Simplicity
Vorteile
Klaviyo is pretty simple to use. I haven't spent much time learning how to use different features, but it is very simple to use for monthly newsletters and important announcements to our patients.

When I schedule an email to send, I wish it was easier to cancel the send to make an edit.

Good for the startup
Very easy to use, liked it!
Vorteile
Klaviyo is really simple to use. The interface takes some time to get used to but there's not much to it so you get the hang of it pretty quick. You can drag and drop images within the template so there's no coding required. This makes it simple for the small business that can't afford to hire a programmer.
Nachteile
As your company grows it becomes a little too basic. Other larger platforms offer many more features and a more professional/knowledgable staff to help with marketing strategy.
There are also times when the mobile preview does not render emails properly. For example, it will show two stacked images in the previewer but when you actually send yourself a test of the email the pieces are not stacked on mobile.
Other than that, there isn't too much that I dislike. It's just easy to grow out of.

Le prix est élevé par rapport à la concurrence, mais c'est néanmoins un bon choix

effective email marketing for ecom stores
I’m satisfied because the revenue generated with email marketing via klaviyo is really good and I definitely recommend it for every e-commerce store.
Vorteile
when it comes to email marketing for our ecommerce stores we rely on klaviyo because it’s really effective and it provides us with great results, we are able to recover a big percentage of abandoned carts and whenever we have a sale we send a campaign to our customers and it does great.
Nachteile
The price can be a bit expensive but it’s worth it for the provided functionalities, they can also improve the reporting to make some complicated metrics easy to understand for the average joe.

A Step Closer
Overall Klaviyo has a bit of a learning curve, but once you learn it it's easy to use and customize for general purposes. Whenever I've had an issue, the team has been helpful and they've made note of my suggestions for the future.
Vorteile
I started using Klaviyo last year and have found it more customizable than some other email platforms. As a designer color customization, image sizing, and padding are important things for me. There are also a ton of different formatting options depending on the style of email I'm working on. Whenever I've had an issue, Klaviyo support has been quick to help and have made videos for future reference.
Nachteile
Not everything is customizable. While fonts can be imported, they don't always show up on email browsers so you're limited by Klaviyo's native fonts. Mobile formatting vs desktop can also be an issue, as right now there isn't a way to differentiate the two. At times I also have to format via coding, where I wish I could design with the native tools.

First of all, we recommend those who are beginning to consider klaviyo, since the price will depend directly on the number of contacts with which it will work. Up to 250 contacts is completely free.
Vorteile
The analysis capability that klaviyo provides when working with investment return follow-ups is very varied thanks to its huge amount of marketing process automation tools. It has a good mailing list system.
Nachteile
Klaviyo has problems integrating to point of sale (POS) services, since when trying it the platform usually collapses and we must restart the work, which takes us too much time. Your self-responders are very limiting.

Freakin Love Klaviyo
I transitioned to klaviyo from another popular email marketing platform for my shopify store and the difference is like night and day.
Klaviyo smashes it!
Benefits:
Klaviyo integrates seamlessly with Shopify.
It has a simple "Getting Started" process that's included and doesn't cost a bucket load of extra money to understand how to use the platform.
It has amazing tracking and analytics that are easy to understand and help you see where you are converting sales and where you need to improve.
The drag and drop editor is awesome and the segmenting rules you can create for email flows is amazing.
It integrates seamlessly with SumoMe.
It basically does everything I need and has shown me things I didn't even know I could do to improve my business.
I Love It!
The only negative, it would be awesome if they had easy access to telephone support or live chat. The support is good via email but I like immediate support and the ability to chat live.

It isn't a full CRM tool so expensive to have additional to HubSpot the CRM we use.

Great ecommerce marketing email platform
We use Klaviyo for sending our order confirmation, shipping, tracking, and other after purchase emails. For marketing, we've created some great flows including a thank you email 3 days after purchase, abandoned cart emails, customer recovery emails, etc.
Vorteile
It's full of features and pretty simple to use. Switched from Mailchimp and haven't looked back. It's a little pricier but that's ok. Have created some really great marketing emails and even use it for our after purchase emails (order confirmation, shipping, tracking, etc).
Nachteile
Sometimes the site is a little slow. I'm sure this has to do with the time of day and the use it is getting from other users.

Great email marketing platform for ecommerce clients
Vorteile
We have been using Klaviyo for our BigCommerce and Magento clients now for quite awhile and appreciate all of the syncing that takes place between the emails and capturing the sale. It's great to see the trends and what emails brought in most revenue. Getting the platforms to sync takes a little bit of time, but then Klaviyo sets up email drip campaigns for you to customize as well.
Nachteile
Doing customization of the email drip campaigns takes a ton of time and it's tough to ensure that it's all set up properly. We wish we had a rep to work with because the customer service takes entirely too long when you have to send an email and wait for a response. There is a three hour time difference so we lose out on using the chat feature sometimes too.

