Vorteile

We choose Livestorm because it is so easy to use and what is most important: Attendees don't have to install any software on their computers to join a webinar. They can simply join via a common browser. The helpdocs are really helpful and I haven't experienced such a good support before.

Nachteile

At first we struggled with some screen sharing issues but thanks to the great support everything is solved now.

There is room for improvement. Sometimes the software does not record presentations and the video quality (like recorded webinars) needs to be improved for sure.

Attendees don't have to install software on their computer to attend our live classes. They can listen in from their cell or tablet if they're away from their computer. It's easy for us to use. Settings are saved from one event to another. Very flexible. The recording is clean and quickly available for download. The reports are detailed and helpful.

I there were a connection between our WooCommerce store and Livestorm without Zapier; otherwise, it's perfect.

Vorteile

We have used Livestorm for both internal and external webinars as well as use with clients. Overall it has been highly effective and easy to use. The browser compatibility is a big plus when the market for software is so competitive, the easy to use email system makes it much easier for all team members to run events, and the data analytics available are a big plus. Moreover, on the few occasions that they are required, the support team are always excellent.

Initially there were difficulties in securing mobile access for mobile users, particularly guest speakers.

What I like the most: auto recording of the sessions and sending this automatically to the attendees, pre-recorded and automitization for communication plan before the sessions with reminders, live polls for interactivity, look and feel of the platform (user friendly)

Nachteile

Some user features are not that handy: to change your webinar slot you need to go into your webinar and into specific settings, that could be more easy to change.
On top, some technical issues on my side to share my .ppt presentation when I had only one screen.

When the COVID-19 crisis hit, we needed to find a solution to run an already scheduled webinar after our original choice no longer became an option. Livestorm was selected to run this webinar, and quickly became our go-to platform for the larger scale presenter-led events. The simplicity of use with Livestorm has been a real plus. Whenever implementing new systems, you don't want to have to be spending time learning how to use. Livestorm is really quick to pick up and show others how to use.

Nachteile

The system not working for presenters who usually use Edge/Explorer has proved challenging. We ask everyone to make sure they have Chrome already installed, but with many companies having IT security processes in place, it's not always easy to get installed in time for the event.

It's not often a problem, but having a limit of 1000 attending an event has caused a few headaches.

Livestorm was easy to use both for the team and our customers. We liked the features and how it was possible to personalize it.

We had some difficulties to understand the list of participants after our presentation. The link to watch the replay was not available for the one who have participated to the presentation.

- Can only have 6 people on the webinar stage
- Limited design options and having certain features be compulsory (ex: mandatory filter color on banner image)
- Can only share 1 media file at a time. Would like to have multiple media files open and be able to switch between PDF to video to pdf
- Only being able to have one administrator who can edit the webinars

Vorteile

I've loved the ease of preparing a webinar; the high quality of communications toward invitees and the quality of sound and video.
Not yet tried but also integration with CRM software is a very great feature

A very starting plan for solopreneurs or small business that don't need, at least not immediately, 100 live attendees

Good quality downstream presentations. without the connectivity problems we've experienced with Team Viewer and Go To Meeting.

I believe part of the improved quality is down to the presentation being received only as there is no video or audio back from the delegates taking up bandwidth. Delegates can type-in questions via a Chat box which works well.

Nachteile

The interface is not immediately intuative - trying to find which 'room' to do the things you needs does not at first pass seem to make sense. However, once established, like any piece of software once familiar the issues disappear.

For me, it is an end-to-end product that does not rely on downloading an app (web-browser based), complicated registration widgets and offers great analytics. The team offer a great, interactive live demo each week which gives great insights and offers you the opportunity to ask direct questions to the creators of the platform.

Hand up feature like zoom would be great.

We really liked the ease of using this software. It has everything we actually needed - separate chat and Q&A tabs, enough 'places' for speakers, ease of sharing & showing media, ease of importing paid participants through Zapier.

Nachteile

The maximum of participants (atendees) is too small. It seems that soon we will outgrow the platform so we will have to search for new one. None of the other platforms seem as great as this one.

I love the ease of use and the overall functionality. I especially like the fact that they pulled our branding from outside sources so I didn't have to create registration pages from scratch. It was very seamless to get up and running.

