Good balance of Features and Cost
Overall, Setmore has provided a reasonable calendar for me for several years. There are some features that would be desirable and would make the functions even better, but the calendar provides an acceptable cost-benefit relation.
Vorteile
Setmore offers a HiPAA compliant calendar format. SMS reminders are customizable and sent out before appointments. Payments can be entered and accepted right from the appointment detail window. Labels can be added to appointments to alert of client status (e., new client, running late, completed, etc). Some reports are possible.
Nachteile
I cannot select to send emails AND SMS messages for reminders. Payments have to be entered manually (no setup to accept a stripe or chip reader.) List of labels is not editable and custom labels, although possible, need to be re-entered for every occasion. Reports are limited and not customizable.

Much cheaper than industry apps
I am super pleased that I could use this program over many other industrial programs and the cost was a fraction of what the others cost, so it's a big win!
Vorteile
I loved that it was cheap and still accomplished all the tasks I needed for scheduling and reminders. I really liked the smooth transition from my other program to this and I love that it's super easy and can be used on any of my devices. I also love that it works with our website and social media pages.
Nachteile
Sometimes it's a little glitchy and will delete appointments or add them. Sometimes the program also has issues with sending reminders when it's supposed to.

Extraordinarily good
Love it - it keeps my business running smoothly

Setmore is easy to set up and tailor to the needs of the business. I wanted to be able to colour code my appointment types, and have found a way to do that with the excellent support team. I don’t use all of the functions but what I do use is really impressive
Nachteile
There’s nothing to dislike as far as I can see - the only thing I would like to see is a function to record on a client record if they have cancelled or not turned up, without having to leave the appointment on the system. I would like to be able to open up the slot but keep a record that the patient cancelled

LOVE Setmore..but
I have tried other's and have come back to Ashmore!!

The ease. Not too many p ages to flip through. We sto p ped using setmore and paid for more expensive ones... only because doesnt quite cover our needs. But i came back to setmore when weighing up pro & cons

I ideally need more photo space. And to be able to view photo bigger. I would also like better reporting. We have now got square so I'll see i f that makes reporting better.
Also staff get to access client info, it would be good if they just saw their schedule ,& not able to change it and not see $ .

Vorteile
I use Setmore daily to ensure clients receive appointment notifications and reminders for appointments. Clients have come to rely on this service. They also like to be able to make their appointments online without waiting for me to be available to help them. I have been able to personalise the features for my business and maintenance and development are easy. On the rare occasion that I can't work out what to do, the online support is quick and efficient.
I would be lost without this product. I am a one-person business with a small turnover. It's perfect for me.
Nachteile
As I receive this service free, some options are not available to me. But I am not complaining.

It's easy for me to look at my working week through the Setmore software.
Nachteile
1. To work with it through the app and the smartphone is a bit of a mess for me. I can't break the spaces I blocked so people wouldn't book themselves. If I want to book someone at that same time from the road with the app, it's impossible. I have to wait until I'm near the computer again.
2. I work alone but go to different cities on different days of the week. So I put the cities as staff.
It confuses my clients a bit until they get used to it.
I need to have different options for different places, to keep the order of my being in every city they want to book themselves.

More appointments - less missed opportunities!
Setmore is super easy to use, and allows appointments to be set quickly. I like that they send out text or e-mail reminders. That keeps everyone on time - including me!
Vorteile
Like every small business owner I wear many hats. The one that was the hardest to wear was answering calls and setting appointments in a timely manner. After all, you can't work the business and create the business at the same time! So, I started using a virtual answering service that introduced me to Setmore. Since I started using Setmore in April and it has been a game changer for me, with more set appointments and less missed opportunities! Very easy to get started and lots of customer support. Super easy to see my schedules, and I like how fast they are filling up!! My Patients find it easy to use as well, and like the appointment reminders.
Nachteile
Even at 7 months, I have not enabled all of the features that Setmore offers. Probably just user learning curve issues - lol!!

