety of tech issues. I like that I can do session notes so I can keep track of what I have done with the customer. It is fairly easy to guide people with little or no tech experience to get connected. Then once I am connected it is very easy to do whatever needs to be done.

The thing I like most is that it just works seamlessly every single time.
Nachteile
The initial setup of a connection is a little confusing for some of my customers but most times we are able to work through it.

Excellent experience all around I have also been using their mail service with a custom domain and been happy with that as well.

A "No Fuss" Solution To Our Remote Needs
I have been in consulting for over 30 years and have almost always worked on the technical side of supporting customers. In my years of doing this kind of work I have had to rely on many different types of remote connections. Zoho Assist is by far the easiest and most reliable connection method I have used, all while still being secure.
Vorteile
Working in a consulting practice that consistently needs access to customer systems requires remote access software that is secure, uncomplicated and just works. We have subscriptions to other remote software for those few cases where the customers have a required method of access but Zoho Assist is the primary go-to product for our systems engineer group.
In the past, we often had to manage multiple VPN connections with multiple profiles to be able to access the systems we help maintain. That is not an ideal solution since there are issues with some VPN installations being incompatible with other VPN software and just the length of time it takes to port all those connections to a new machine when you upgrade hardware. While we do still use VPN connections for some customers, most times we can use Zoho Assist as an alternative.
The interface for Zoho Assist is uncomplicated and easy to navigate both for the person initiating the remote session and the end user enabling the remote access. The unattended access is just as simple with a very easy deployment link working for most of the system we need to access.
There are other products with more features on the market but we have found that we seldom use the additional features and the price point for those "bells and whistles" tend to be much higher than what we pay for Zoho Assist.
Nachteile
I have no real complaints about Zoho Assist. It is a solution that is simple to use and the price point for the feature set you get is very reasonable.

Just how remote support software should be.
I've used Zoho Assist for years with literally zero problems connecting. It has all the features and functionality that I need at a fantastic price.
Vorteile
Zoho Assist has everything I need to connect to my clients securely and remotely. It has multifactor authentication built in and is web based so I can access it from anywhere. Connecting is always fast even on slower networks, my phone or tablets. The unattended access feature is perfect for those devices I know I'll need to connect to regularly.
Nachteile
The interface for swapping between multiple screens is a little slow to react but since Zoho Assist seems to be regularly rolling out feature updates I expect this to be resolved in the future. I'd also love to see a URL shortener to give to people over the phone when I'm trying to get connected to them.

Zoho Assist - Great to use
We've had a really good experience with Zoho Assist so far. It was easy to deploy, it's very easy to use, and requires no effort on the end user.
Vorteile
It's simplicity. We can use on demand support, which is super easy for an end user to use, or unattended access. We deployed this through Intune and now we can connect to all machines without needing the end user to be present.
We also used the free trial to make sure we were happy with the product and the salesperson was always quick to respond to questions.
Nachteile
That you need to be on an enterprise license to use the portal features.

En general una muy buena experiencia, tanto a nosotros como tecnicos, como con nuestros clientes, superior a otras soluciones de asistencia ya que unido a zoho desk, nos permite tener la informacion a la mano de todas nuestras atenciones.

Facilidad de uso, los clientes no tienes inconvenientes para conectarse, se puede personalizar la forma de conectarse a los equipos desatendidos.
En general a sido una muy buena solucion para la asistencia remota.
Nachteile
No he tenido mayores dificultadades, quizas que solo se puedan tomar 4 sesiones con cada usuario.

An amazing tool to help your business get more done and troubleshoot remotely when troubles...
I couldn't be happier with how well this tool has help me be more efficient and be able to not only get more done but to help those on my team in a moments notice from where ever I might be.
Vorteile
I love the simplicity if setup and the ability to remote in and help team members anytime they run into trouble. I also love accessing my main work machine from my mobile devices and lower-powered machines. It also allows me to carry less licenses for some software titles so I can keep it on my main work machine and remote access that to get work done.
Nachteile
The only trouble I've run into I think is related to the machines I've been running them on and that's when my lower-powered machines start to bog down because they are dated and have lower system resources sometimes I drop my connection but it's an easy reconnect and I'm back up and running.

I was using teamviewer for years and just struggling to connect quickly and securely. My colleague showed me Zoho assist and immediately knew this was what I needed to be using. I use it for multiple clients and have it on dozens of machines. It connects quickly and securely and doesn’t drop out. Love using Zoho Assist.

A Fabulous Remote Access & Support Solution
The software and the ease with which I can use it to provide multiple services to my clients means I have had a very positive experience using Zoho Assist and recently renewed my annual subscription as a result.
Vorteile
Ease of setup, ease of implementation, ease of use, quick and smooth connections, boosts client confidence, allows multiple clients to be serviced remotely thus saving on travel.
Nachteile
Thus far (just over 1 year in) I have not experienced a single downside to Zoho Assist.
