Do not waste your time and money.
Vorteile
Front end looks pretty. Sales team is helpful in getting you signed up. Lots of deals to entice you to sign up for that year long package. It does actually link your inventory when everything is working properly.
Nachteile
Support. There is none. Sure they have live chat, a call system that will call you back so you don't have to wait on hold, and email help. But the majority of the time no one can actually help you solve your issue. A lot of "we're looking into that" and "I'll let our tech team know" or "browser was your customer using when they were unable to checkout?". Support is terrible.
Cart overselling. Not one, not twice, but 3x cart oversold in the first 7 months of using this POS with web store. They can't tell you why, or fix it, or offer any help. They will ask you what browser your customers were using though.
Orders not downloading from web store so you are actually aware that there is an order waiting to be shipped, as well as the inventory not updating.
Very small maximum # of characters in product descriptions that can display on web store. Hopefully your product photos speak for themselves because no room for in depth explanations, videos, etc.
Email response time. Generally about 3 days. Seriously.
The ridiculous amount of time it took to get the web store to go live and then the week I spent on the phone/live chat/email with support to try and correct issues to that people could actually check out.
The fact that you can't do the same things on the iPad app POS that you can if you're running the POS through your laptop. I can't discount a single product in the app, and discount applies to every product in the sale. Not annoying at all.

The ideal POS for cycling retail
When Brompton Bicycle was looking for a POS system, we needed something with robust features, simple employee interface, powerful management/analytics tools, and a global presence to support our growing international network. Lightspeed was the ideal choice as they offer a retail centric platform that makes selling easy for staff and provide powerful analytics, accounting, and payment extensions that make the remote management of multi locations much easier. We especially enjoy the vendor integrations within the cycling industry as well as bicycle service modules which are non-existant in other POS offerings. We also heavily utilize the automated reporting functions through Lightspeed Analytics. Combine all that with a cloud/app based interface and you get a system that can be up and running in a matter of days for a very easy to swallow price tag. When you need support - you have a dedicated account manager and responsive tech team ready to make it happen. I'd recommend Lightspeed over any other POS solution for cycling retail.

Lightspeed POS
Customer service was so helpful and quick to respond. We have enjoyed lightspeed for over a year now and I still learning new reports that are helpful in running by business. Reaching our customers on a personal level has never been easier. We are able to see their spending patterns and reach out to those we are in danger of losing.
Vorteile
I love how easily I can track inventory, sales, and customer data in real time. So much information that we never had access to before.
Nachteile
The transition from old software to this new one was difficult in the beginning but now I can’t imagine ever going back to the old way of doing things.

Great Customer Service and Caring make this the best POS platform
We are a small retail store that is able to track customers, sales, inventory & profit with ease. And good reliable customer service is imperative with a POS system and Lightspeeds is pretty perfect.
Vorteile
It is compatible with Macs and thus user intuitive if there are problems their customer service is there to catch you with kind prompt service. The reports with Lightspeed Retail have helped us make changes that have improved our small Brick and Morter retail store.

It is expensive and a big financial commitment and yet worth it.

Big Time Lightspeed Fan
I own a pet supply retail store and grooming salon and have been using Lightspeed since 2015. Lightspeed has consistently exceeded my expectations and become an integral part of our operations. The customer service is amazing when we have questions or need guidance on any aspect of the system. The cloud-based retail system gives me visibility of sales, inventory, and reporting anywhere that I have internet access. I love the flexibility of Lightspeed as it offers a multitude of integrations and options for expanding programs to our customers. We use their gift card and customer loyalty integrations every day. Lightspeed Analytics are an add-on to the price of the standard POS but it's worth every penny! It's like having an analyst crunching numbers for you but for a fraction of the price. 100% recommend.

Finally Found the Right One!!
Best business decision I have made, especially the fact the POS and E-COMMERCE are run from the same system and data base. Paired with Lightspeed payments I now have a complete package all manageable in one system!
Vorteile
I struggled for two years with a POS designed for restaurants, poorly modified for retail. Inventory, discounts and sales became so much easier with Lightspeed. Integration with my existing hardware was seamless nd a big part of my decision to change.

