Vorteile

I was able to onboard Nifty and get started within an hour of signing up. The workflow and design make it very easy to use for experienced Project Managers and even those just getting started with project management.

Nachteile

I haven't found any roadblocks as yet. Possibly deciding on how to structure your projects could be a sticking point. There is the all in one approach of putting everything in one project but it might mean having multiple administrators or making multiple projects based on function within the same portfolio. I recommend the first option for smaller projects and the second for much larger projects with multiple project administrators and users.

Nifty has a better value per feature per price point. I can easily scale up or down depending on the project workload. Having that flexibility is important as no project lasts forever, every project is a bit different and every project requires different resources.

Time tracking that is integrated with team/client chat with Zoom integrated is our favourite features, The rest is very similar to what you would find on other PM competitors. We also love that we can create Gdocs right inside the app.

Nachteile

The iPad app sucks, I know there are plans this year to specifically address that, but currently, it's just what you see on the iPhone. In the next week, there will be a push for an iPad version, but their new experience may not roll out until the end of 2020.

The other major issue that is beyond their control, but the comments from Asana when you import everything doesn't transfer, and the setup or structure also doesn't import. SO each time, it resets your structure if you are transitioning over.

We use google as our email, document creation back-end. We needed a collaboration/document management solution for our team. Nifty was one of the few that really incorporated all of the critical features we needed without adding additional 3rd party applications.

Nachteile

I rather dislike that the community support forum is on Facebook. Facebook is a productivity hindrance and intrusive and we do not like steering folks there during their workday. Creating templates for setting up new projects is not as strong as in other products we reviewed.

8. The mobile app is really nice , I was able to use the chat while travelling.

Nachteile

These are few of things we didnt like
1. No integartion with Gitlab yet.
2. The zoom call feature is pretty useless ebcasue it is nto native yet basically you just geta link to join . Initially I found it buggy.
3. The templates should have preview option , also I would liek to have templates around OKR's
4. Chat within the Projects is sometimes confusing , also discussion on any pertitcualr task .. If a log is provided for teh same it would be easier to follow..
5. If we can access Gdrive files directly from nifty it woudl be nice.

I liked that the software was easy to navigate and was budget friendly for our developing company. We can easily transfer our projects to Nifty and use their features to track projects, tasks, and our users. The Milestone and time tracking features are important to us as we run systematic product development and also have some employees that are paid hourly for their work. Nifty makes it easy to track their time and export their time log. Nifty is also integrated with Google Drives, so we can complete all our tasks within Nifty on a Google Doc.

Nachteile

The only features that Nifty does not offer in the plan we went with is automations and overview. This would have been nice to view all of our projects at once and to automate tasks once completed.

Nifty has been great to use because the learning curve isn't as steep as other tools I've used. Since most of my projects take on the same format, it's been great to make templates of projects to get them off the ground smoothly

While the learning curve is not steep I did end up hiring someone for me to get the most out of it. I am not an organized person so I would like more ready-made templates to choose from.

The interface is easy to use and learn quickly. You can use the basic features or customize as needed for your particular workflow. You can view tasks and project in multiple views - from basic tasks lists to calendars to gantt charts.

Enter manual time is a bit cumbersome...takes 3-4 clicks.

Nifty is an intuitive and easy to set up software. It has powerful features, but doesn't get caught up in too much complexity that it becomes chaotic and hard to navigate. It was easy for our team to understand and learn.

Nachteile

Some of the logic for making adjustments to projects can require a few changes, like needing to extend a milestone when a related task has been delayed. This generally keeps us more organized but can feel inflexible at times.

So easy to collaborate with my team, set automated tasks, follow up with team members all in one place, automate workflows, etc.

I wish there was a setting where regular users wouldn't see notifications on other tasks from other people within the same project. I want them to only see their notifications. Also I want a setting that allows them to only see their tasks within a project if I enable it on certain projects.

We used a number of rather simple tools like trello and a messenging application. None of them had all the things we wanted and if they did they had MUCH MUCH more than we would want and charged MUCH MUCH more. Nifty has had all the features we were using other services for. Tasks, project milestones, discussion, guest users, channels, integrations to tools we use - particularly git repos have all meet our needs. If you use a free version of trello for project management and are looking for something better without adding way more than you need this is a perfect fit.

Nachteile

It is a little less developed than other tools out there - still growing. Updates and improvements are made quickly and the nifty team and support are great at listening to feedback.

You may want something like zapier to integrate other items.

Grazie alla creazione di vari progetti, all'inclusione di membri del team ma anche di "ospiti" che possono lavorare a singoli progetti, oggi riesco ad avere una panoramica delle cose da fare.

L'unico incoveniente finora riscontrato è con l'assistenza. Due volte contattata, due volte non ha risolto il mio problema, né in fin dei conti risposto alla mia domanda, lasciando le cose in sospeso.

I appreciated that this software was web based so that I could log on to my computer OR through the app and communicate in a timely manner. I really loved that the entire editing team could see the advancement of the project in one place and I loved the ease of document storage and sharing. In addition, I loved that I could see the identity of the team members assigned to the project.