Nachteile

The only caveat that I see at this point is when I shared my screen, but was still viewing the webinar controls, I got this "Inception" effect. Like a picture, within a picture, within a picture, and so on. It only happens when I am on the control viewer and showing my screen.

I find it very easy and intuitive to use.
You have nearly everything you want in options (designing the invitation, landing page, ...) and automation before and after an event on the platform so you can manage everything from here.
I recommend watching the introduction video as it gives you a great overview of the features.

I loved the fact that in less than a hour I was ready to stream a webinar, thanks to the simplicity of this tool, very intuitive e well explained in the tutorial. Compared to others I tried in the past, it's definitely better.

Livestorm was an ideal platform for our organisation as it does not require our attendees to download any additional software. It allows us to have full control of the webinars and it is very easy to customize.

Nachteile

It would be handy to improve the squares of each presenter alongside presentations. As the presentation can take of the whole screen it minimizes out speakers quite a bit.

Very well designed, intuitive UI, that's super easy to use. The ability to share a company page with a list of up-coming events is a really nice touch and the overall customization/branding options are great.

Nachteile

Only downside is the lack of ability to invite team members to host their own webinars on your account.

Simple, yet powerful webinar software that allows you to set up automated and personalised email journeys to participate. Very easy to understand which options affect which part of the webinar setup. Webinar experience itself is outstanding.

Nachteile

Manual email invite features is a little barebones and not as fleshed out as the automated journey. Shared media is not recorded unless you activate an opt-in beta, however, service was fast and great.

I love the ease in setting up webinars. I also like the ability to quickly send emails from the paltform.

Not the product, but some end users... block the emails.

That it takes care of subscriptions of users, analytics, ... Livestorm sends our users automatically mails that they can add the time slot to their calendar. An hour before it reminds them, and 5 minutes before to go to the webinar also that it sends the recording to everybody. (show ups and no shows)

Nachteile

I do have some small hick ups in the webinar experience when using the beta HD feature. But the team responds well and helps me quickly.

Great plug and play webinar solution that has meant we could easily start rolling out webinars in our business without too much time investment. Pleased with how reliable it is and how much is sorted out of the box.

Integrations are still pretty limited. Some challenges like enabling the option for multiple people to join from one link and also have multi-webinar events.

Le principal point faible est la mauvaise lisibilité de la disponibilité de plusieurs sessions pour un même événement. Les clients ne voient pas les différentes sessions disponibles et ne s'inscrivent donc pas faute d'horaire compatible avec leurs agendas.
Nous sommes donc contraints de créer un événement distinct pour chaque horaire ce qui prend plus de temps.

Webinars can be set up very easily and with just a few clicks you can make a single webinar a multi-session series. In combination with template-able emails, admin in the background is kept at a minimum level.

We using it with German end users, translation is not entirely optimal there.

It's really easy to interact with our members while hosting live streams. It's also easy to set up registration pages and share them.

Nachteile

The setup and controls for notification emails is complex and just overall kind of confusing. It's good to have the option, but it's kind of clunky right now.

I love most things about this software. It's user-friendly, customizable, it has all of the features most other software offer, including chat, question and poll tabs and recordings. You can have more than one presenter on stage at the same time and it is easy to move on and off stage. One of the best features to me is the attendance analysis - better than any I've seen. They can accommodate up to 1000 attendees (at an additional cost).

Nachteile

It is expensive, especially compared to other software, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. There are some issues with emails bouncing or email addresses that are blocked by the system. They can accommodate up to 1000 attendees, which is more than most other software, but for large conferences it's a deal breaker.

I've tried out several different webinar softwares but this was by far the easiest to use: very intuitive back-end, good looking layouts for e-mails and registration page, all mobile optimized. Customers service is very helpful and they have done some changes on the go based on my requests.

Nachteile

I have only missed couple of features and they both are related to scheduling e-mails: would be great to have little bit more agile scheduling properties (also based on dates and times, not just event-related possibilities) and possibility to schedule e-mails for on-demand viewers based on their viewing status.

Sometimes it's not as easy as the way I want it to be. There are issues in the page and cannot be verified.

The ease of use for all roles is fantastic. The learning curve is small and the software is intuitive. Any questions we've had are answered clearly in the knowledge-base and customer service is very thorough in their responses. We feel very taken care of.

I'd like the integrations with other softwares to be a bit mote robust, but believe these are things that are on the drafting board.