The built in HELP software is out dated and the instructions are not clear due to the fact procedures and page set ups have changed

Always Improving & Adding New Features
I've been using Lightspeed Retail for my brick and mortar boutique, Fringe, for over three years now, and am loving it! Their inventory management options are robust and just what I need for a boutique. I love that Lightspeed just keeps growing and evolving to meet the needs of it's customers, and I have recently been in their BETA group for trying out their new integrated Lightspeed Payments. It's great to have the option to run payments directly with my POS system. I have also recently set up an e-Commerce site with Lightspeed. In considering a platform for my e-comm site, my number one concern was having integrated inventory management so my physical in store inventory would always match my online stock without having to make any manual adjustments, and I am very pleased that Lightspeed can offer this feature to help me streamline my business. I'm looking forward to the company's continued improvements and added features.

The best pos software
Great experience overall.
Vorteile
saves a lot of time, compared to a Maitre D and others. When I hire new staff they are ready to operate alone after half a day of training. Easy to set up menu, self explanatory. Easy to desing and customise your screen with your kind of operation, (I do table service and grab and go) Great updates, the sofware is getting smarter every couple of months. No heavy backstores and no crashes in 2 years. Custumer service is quik and efficient (called them only once in 2 years)
Nachteile
a bit pricy but would not go back to anything elese.

If you want to keep track of your inventory, do not get LS Cloud!

It does not appear that the designers have ever actually worked in the retail business. My biggest complaint is the lack of control in tracking inventory and the two biggest problems are:
1) It has no mechanism to either remove an item out of stock for internal use or for return to a vendor. The options to do so are either to manually adjust the quantity on hand, which means you have no visibility as to why stock has disappeared, or to can "sell" it to yourself, which gives you visibility as to movement, but now you have to adjust your sales reports to remove the fake sales.
2) If you have zero items on hand but attach that item to a sale, it will automatically add the item to inventory rather than recording a negative quantity. This is a problem for two reasons: the first is if an item was sold under the wrong SKU. The wrong SKU stills says zero on hand, but the correct one says you still have it in stock when it isn't. The second problem occurs if an item gets sold before it was received. LS automatically adds an item to complete the sale bringing the quantity on hand to zero, but then, when it gets received, the quantity on hand shows one. The correct solution is for the quantity to go negative, then when the item is received, it zeros out, or you can run a report of negative items so you find the ones that have been sold incorrectly.
Other issues I have is the lack of customizing for reports, they are all canned so I end up running multiple different reports to get the same information I used to get with one report in my old system. The system does not allow for part numbers instead using the product description to identify items. This makes searching for items more tedious, LS's presumption is that you will always have a scanner and a scannable tag on the item but just isn't the case in real life.

Great Company and Outstanding Product.

We run a one location bicycle sales and repair shop in NJ. For the past 10 years we used Microsoft Dynamics Point of Sale. Because Microsoft chose to exit the Point of Sale space, we needed to replace our system, with something that was flexible, cloud based, and expandable. Another key requirement was solid technical support 24-7, 365.
We looked at many systems and settled on Lightspeed. We converted our files and system a little over a year ago, over the Thanksgiving weekend, 2017.
I cannot begin to tell you how happy we have been. The conversion went as close to seamless as possible, the on boarding and continuing support is outstanding, and the product fits our needs beyond our expectations.
We have been using it now for over a year and are extremely happy with the product. In fact, we just persuaded our friend who operates a bait and tackle shop to also use Lightspeed.
We highly recommend Lightspeed.
Nachteile
If we had to pick one item that could a little work it would be the year end annual inventory module. There is no current capability to be able to scan all on hand inventory into the system and compare it against on hand computer balances.

Fairly clean interface. It's fine if it works.
Nachteile
The BIGGEST issue that Lightspeed retail has in reliability. Downtime has become a regular occurrence. For example, today is a Friday and there have been 2 MAJOR OUTAGES in one day. Ultimately, this results in a terrible customer experience and literally costs thousands of dollars over time.

Wouldn't Ever Use Anything Else
Vorteile
It's easy out of the box to understand. If you have any computer literacy, it's super easy to navigate. Onboarding team members is easy, special orders are a breeze. I love the back door integration to Mail Chimp.
Nachteile
There are a few glitches. When I update prices in a Purchase Order, they don't update in the original item which means my margins are slightly off.

“Turn Key” Is An Understatement
I have used Lightspeed POS for multiple business which consists of both single and multiple locations. The inventory integration and management is seamless and the ability to integrate applications through API calls seems endless. This is a super powerful tool that will remain to be my first “go to” consulting solution for years to come.