Nachteile

I was not very confident in the ability of a team member to see my "comments" or notes on a past conversation. In all fairness, I am not sure how the message shows up to the other members, as no one left me a comment on a past comment so I do not know how it is received but it didn't feel very efficient or evident.

Before Nifty we used PivotalTracker. It was a mess. Engineers were duplicating tasks, QA didn't know what was ready for test, and my fellow department heads had no idea what was being released or when it was being released. Then we got Nifty, and everyone had clear visibility to their tasks, deadlines, and what needed to be done. Department heads and partners could plan releases efficiently. It was like everything just started working like it was supposed to. If you build and ship software. You need Nifty to manage your projects.

Sprint velocity needs to be improved a bit, but it is on their road map. However, its current version of tracking user story points is better than Jira.

As a designer Nifty is very useful to share our creatives and also same for downloading the artwork. User interface of the Nifty is very user-friendly. we easily understand how to use and time saving for us at the same time.

Nifty has a great user interface that is lightning-fast, meaning I don't have to wait for data to load like I do in other apps. It is also very user-friendly, as all the tasks, task data, projects, etc., are easy to access and navigate. It is set up in an intuitive way that makes it easy to understand, and if you have used another project management app, the transition is minimal.

Honestly, I haven’t found anything I disliked about Nifty, but if you have a lot of tasks, the calendar views can become disorganized.

The UI is simple, beautiful and it includes a dark mode.
I like that you have a homepage for each project where you can see all the assets of the project and how the project is going.
Projects are divided into 3 levels: Project > Milestones > Tasks. Milestones are great because you can divide the project and then focus on accomplishing those milestones that will lead you to finish the project.
You also have a workload timeline for checking if you have empty people or someone is overloaded.

Nachteile

Even if it's really solid, nothing is perfect, so here some points that would help to improve it:
- Adding a "help" icon/button in each task/subtask would be fantastic. We could link that button to our own documentation. That documentation would explain the process of how to accomplish that task.
That's especially useful for letting new employees how to accomplish something without needed to micromanaging them and also for not so usual tasks where forgetting details is easy.
- Emojis are cool, but please add gifs to the chat.
- Add task groups and task templates, not only project templates. That would give us more flexibility
- Need an easier way to go back to the projects tab from settings. I haven't found the way of doing it, so I need to go to my main URL into the browser tab. Maybe I'm missing something, but if it's that way it's annoying.
- Zoom integration is cool, but there are better options out there. Webhooks for integrating it with Integromat and our desired service would be the best.

Working and communicating with our fiscal sponsor is much easier now. Now we don't have to search through emails to find communications or wonder about the status of a project. And we're able to communicate across departments within out fiscal sponsor without accidentally leaving critical parties out of the conversation.

Nachteile

There is a learning curve for some. And at times the Discussion tab becomes unwieldy with a lot of cross-conversation. It would be nice to not have to see conversations I'm not tagged in.

I enjoy Appsumo products because they are cheaper and lifelong. The kinks I had with Nifty did cause me to switch to another alternative and I am now with Clickup and Asana.

It helps me keep up to date. It also helps keep me informed when a new task is added. Adding my own work also allows my peers to see the amount of work I have.

It's a great tool to use, so no issues.

Nifty is easy to use. The way that it is set up with tasks, files, docs and discussion is brilliant. My team took to it like ducks to water, and new team members find their way quickly.

It even allows me to simply a project for a new team member, to introduce them to complexities as they go.

Nifty is great, and they are working hard. They are not yet what I'd consider mature. Their built-in docs leave a lot to be desired. Their milestone templating doesn't exist, and copying tasks doesn't work as well as it could, sadly.

I am product designer (PD) working on a side app project with a friend. As a PD I have worked with so many different types of Project Management Tools, and found Nifty to be very easy to use right out of the box so to speak and the overall dashboard and UI are more intuitive than other management tools I have used.

Nachteile

I am just starting out with Nifty so at the moment I am enjoying the app and haven't found anything to be a headache or anything. If maybe a suggestion. Be awesome to have some sort of Figma Plugin where I can manage a design tasks in Figma. Just a random thought.

Lots of glitches, search function is terrible, clients find the project documents not great for using.

Nifty has enabled us to move forward faster with more clarity, helping us meet deadlines with ease. An awesome feature is Nifty documents and files, which serve as a central hub of our content and document collaboration. There are many useful and practical features that are designed to make us more effective and efficient with managing our projects. We also like the fact that we can set milestones and the overview section is fantastic for tracking each project, its progress, and time frames. Another pro is the ability to import projects/ documents etc. from other apps, such as Trello and Asana.

Nachteile

We can't say we don't like anything in particular about Nifty! Perhaps the onboarding process could be improved slightly to give more in-app information (the platform uses tooltips) on navigating the software and how to explore all its features (because there is a myriad of awesome ones to explore!). There are links to external documents, but it would enhance the UX if more navigation is provided in-app. While intuitive to use (with an awesome UI that you can customize), the onboarding experience can be maximized to ensure users can get set up faster and start being productive. But

The app is glitchy, both on PC and on the mobile. Any action takes a bit of time. Sometimes there are severe glitches, like when the whole discussion boards become inaccessible. Document writing is not as flexible as it could've been. Reaction emojis randomly disappear sometimes.