Been looking for this for years
Vorteile
This product allows us to effectively coordinate our daily service schedules, send them to our techs real time, include notes, edit and adjust in real time, differentiate appointment types by color and by a label which shows on the calendar. We have a permanent record of customer history that is easy to access. It is the perfect solution for my pest control company. It has even more features that we don't use but will implement in the future.
Nachteile
I wish we could assign multiple techs to the same big job and I wish we had a larger color palette for coding services offered. Those are minor needs when compared to ALL of the features we get.

Free to use appoint scheduler.
This is a very useful piece of software which helps us make our appointment really painless and automated. This also eliminates the possibility of double booking client and save us a lot of unnecessary hassle.
As a production house, we are very happy using this software. We are also considering to add this feature on our website and working with our developer.

As a media production house, we need to keep a track of all our tasks and booking days so we don't overbook. With the help of this software from setmore, we can provide the customer with their dates very transparently. I highly recommend this piece of software to use and get benefit from it.
We are thinking to add this on our website so the user can also book and schedule their own appointment automatically.
I am impressed with its followup email capability and take payment at the time of reserving. This also helps me to ask them for fees and remind them of their appointment.

When I was filling up the scheduling form, the timing section is really confusing. I think they should give us the flexibility to set up the time in hours.

Setmore use in Scheduling
Setmore has made it easy to update our staff with their appointments. Changes made in the main office are visible instantly to them in the field via the mobile app.

It has very robust features even in the free to use option. You can easily schedule and edit appointments, search for customers, and there is even a free mobile app.

Service with a smile
I will now be able to book appointments with my clients when they click a button on my website, when I text them a link to my booking page, offer that link in social media, and email it to anyone wishing to meet with me. This is awesome.
Vorteile
Upon trying out Setmore for the first time, I began experimenting with features and setting up my schedule. Very quickly I was met with a chat by a friendly "Hello". Every time I came upon something I had a question about, another assistant chimed in to say Hi. I ended up asking questions as I came upon them, then was already accustomed to using the chat by the time I asked a few questions on my own. Relevant articles were suggested, direct answers were given. I am discovering, with all this help how powerful and simple this app is. Also, since I am getting really fast response, I am more efficient using the app. I intend to integrate it with my website.
Nachteile
I sincerely cannot think of a negative aspect to Setmore.

Almost There
Overall, the app is great! I use it mainly as a digital back up for my pen and paper appointment book. It is convenient to send reminders once everyone is in the system. I do not use it for payments yet, but may try it in the future.
Vorteile
Form all the scheduling apps that I tried, Setmore is the friendliest to use. The UI is good, easy to navigate, and visually pleasing.
Nachteile
I have some issues with text reminders. The default reminders are set to a format where date and time of the appointment are listed backwards. I am assuming that it is the UK format but there should be a way to change the default text even in a free version. Another improvement that can be made is for the app to simply take the phone numbers from the existing contact list on my phone instead of me entering client's phone number into the app with each new client. I end up entering them twice; once into my contact list and then again into the contact list of Setmore. An option to scan the contact list would be great. I would also suggest the addition of another color scheme for the app. It's a bit bland for my taste.

Changes
It keeps me on track with all of my appointments and the appointments for my team. I just love all of the reminders. It makes me look so professional.

I absolutely love this program. It keeps me on track and I don't have to worry about reminding my clients about their appointments. My associates can schedule an appointment with ease and check my schedule for availability for training in the field.
Nachteile
The reminders should be personalized. One should be able to set reminders so that the customer can call the person that actually sets the appointment with them if he/she has to cancel or reschedule. Right now they can only call the phone number of the administrator of the account. If the client loses the associate's number there is no other way to contact them.