Vorteile
It looks good on the screen, the contrasting colors are easy on the eyes.
Nachteile
Lack of cross platform synchronization, the database has an inability to retain accurate information, the database deletes saved information, the larger your database gets the less functional the platform becomes, using the system via VPN only compounds any of the other platform related issues, the pre-paid orders will throw your sales reports out of of balance, and the reporting features are never complete.

Agree with others, Lightspeed want your money!! Subpar support!!

Vendor integration...when it works it works well to import Purchase orders and inventory counts. Helped keep service writing organized and efficient.
Nachteile
Instead of grandfathering my subscription rate, they pushed price hikes and tried to coerce us into yearly prepaid subscription plans to receive my old rate?? Seriously??
At one point their IT Infrastructure has experiencing widespread outages which affected us enormously (we were on the verge of leaving back then).
We signed up solely due to their Magento Integration, soon to find out they ditched it in favor of their own garbage eCommerce solution.
I think Lightspeed has the potential to be great, but their greed overshadows their implementations.
Their Merchant Partner Cayan is also a SCAM, subpar support, slow responses. Blah!

Easy to Use!
I have used this system for approximately 5 years and the team at LightSpeed have continually made improvements. I believe it is a super easy POS to use and the monthly rate makes sense as it is not residing on a single computer. I would recommend and have recommended this product to others.

Lightspeed is very user friendly. It is super easy to get your new employees trained on this POS. The system is easy to pick up. I also appreciate the ease of creating a purchase order in the system. I can't say enough about having cloud access with this POS system. I can work from anywhere! I use the reports and graphs a lot even though I work with an inventory management system. It seems to give me accurate information for future ordering
Nachteile
Inventory can be it's downfall. I have spoken with several different retailers and it is consistent about being inconsistent in running totals. I review it weekly just to make sure prior to ordering. I also don't like that the margin is incorrect! One must use a profit margin tool to make sure your markup is consistent with what it needs. Last thing that the system does not have is PO's by category or show inventory assets received in cost and retail. It only shows it in cost which can be cumbersome as our products have several different margins.

Great software! Practical and great customer-support!
Vorteile
Lightspeed POS and Ecommerce Software is very easy to navigate! While using the system on a daily basis, it is always fast and if any problems arise, their customer support is available 24/7. They have helped our store many times troubleshoot problems and they are sure to quickly problem solve and get things back to normal at a very fast pace. Lightspeed customer support is always very positive and friendly to speak with as well. We recommend this product to anyone looking for a POS or Ecommerce platform.

Nothing at this time. Lightspeed has been great and very helpful with anything we have needed and they answer any questions quickly!

Best in our industry
Lightspeed is an affordable system that manages most things very well. There are some tweaks we'd still like to see, but having a long history with them I know that in 1-5 years from now its going to be far better than it is today. They are constantly improving and making the platform better, with functionality their customers want to see.

We like the auto import with our vendors. It helps us import orders quick and easy.
We like the reports.
Nachteile
I wish the service function would allow you to see the schedule when you're creating a work order and want to put a promise date to it.

Ease of use. Customer service. Online help plus video training. Astounding quantity of catalogs available.
Omnichannel is the way to go. With one inventory for web and store sales, the need to manually adjust it is now gone! Less mistakes. Customer info, ordering, stock, fidelity and gift cards managed in the same interface is a time great saver. Ad the fact that you can access it from anywhere and you have a winning combo!
Nachteile
French customer service (my native language) while always available, has a response time quite a bit longer than the English counterpart.

LOVE Lightspeed
We used QuickBooks POS for years and when it was time to upgrade we went with REVEL based on their recommendation, NOT a good choice. The system didn't do many of the things that we had specifically asked for and was not a good transition for our retail shop. And so we began our research into a new POS system. We met with numerous vendors, asked tons of questions and finally had to bite the bullet and choose one. We picked LIghtspeed, and have not once regretted our decision. One of their biggest pluses is the help; there is a very easy to use help feature right on the site and if that doesn't answer your question a person is available by chat or phone. Lightspeed really seems to care if their users are happy; they take our recommendations of upgrades or fixes to the systems and they are always there to assist us. We really feel like we have a partner!
Vorteile
We were able to use the computers we already had. The help that is available right on the site or easily by contacting Lightspeed is wonderful. Easy to use.
Nachteile
The only thing I would say is that there are some features that would be nice, but can't really call it a Con since Lightspeed listens to its users and is always making upgrades and changes.

