I hated how difficult it is to set up and use. What should be straightforward turns into a time-consuming and frustrating process. The lack of clear instructions or intuitive navigation makes it hard to get started, and even after setup, using the tools feels unnecessarily complicated. It’s not user-friendly, and I found myself wasting more time than actually getting work done.

We use everything else for google. I initially chose Google Workspace because of its reputation and the integration with other Google services. I hoped it would streamline our workflow and offer easy collaboration. Unfortunately, the difficulty in setup and use outweighed the benefits.

What I like most about Google Workspace is how intuitive and user-friendly it is, making the transition from Microsoft Office to Google Docs and Google Sheets incredibly smooth. The integration with Google Drive is outstanding, allowing all my files to be easily accessible and shareable across the platform. I also appreciate the AI assistance in Google Sheets, which streamlines data handling and analysis. The ability to sync everything with Google Calendar and collaborate in real-time with colleagues is a significant advantage, enhancing productivity and teamwork.

Nachteile

The downside is that sometimes there are formatting issues when importing files from other platforms, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, the customization options for headers, footers, and some document settings are somewhat limited compared to other software. These are minor issues, though, considering the overall functionality.

I really enjoy the fact that the vast majority of IT & software needs for a Small / Medium Enterprise are fully covered by Google Workspace: emails - software - files - calendar - meetings etc.

Also, the fact that all technical aspects & issues are handled by Google directly, help me saving time on a daily basis.

I don't like two facts on Google Workspace. The most important one is that Google Drive for Mac does not work as it should and there have been numerous cases were the files weren't syncing properly between different users. This is a real pain and we have considered moving to another vendor for cloud storage.

The other issue that we don't like is that all new features of Google are not always instantly available to users across our organisation.

It is very browser and gmail driven. It doesn't work as well if the other side doesn't have gmail or understand how Google Workspace operates.

As always, a small learing curve is expected when you first set-up this tools. It is reccomended to have an experienced user to walk through the different possibilites so the rest of the team can make the most out of the platform. There is online documentation and several tutorials for this too.

The amount of applications Google workspace offers is incredible.
Not only do you get the standard email, writing, presentation, and excel type of programs you also can take advantage of several others that are incredible for business. The ability to use google voice, analytics, gemini, etc is incredible.

Not a con, more of a personal anecdote, I wish I knew the basics behind all of what Google workspace offers so I knew what I had available to me that maybe I wasn't taking advantage of. A demo or short explanation of each tool would be great.

Google Workspace allows multiple options to get things done. I use this software to create schedules, meetings, asks questions with forms, create websites with slides, or to go over information. The best feature is google calendar as this helps me stay on track.

There are no cons with this software. I have nothing but good things to say.

Having a professional business domain name while still being able to use all of Google's features is super helpful, no need to transfer things among personal accounts.

I love that it is affordable. I have had many small businesses and needed a professional email to conduct business with clients. Google Workspace helps with conversions in sales because of the professional email address and the ability to have meetings with members who are a part of your team through video chat on Meet is helpful without having to go through a different service. I also love the ability to add upcoming events directly to your calendar from google workspace to your phone calendar, this is a great feature I use often to stay organized.

Everything! Our company functions on a daily basis utilizing Google Workspace. Our company emails are set up through the workspace. We have multiple folders accessible in the shared drive. We host virtual company meetings through google meet. Everything is whether it is business or personal is stored on my google calendar. We have company chats through google chat, such as our all employee chat that we utilize for company announcements and updates. And lastly, the google docs and sheets! We create documents and spreadsheets, shared internally. Excel who?