The ability to set & send automatic notices (to us & the client) of appointments made, appointment reminders, rescheduled appointments, and cancellations is incredibly valuable for our needs. Setmore has taken customer service to another level, in a good way! The "chat" icon is the best! It's like a Setmore customer service rep is hanging out, ready to help. Whereas many company's bombard you with constant emails about everything, Setmore discreetly shares useful tips, new features, and important announcements through the tiny chat icon present on your screen. To help their clients during the COVID-19 crisis, they announced and released FREE tools for social distancing while working. Including a video conferencing tool. All FREE. It doesn't get much better than that!

Scheduling your clients on the go, or in the salon. On your phone/ tablet or PC. Use for one, or use with a team of stylists. The client can pay through the site also. Easily block time off for breaks or days off.

Great for the beauty industry, easy for us to use and easy for clients, much more reasonably priced than other scheduling software.
Nachteile
Need to be able to automatically schedule clients more than every 4 weeks. Some clients want to come every 5-6 weeks. But your options only go to 4 weeks for automatic scheduling. We need to be able to require a deposit from clients. Have a spot where they can pay a deposit to hold their appointment.

I love it!
When I first discovered it I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and what a prefect fit it was for my business. You can pay to upgrade some functionality but I've been fine with the free version.

It's good overall
Well, if we didn't have Setmore we could always use Outlook in some form but we wouldn't get the updates part of it that I like.
Vorteile
It's reliable, it saves automatically. I like that it gives you updates on what people have done to the appointments since I'm not the only one that uses it to book. You can see when an appointment was canceled or confirmed or just running late.
Nachteile
That when you click any part of the screen even if it's a gray area on your calendar, it thinks you want to enter an appointment when all you want to do is exit from another one. Another think I don't like is that Mondays come first on the calendar on the top of the screen. I wish you could change it to a normal calendar with Sunday first.

A perfect fit!
I love using the Setmore Calendar app! I’ve been using the app for more than two years now and it has completely transformed my business… Before I was using this calendar app I used to constantly have struggles with scheduling appointments and having clients cancel or having double bookings. Setmore for small business
Frustrating, lack of confidence, irritating. Do recognize eventually when they are at fault and will financial compensate. When it works it's great BUT all to regularly it doesn't work and can impact the bottom line of your business. They are not financially compensating for that, just your subscription fee

They ha ve recredited my account for the failure of the service meeting the agreement I paid for. When you insist on being escalated. You will eventually get through to an English speak who can fully understand the nuisances of the language. There by getting "what is" and being able to provide customer service.
Nachteile
Setmore online calendar is slow, restricting and inflexible on phones. It is most flexible through the google calendar BUT that connection of syncing between Setmore and Google calendar continuously breaks down. I had to wait 2weeks to get the fix done. It has continuously failed over the past 11months of subscription, and adversely affected my business. The first tier of customer service support do not have English as their primary language, and a substantial amount of frustrating time can be spent speaking at cross purposes. Thereby failing to resolve anything. All customer support contact is through texting

Brilliant app without having to buy the premium version
Setmore is a brilliant booking system, it's one of the few free versions that I have used which offers many features without having to upgrade.
The customer support is excellent.
Vorteile
You can access your diary from any device.
Clients can make their own bookings.
It sends confirmation of bookings.
Saves all of the client info & history.
Nachteile
You can't create multiple service bookings for a client unless the client books from our bookings page.
You can't create a buffer time per booking instead of per service, this can accumulate when booking multiple services.
The app often doesn't show all the bookings that have been made.
The online version has a tab that says today on the calander but when you change the date it doesn't change from today to 'Tuesday' for example.
You can't type to search for a service when using the online version but you can on the app.
If we decide to open on a certain day during peak season we can't just book that specific day without allowing bookings when we have time off or changing our business hours.
We can't book time off for multiple staff members at once, it needs to be done individually.