Lightspeed Retail POS
With Lightspeed's eCom we found the solution we were searching for. Real time updates and the ease to upload inventory is just amazing. We also needed an interface with Quickbooks accounting software. With the Quickbooks interface, we reduced daily accounting hours by almost 60%!
Vorteile
I like the flexibility of the POS software. As the General Manager and the one who chose the software, I was often contacted by an employee that needed help. As a cloud based software, I can log in with my Ipad, Laptop, or my phone to help them.
Their 24/7 helpline is amazing...Other software companies, especially those on the east coast that aren't 24/7 are a real pain to deal with on the west coast.
Nachteile
My only wish is that Lightspeed had a "Trade-In" tab to make trade-ins easier.

We Tried Them All: Vend, Shopify, HikePOS, NCR SIlver, Square, BigCommerce, ShopKeep, etc
Truly the best POS out there, they just get it.

As a nonprofit it's mandatory we are in compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles. We have complex inventory logistics with different locations which made finding a good solution, difficult at the very least. Truthfully, if Lightspeed didn't work we would have moved to a mainframe system. What's difficult about the POS systems is that you don't realize everything you need until you've invested so much time. It's either their inventory management, how they integrate with your online platform, how well they integrate with other programs (despite how much they assure you) or how clueless their support. From the beginning, we drilled down with Lightspeed and even refused to sign a year commitment because we were skeptical. But having been with the program now several months you will not regret starting with LightSpeed first or if you're looking for a better solution switching. Their support has a phone (which is rare) and is very well trained. The product really has excellent features that function as they are supposed to and the capacity to grow with you.
Nachteile
I wish we could have found them earlier, better marketing online would have saved us so much time, money and resources from getting drawn in from other POS systems that continued to come up short.

Customization for Automatic Reordering is Key
I absolutely love the POS for keeping up with inventory and setting up reordering points for my inventory. The systems office is really easy to use and easy to teach others. Customer service reps are always helpful and explain things very well.
Vorteile
The ability to customize each product as specifically as possible. Automatic reordering is the best feature. When you customize each item for a reorder point and inventory is kept up with properly, there is no more manually counting items to do your orders. The system does it for you! This is really important to me, because I have thousands of tiny pieces of jewelry and keeping up with counting every piece each I need to place an order can become quite tedious.
Nachteile
The page resets itself after selecting an item to set in the "matrix". When it comes to scrolling through a bunch of items, this can become time consuming.

Loving it
Very happy. Customer service is excellent. Wait times are minimal when help is needed. Inexpensive, easy, and fully integrated with Moneris.
Vorteile
Ease of use. Easy to train. Cloud based system makes bookkeeping super easy. Integration with moneris.
Nachteile
Bill splitting can be a little more intuitive. Would not let me edit labour hours once uploaded to cloud which I found weird. Some type of emergency offline back-up would be helpful as well.

Run...Run far far away!
It's not the people, really. Anyone you speak to are fabulous, however, the company ties their hands in what they can do. They have so many qualified and skilled people, but the company has focused on growing worldwide and not actually the logistics of knowing what their own policies and procedures are. Customer Support is constantly trying to put out fires and fix issues in Production instead of figuring all that out in the Testing Phase. And if you actually find a problem in which the Support staff agrees is a problem and creates a ticket for it, when it goes to the next lead programmer, they tend to dismiss it and never let you know.
Vorteile
The Customer Support Staff that you talk to from, unfortunately, the only one phone number they have available.
Nachteile
- Expects customer to use the API if they need any design changes
- Expects the customer to keep track of problems they find and keep having to contact them
- Absolutely no ability to contact any management in any way, shape or form. All emails are the same but are coded in a way that they will go back to them but only if they send you an email directly. If you expect someone in management to contact you but they don't, you're screwed. And since there is only one phone number to use to call, that only gives you the general support staff or Billing. What I have generally found is that Support understands exactly what's going on and understands what you are going through and what needs to be done. It's the second line of defense that who think you're crazy, or the standard comment is that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. However, the problem isn't listed anywhere in the CMS that the customers are allowed to see...which displays only customer requests, not the actual problems that they are working on.

Great for restaurants
Overall I have always enjoyed using Lightspeed. From the UI to customer support, I have always had positive experiences.
Vorteile
I love how easy setting up the system was, as well as training are staff how to use it was very simple.
Nachteile
One thing to improve would be the communication between order ahead and the POS so you can set inventory levels on products and have it subtracted from both sites.

