Vorteile

I love that I can login from anywhere I have internet connection and from any computer; not tied to having a specific laptop with it loaded on since it's web based. I also love that I can see both my computer monitors on my desk computer when I login remotely. This is very important for me to be able to do my job efficiently.

Nachteile

One time it while trying to remote connect, it said the computer was "offline" but it was not. Nor was my internet down. I was trying out Remote PC, while sitting right-next to my desktop and using my laptop to remote in to test it. Connection from my desktop to my laptop should have worked, since all the software seemed to be indicating it should work and my internet was running. After several attempts at connect I gave up. I tried 3 hours later and it worked. Might have been an issue with the RemotePC software?

Vorteile

Software is simple to use. I never have an issue that logging out and logging back in doesn't solve.

Nachteile

It would be nice not to have to update the always on access each time I login or logout.

I’ve used 5-7 other remote assistance tools. This one was easy to setup, worked reliably and was very easy to use, even helping people internationally.

Nachteile

I don’t have any cons yet, but I wish I had heard about this software sooner.

Light and clean User interface with basic controls available on the fly.

Nachteile

There could be more keyboard or mouse control options. That are optimised for mobile usage as not everyone has huge screen sizes.

I love the fact that I can access my main computer in my office from anywhere in the world on my laptop. It streamlines all my needs. It also allows my [sensitive content hidden] to work without having conflicting information.

The web version didn't work on my cruise. I needed to download the program. It wasn't an issue after that.

Having tried several alternatives like Teamviewer and Chrome/Google Remote Desktop on a cross-platform estate (Linux OSX, Windows) This actually worked with the latest versions of everything. It does so also really well over low latency 4G

The Desktop apps look a bit dated is about the worst thing I've found so far

It works infrequently and randomly. Usual best is Connect, Authenticate, End Session. Then RemotePC Ends Session on its own without opening remote control page. To be fair, maybe 1/20 it may.

Nachteile

Only need simplest remote control features across different systems for benchmarking. Won't really work even in one building across two floors and one simple intranet.

RemotePC has tons of features. This is one of the reasons we like it. Not only can we provide remote support, but we can also record that remote session and use it later on if we need to refer back to it. We can provide support from just about any internet-connected device, including iPhones and Android devices.

Nachteile

The only con, if you can call it that, is the fact that so many features take time to learn. But once we realized the potential of the different features, and started implementing them, it started becoming easier and easier to learn them and put them to use.

We were pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to deploy this software to all of our users when we had to switch to a remotely operated work environment. Even people who weren't pro computer users, were able to easily login and start controlling their work PCs at home.

Nachteile

If there was a drawback, I would say the speed, but this is the problem with all remote desktop softwares. With RemotePC, you can at lease control it in a way so that you can slightly reduce the visual quality if you need the boost of speed.

First of all, the app looks very simple to use, second , pricing absolutely best on all internet. For a small company paying lost of money to Team Viewer, or Anydesk is like a load on your back. For small company it is a little here and a little there and at the end the overheads eats you. We have Remote PC since 10 days and my helpers now can work from home if needed and we found out it WORKS OK!

I do not know yet, we haven,t had anything yet to complain about.

I like how easy this product is to use. I like how easy it was to set up and gain access to the computers I need access to.

Nachteile

I wish it was easier to downgrade plans without having to set up a new login. I tried out the free trial but did not need that large of a plan to start off our small firm with. When I went to purchase the plan I had to set up a new login with a different email to be able to get the plan I needed because it was only giving me the options for the 2 large business plans.

I would say that RemotePC is one of the easiest remote software out there to use. I can log in from my phone and work right off one of the computers with ease.

Nachteile

I would say the only downside for me is if my computer is asleep it needs to be awoken in order to log into it.

Easy Connections and a full screen to the connected computer. Also the layout of Icons is the same as if I was on the connected computer.

Price: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition. I previously used another program (ZOHO Assist) but was looking for something better, but also cheaper if possible. RemotePC is cheaper, especially since I got the special discount for getting a 2-year subscription.Audio chat:I use RemotePC to hop onto computers of friends and family to help them fix things and troubleshoot. The video chat functionality is extra cool as we can can video or audio chat while I help them fix things on their computer.Good connection:I have fibre optic internet but the people I help remotely often have pretty terrible internet and yet it works perfectly.

Nachteile

A minor thing but I don't need the video aspect of Video chat, I just use it to chat to the person I am helping by voice. A simple audio chat feature would be cool.

More than one user can logon to the same terminal so that's a plus for training or simply seeing what the other is seeing.

Nachteile

A little buggy. Sometimes the resolution gets changed and you have to adjust. Other times it literally prevents you from logging into a user and you have to reboot.

RemotePC gives me the ability to have attended and/or unattended access to client machines (Mac or PC). This is so helpful as I don't have to spend time traveling to a client and I can work late at night or early in the morning.

Nachteile

Nothing that I've seen yet. It's super simple and does what it should; allows remote access to machines.

RemotePC checks a lot of boxes. It is very easy to install and use, reliable, fast, and very reasonably priced.

No Linux client yet. But I can understand the limited use case for this.

The ease of setup and deployment. We purchased this at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak and this product allowed us to effectively move our employees home to work and still maintain the security of our data since it never left our network.

There are times that the network connection to the PC they are remoting to will get slow responses and also the occasional host viewer app crashes, but a restart always resolves the issue.

I was looking for a system that would allow me to remotely connect to a home-based PC from wherever I happened to be working. The home system is behind a standard cable modem with a dynamic IP. This software handles all the translations and updates for me, allowing me to connect from anywhere I am to my home system and work remotely.

While file transfer between host and client is pretty straightforward, there doesn't seem to be any clipboard synchronization at this point.

This software works when TeamViewer and Google Remote Desktop don't. Recently I was on a trip and I was unable to connect to my work computer via TeamViwer. It said Couldn't establish connection. Then I tried Google Remote Desktop. It worked for a day but the next day it said that I have no Internet connection (I had a good connection). Then I found RemotePC via Google search and with the help of my colleague at work installed it on my PC. It worked flawlessly!

Nachteile

If you click on Buy button on their web page, you will buy a 10-computer annual license. I did that, though I only needed to access 1 computer. There should be a clear message of what you're buying.

So easy to set up. It took just a couple of minutes to sign up and add a computer. Adding additional computers just took a few minutes as well. RemotePC is so easy to use. It has all the functionality that I was accustom to from another well known product. The competitive pricing is also a great plus!

I have yet to find anything that I am unhappy with. If in the future I find something, I will be happy to update my review to reflect my findings.

I use this for remote access to a Mac at church to setup songs and sermon for worship. This allows me to do it on my time and is exactly what I was looking for.

Nachteile

Reasonably priced but free for one person would have been nice.

It is extremely important for my team to be able to access a non-cloud based application on a host computer. RemotePC was easy to set up and easy to use. The cost is negligible, compared to competitors.

Printer access and file transfer was a little complicated; especially in the application versus website access.

None that I can think of in all the years of using it. It's all satisfactory for my simple use.