Recommended improvements
We are in the healthcare sector and allowing patients the ease of making appointments for consultation helps to improve our company image. I'm still setting up the project before providing user training at my centre.
Vorteile
The text messaging feature and prompt customer support.
Nachteile
I did not enjoy using the feature to set up break time which was not smooth because if i have more than a break time each day, I would need to set the end time before setting the start time (for break time). Otherwise an error will appear. Appointfix app does a good job on that.
What I like LEAST is that the off time does not have any visual que on the desktop or mobile app calendar view. Customers would click on the off-time days just to find out that there is actually no slot available. Best just put a mark to tell customers 'don't bother clicking because there isn't going to be any slot available".
Other things that I hope can be incorporated in future includes:
1. Option to send birthday greetings (super nice way to reconnect with customers to make them feel that they are remembered) Allow us to customize those messages so we can tell them stuff such as "getting birthday rebates".
2. More options for payment methods. Add option to connect to providers of E-wallets and direct online banking. Do that and you'll be a hit.

what I like least about product is the basic reporting option, I feel it should keep totals for tax reporting purposes... and mailed to you at end of the year,, that would really be great if you all add a service like that.

Using Setmore
Appointments and allowing my clients to book in advance
Overal i am very happy and if the small niggles could be sorted i would most definetly go for the full premium version in the future
Vorteile
As a sole business owner i needed a quick easy and preferably for the moment free appointment scheduler that could allow me to sync with Google and my Google Business page and in Setmore for the time being i found all that.
Nachteile
The ability to change more of the appointment page with custom backgrounds or at least color schemes that more closely ressemble my own webpage.
The fact that for example Spanish adresses are not implemented as provinces are not correctly displayed which gets comments from visitors I am in Cadiz Province and not Andalucia which is not a province
The limited space available and fact that if you add anything in the ABout us box you lose the Google map picture and pin which for me is crucial

I am really happy with the program except for that one drawback with the recurring appointments; that drawback is very significant and the only things that makes me keep other programs on the horizon and switching programs a possibility in the future.
Vorteile
It is very helpful in saving time with scheduling clients. I like how it enables clients to access and modify their schedules, and how it provides real time availability.
Nachteile
The recurring appointments does not allow the client to modify their schedule, which is VERY inconvenient for me as my clients come for 6 months at a time at a regular weekly time, but of course the occassion will arise where they might have a conflict on a given date. It is VERY time-consuming and wastes a lot of my office's time to have to input them in one at a time for 6 months, but I have to give my clients that option.

TERRIBLE Customer Service

Nothing has been worth the hassle. There are so many options in this area that so would encourage you to explore other ones. The first time you have a problem with Setmore, you'll see why.
Nachteile
Absolutely terrible customer service and I'm being charged YEARS after I quit the service. Today I called early in the day and got disconnected with no call-back. Then I called again and spoke to a woman who said she'd pass the message on but wasn't able to give me an estimated time frame on when I'd hear back from the right department. Currently, I'm chatting with their online support and the guy has literally ghosted me. I'm at the point of disputing the charge with my credit card company and reporting Setmore to the BBB.
I had actually thought of signing up again at one point but my Login no longer worked. Set more provided no help in resetting my login information to allow me access to their product again

Easy to use appointment setting software!
Setmore is one of the most affordable appointment scheduling software programs we've encountered. This makes it ideal for tight budgets, but at the expense of extravagant benefits.
On the one hand, the suite includes everything a small business or freelancer would want, such as limitless appointments and a customer self-booking portal. However, there are no useful reporting or analytical tools for tracking your company's growth over time. Furthermore, internal collaboration capabilities such as messaging and team meetings are lacking.

Practical and user friendly
Vorteile
Very practical and user friendly. Easy to set up.
Nachteile
There is nothing I do not like about Set more. That is why I stick with them for over 4 years now I believe.
There is only one thing I which there will be a feature where I can block someone from booking appointment with me either by email address or telephone number the person provided since the very first booking.
This is just my personal point of view from using online booking software for quite sometime. I do have people who booked but did not show up or there are people I wish not to trade my service to, that I wish there is a way to screen them out.

Simple to setup, easy to use appointment taking apps for educational institute.
For a simple and easy appointment application it workes no doubt great. When I tried to customize it has not that many ways which are really fine for a new user like me. Using cash is another big problem solved. I highly recommend you to check setmore out and see for your self what it can do.