Excellent Solution
With the upgrade to cloud base system, we find it fast, reliable and user friendly. What we love most about Lightspeed is the Customer Support top notch service. They go above and beyond to find your solutions.
Vorteile
We have been using Lightspeed for 11 years. We upgrade from on-site Lightspeed to Cloud because we wanted a website that reflected our stock levels and we also wanted to join the e-com world. We found this is the best platform for what we needed. What we loved the most about Lightspeed is that we could customize it to our needs. Plus it works great on Apple computers.
Nachteile
We really have not found anything that we least like about the software. Maybe that in Canada that there is not round up on pennies... however the great thing is that Lightspeed takes the feed back and then their developers work on improving on the feed back we give.

Long time customer with multiple locations
We have been using lightspeed since it was first introduced. The company has been great to work with and really cares about small businesses. The program keeps evolving and seems to get better and better with every update. I would reccomend it to any small business that wants to be as efficient as possible and wants a POS that can grow with them.
Vorteile
The cloud-based platform is very convenient. You can access it from any device with our without a touchscreen and it is very easy to use. This allows us to process transactions from anywhere including events and deliveries. The menus are simple and easy to navigate and training for new employees goes quickly. The service schedule keeps our entire service depatrment on task and the ability to customize the menus makes writing up tickets quick and easy. Also, the ability to view real time inventory at each store, integration to our webstore, and vendor catelogs makes inventory management much easier.
Nachteile
The transfer inventory feature from store to store is a little clumsy and has created some inventory discrepancies

My experience with Lightspeed
From the app add-ons, constant improvement to their support, Lightspeed has been there all of the way!
Vorteile

3. Handle inventory, POS and eCom all in one place.
Nachteile
The only issue I have is when the internet goes down, you are totally down.

Hard to use and understand
Horrible. Credit cards do not process correctly. Receipts don’t print out, so many buttons to push to make sure transactions are completed. It’s a total nightmare!

Nothing. Very difficult to use; it doesn’t work most of the time. So many buttons to press, very complicated. So many different aspects to keep track of. I get anxiety every time I try to run a transaction because nothing ever goes correctly.
Nachteile
Everything. So difficult to use. Very complicated and hard to understand. We get no support. Transaction don’t go through. Talk with others that use it and they have the same problems. Usually have to key in credit cards manually because the devices don’t function properly

Lightspeed POS for Pet Supply Store
Extremely positive. We couldn't run our business with out it.
Vorteile
Very easy to use and implement.
SaaS model let me access critical data anywhere, anytime.
Inventory control helps to keep products in stock without hurting cash flow.
Ecommerce portal is just amazing and our customers love it.

Support Is a Joke
I have been a Lightspeed POS customer for 8 years and year after year, Lightspeed continues to break one feature as it adds another. Feature requests are ignored. Serialized inventory has been broken for over 4 years with no fix yet. (Lightspeed allows duplicate serial numbers). PDF reports have broken character encoding (You can't copy and paste from reports). I've invested about $10K over the years in their software but their ongoing support is terrible

5th year of use
We have been able to grow our business by 10-20% each year because of the inventory control we have
Vorteile
The ease of using this program from desktop PC's to iPads anywhere there is internet is wonderful. It is more than robust for our 10,000 plus skus. Re-order points make fast work for ordering. Many choices for quick and easy to find reports. When COVID hit this March we had a shop already online and were able to take advantage of it for curbside service.
Nachteile
Some of the extras like Analytics and Loyalty programs have some issues, we have been able to work around and make them work for us.

Great Customer Service
We have been very happy with Lightspeed for nearly 10 years and felt as we have grown with them.
Customer support has always been great.
Vorteile

Ease of use
Cloud based Retail is great as it syncs instantaneously with eCom
eCom is very easy to use with tons of features
Analytics is fantastic and helps with easy reporting
Customer service has always been top notch. We have been with them for over 10 years and always impressed with support.
Nachteile
Still feel Retail can work on inventory management with serial numbers a little better.
Would love to see a invoice option for Retail instead of Receipts.

Easy to set up, easy to use
Vorteile
It is very easy for any of my new staff to use to to the visual aspect of the sales. Also easy to set up the products in the administration portion
Nachteile
I would like the "Search for a customer" to be a little more powerful. I have many duplicate entries for names because instead of searching, staff tend to just "add customer". If a duplicate arises, I would like this to prompt the staff member.

