It supports multiple business area like Finance, Logistics etc. It also supports various AI scenarios. Its functionalities can be extended using Business Technology Platform extensibility.

Nachteile

Customers has very less control over the periodic updates on S/4HANA cloud. SAP delivers the upgrade as per its release schedule.

The mass amount of data storage and customizable options to ensure procurement processes are running well and the in depth view of inventory management from all levels PR, PO, GRN, Goods Issued, etc. It is a great product to track your businesses success.

Nachteile

Can be a bit laggy at times. This is to be expected with ERP software processing large volumes of data.

SAP HANA, or Netweaver over HANA DB (HDB) is a step into the future. Before this concept of in-memory computing and memory storage (without reading the disk all the time), some reports took very long to load. Now you can get access to a larger piece of data in seconds. HANA also brings BW to another level of real time reporting, even detailed information can be shown in no time, its very fast. The way we build views by using the HANA Modeler is very simple but yet powerful, you can do a lot with little knowledge and much more with some expertise.

Nachteile

The tools used to work with HANA are both the HANA Studio or Eclipse with SAP HANA plugins. In my opinion, it could be better than it is; with more components, less bugs (you have to restart the environment every once in a while) and a better explanation about how the aggregation you see has been formed (Simpler than PlanViz).

I am using SAP since 2012. The best part of SAP is it keeps all the information and readymade audit trail is available. I personally like the ease of getting information via different T-codes, specially if you have access to Tables then you can download all the possible information. I have used this for FI, CO, MM & Purchasing module. The best part is that you can download all the to txt/xls format for further analysis.

Nachteile

SAP is very complex system and user training is very critical. The biggest issue we faced after SAP implementation is that if the trained user leaves and we have to train another user.

Even though I only really used it as a CRM I could tell that I was only scratching the surface of its capabilities. So the number one thing I liked about it was having everything under the one roof. It seemed to be relatively easy to navigate and pick up considering the plethora of options and buttons.

The look and feel reminded me of the old minesweeper game on windows 3.1. I could tell that the business put in a lot of work to customize this package however there were a number of kinks and workaround which didn't make sense.

It was slightly better than SAP 3 or whatever the native desktop app we switched from was. It has okay customization options so you can remove some unused buttons, but that was the only improvement.

I honestly dread hearing that we are taking on a new client that uses SAP. Sure, SAP can be a powerful tool and has a lot of features, but it is too overwhelming. You need a weeklong course to just understand the basics of this program. Every function (and there are SO MANY) is not clearly labeled, instead using some alpha-numeric code (VL02, MIGO, etc), or a title that doesn't really match what it is you are trying to do. I've never used a program that takes so many button clicks to accomplish simple tasks like printing a Bill of Lading. The UI is extremely outdated.

The best thing about it is just how integrated it is. We really needed a system where we didn't have to sync a dozen different tools together to run our operations, and S/4HANA has been a lifesaver in that regard. SAP is practical and sustainable as it reduces the need of numerous paper work and one is able to track sales orders from the past if a customer decides to repeat the same sales order.

I feel SAP needs to work on notifying users on changes made by the administrator. This causes a lot of confusion especially when sales orders are completed only to find that a customer changed their production order. In large manufacturing facilities, the production team barely gets the time to follow up on past sales orders.

Mon équipe et moi même l'utilisons au quotidien, les avantages sont principalement liés au fait qu'il permet à la fois de faire des workflows de validation et la comptabilité.Le niveau de cotrôle est relativement élevé dans la mesure ou le logiciel est complètement sécurisé.De nombreux automatismes permettent d'augmenter la productivité. A titre d'exemple je peux importer des matrices directement dans ma compta, ce qui nous fait gagner un temps précieux.

Nachteile

Le logiciel est très complet, mais certaines taches spécifiques liées à notre business ne sont pas disponibles, il faut donc faire du spécifique en passant par des modules qui sont payants. Ces modules additionnels ne sont pas toujours budgétés, donc il vaut mieux les prévoir à l'avance.

Billing, Invoicing and payment processing feature is very helpful.4. Bank reconciliation preparation.5. General Ledger code for each line item.6. Different reports can be obtained using different Tcodes.7. Very detailed reporting is available.8. Preparation of budgets for the entity.9. Uploading of budget into the system and intra company budget transfers.