A simple but powerful appointment system for my educational institute. After registering it is easy to set up my web page and start accepting an appointment from students. As I don't see any payment gateway nither stripe nor square workes for India, I have to settle for cash option. The predefine a time slot is a great option. I just have to add Saturday half day timing to it and all scheduling is done. The page is not that modern looking but it does do the job.
Nachteile
No individual payment gateway can be configurable. The design is based on a template which has fewer things to configure. Sometimes the time slot is not loading and showing a blank screen.

Brilliant System - glad i found it. has taken so much work off me and saved me so much time
love it . it taken so much work off me and loads of less stress i used to run 5 diffeent calanders this allowed me to run everything through one system i love it . will be a long term customer 100% so glad i found this system before any other - one of my friends has a different system and his isn't as good as this

We Really Enjoy SetMore
We truly enjoy using Setmore and having the chat option for help when we need to reach out.
Vorteile
SetMore helps us have a way to let all of our families know via email and text message when they have an appointment. It also allows us to keep up with those who have missed an appointment for the month.
Nachteile
Not a con, but we do repeat our customers monthly and it would be nice to be able to click on a customer and print off a monthly sheet of their appointment on a physical calendar.

Great scheduling app
Easy to schedule, great customer service, I have no complaints other than what I said in the previous question.
Vorteile
Its user friendly, you can change it to your preferred layout, I can send messages from the app, I can also check it on my desktop, and it's saved in the cloud so I dont have to worry about losing the information.
Nachteile
Sometimes it doesn't load all of the clients and I have to refresh it to make sure its correct. However that seems to be happening a lot less lately so I'm guessing you guys are working on that.

Good for managing appointments
Setmore has been a very valuable tool for managing our private physical therapy practice and made booking new appointments for clients very easy.
Vorteile
Setmore application is available not in your computer but in the app store too, so you could easily use it from your smart devices.

Setmore: My electronic diary
Very good, makes my life easier.
Vorteile
I can book appointments electronically from my computer and mobile. Patients can book appointments for themselves as well. Different services are displayed & one can choose from various options. Very important: text reminders are send.
Nachteile
I had problems to download the mobile version of my diary. It kept trying to create a new diary. I had to contact Setmore support after struggling many hours. I don't want to watch video's or information sheets, but prefer direct help from the support desk. I would like to transfer data to Dropbox as a storage/back up option.

Concerns
I've been disappointed. I tried to do my research as I selected a booking service to use and I'm afraid I may have made the wrong choice. I hope that my issues will be resolved soon and that I won't feel the need to switch to another site.
Vorteile
I like the way it looks. It's super clean! I also like the way I can integrate it into my website. And sync with my Google calendar.
Nachteile
There have been HUGE glitches happening lately, that I've been in touch with support about but that have not been resolved. For example:
- I have blocks in my schedule that appear available on my calendar and yet are not visible to my clients (and I cannot book an appt there either).
- Events that were previously cancelled and do not appear on my calendar still end up sending Reminder Emails (and still show up on my Google calendar). These are typically the blocks that also do not show up as available as I mentioned above.
- Sometimes the "Notes" section does not appear on the reminder emails, but most of the time it does.

I really love Setmore! It does what it's supposed to do with a few surprising perks!
Overall, it's exactly what I need at a rate I can afford.
Vorteile
I was having a difficult time choosing between Setmore & Calendly. The integration (easy) to my social media accounts, free trial with ability to sell on free account, and great instant customer service made them the winner. It's a great tool overall and they make it so easy and friendly to use. I also love that I can put different images in to represent my lifestyle course one on one calls!
Nachteile
The need to create multiple staff members in my account to set a different schedule/day for a service. It would be easier to simply be able to adjust or customize the calendar slot (open and close days) straight from the product itself.
It's mostly all good though. I'm new and haven't found any real issues here in Setmore.