Lightspeed Retail & eCommecrc
With this system I am able to target slow moving items better.
Vorteile
Before I retired and bought a pet store I ran an industrial supply store for 28 years. The support Lightspeed gives is lightyears ahead of the package I operated on for 24 years, that cost $300,000. and $2500 per year for support and updates.

Integration was seamless and the fact that i can store 4 UPC's on each item is especially helpful. The only thing lacking is more detail on the reorder report, but I was looking at 40,000 items before

Best POS for Retail
Lightspeed helps me pay all my taxes for both sales and employees. It tracks everything so accurately that makes my accountant's job much easier than the past.
It's also great for tracking sales per employee and is easy to check everything remotely.
Vorteile
Lightspeed made it very easy to switch from my old system. I had a lot of inventory to transfer. With the help of Lightspeed's help team it was quick and seamless.
Lightspeed tracks all my sales, customers, inventory, etc. It makes my daily life so easy dealing with daily order entry, refunds and inventory control.
Nachteile
I have nothing bad to say. Honestly, this is a must buy for all retail businesses!

We recommend LightSpeed
No system is perfect, but we have found LightSpeed has overall exceeded our expectations, and we are very pleased with the program and their service!
Vorteile
We have been using LightSpeed point of sale systems since 2014, and are very pleased overall. We found the program easy to use and adaptable. The dashboard provides many terrific reports for inventory/profit / sales information. The customer service & help desk have always been readily available for questions, and prompt with answers and technical support. They also offer online seminars and learning sessions for retailers. We have not used either the Loyalty app or the Online e-commerce yet.
Nachteile
We have the odd issue with printing receipts and labels, depending on if we are using the system in Firefox or Chrome. Each web engine has its pros & cons. We can usually sort out printing issues without involving technical support. Ideally, we would prefer specific information on our sales labels, but what we do have will suffice.

Le service support est très mauvais : entre 30 et 45 minutes pour avoir quelqu'un au téléphone, et des informations contradictoires sont données. Impossible d'avoir le numéro direct de quelqu'un.Le service commercial est également très mauvais : j'ai dû changer de logiciel à cause de multiples problèmes techniques que Lightspeed n'a jamais été capable de me régler, et impossible d'obtenir la moindre remise sur l'abonnement annuel que j'avais déjà payé et que je n'allais donc pas utiliser.

Lightspeed retail and ecom
As a small bike shop, we had the challenge of finding an affordable easy to use, but fully integrated system for inventory and sales. We are into our 2nd season with lightspeed, and we are quite happy with the product, and even added the ecom bundle to our subscription renewal. We are constantly learning new ways to make the product work for us, and help streamline our work from both a sales and service perspective. I don't use the support as much as I should, but have had great experience with lightspeed support on any question or concerns I come up with.
Vorteile
Cost effective for small business. Easy to learn and fairly intuitive. Great support. The more we use it, the better it suits our needs and they seem receptive to feedback for changes and improvements.
Nachteile
The ecom platform is great, but has a very retail feeling to it, which I understand is the function. Would love for the platform to have options for a more informative feel and function. Like optional events page, gallery, widgets like weather or trail condition reports etc.

My Lightspeed Experience
Vorteile
1. They have a fast support response team. They won't have an answer for your problem but they will pick up your call.
2.Lightspeed is a good price point for their software. You can have 7 iPads with lightspeed but only pay for 5 systems. This is great if you need to accept payment in different parts of your store. Downside is you can only be using lightspeed on 5 devices at a time but thats fine, you usually never do.
3.They are constantly updating their software, better or worse. I know they are listening and trying to update the software asap.
4.Its iPad based, if you need to switch to another IPAD based POS its easy.
5.The interface on the iPad for ringing customers up is intuitive. If you set up your categories correctly and color coordinate and place your items strategically, light speed is very easy to use and it doesn’t require much training for younger staff.
Would be great only for small stores, Any store that has tons of customer rushes or restaurants should stay away.
Nachteile
I am only writing this review after a WHOLE YEAR of using horrible Lightspeed experience.

Nachteile
Customer support. They get a C while I was a customer and an F after I have repeatedly tried to cancel my account. Their actions are borderline fraudulent. I have tried for months to cancel my account while they continually charge me. We are about to involve our attorneys.