Tried it on a whim and wound up loving it. Our sales actually grew measurably as a result of using Klaviyo

You can do so much more with this platform. The templates are more exciting and way less cookie cutter. Segmenting options are endless.
Nachteile
I feel like I need to take a class to get everything out of this platform. Seriously. It’s frustratung. I feel like I’m only using 50% of its potential. There are resources where you can look up info, and they’re mostly good. But I feel this was designed by a developer who forgot the rest of the world does not have his knowledge.

Easier to set up than Mailchimp and insanely more powerful
I started with Mailchimp and l liked it, but I couldn't get the segmentation that I wanted for my Shopify store. We were just launching our new store and I didn't have the time to switch and set up a new email system, but wow...it was so simple. I blocked half a day and I had it mostly set within 2 hours! Abandoned cart sequence, welcome sequence, repeat purchase thank you sequence. All will easy A/B test set up. Plus it automatically set up segmentations based on spending.
My favorite part is the activity feed which tracks all of you customers activities and you can quickly sort to see who has opened an email, who has been active on the site, clicked links, etc... I am no marketing expert and this has made it so simple.
I cannot recommend them enough. I experimented with Convertkit and Mailchimp and Klaviyo is hands down the best for e-commerce!

A lot of work but pays off

It integrates well with Big Commerce allowing me to make a lot of good marketing decisions.
Nachteile
The templates are a pain, but they are planning to improve that next year. They say that all the plans are the same and there are no hidden fees or add-ons. I don't believe that's true because only large companies get someone to talk to about strategy. That sounds like a really expensive add-on to me.

Simplified ESP with all the necessary integrations! Great segmenting and amazing customer...
Easy to automate our email campaigns, and very detailed breakdowns of campaign performance as well as contacts. We have been able to narrow down our subscriber list to the most loyal and our least loyal customers, as well as create campaigns to drive traffic back to our website based on analytics within Klaviyo.
Vorteile
Their basic templates are a no-frills way to make sure you're taking full advantage of your email lists. With automation as well as blast sending capabilities, plus outstanding customer service skills - seriously, I email our rep and get responses within minutes - it's a no brainer, especially if you're working with a smaller email list.
Nachteile
The ability to design and utilize HTML based templates is a bit shotty. The web-forms feature can be difficult to understand - different forms send to lists vs segments, flows.

a MUST-HAVE tool
Vorteile
I absolutely love Klavyio. Its interface it's similar to MailChimp, but I find it so much easier to work with Klaviyo than with MC. I've been using it as our email management tool for a year now and it has every feature our business needs; from list management, to broadcasting messages, to creating email flows. Plus, Klaviyo's support is impeccable. The agents are well prepare to guide you through all your needs and they for sure go the extra mile to help you take the most out of their tool.
Nachteile
I don't think they have any cons. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

Vorteile
It reminds me of Google Analytics and I love it! Easy to nagivate, clean design, all necesary information in one dashboard. I specifically enjoy the segments section.
Marketing automation is pretty impressive too. I tested out different conditions and actions to build flows of subscriers and it worked well.
Nachteile
I found it difficult to set up...so I had to ask for a help in doing it. I know it's not the worst thing in the world, but I like to get it started fast so I wish their customer support was more effective.

Klaviyo is very good, but expensive
I thought it was good, but there is no live chat support, and it generally took 2-3 days to get email responses from support. When setting things up, those delays can become annoying. But overall Klaviyo is the standard for a reason.

Klaviyo is like Mailchimp for Ecommerce. On steroids.
More, free traffic coming from Email. Social Media is cool, we get it. They have live videos and stuff. But where will Instagram be in 2 years, what about Pinterest/Snapchat etc? You'll never know. Your Email list, however, is here to stay. Klaviyo will help you nurture it and make the most out of it.
Vorteile
I think their product recommendation of products is very good. We all know the value of retargeting and with Klaviyo you can show either your most popular products in your weekly or daily emails or you can even show personalised product recommendations. This will result in higher open rates and CTRs in the long run. Give it a try and see for yourself, it's a powerful tool.
I also love the email flows, once you set them up (I upgraded from the free Mailchimp version) you'll see a lot more (practically free) traffic coming from Email to your shop.
All in all a great service, you'll see an uplift very quickly. last but not least: I LOVE it that they're constantly improving it further (latest addition are customised coupons for every user)

the management of profiles and users can be a bit tricky although you'll quickly grasp what it is all about.

Excellent software at a reasonable price for what is offered...
Klaviyo's integration is excellent as a whole. I use it with BigCommerce and while I wish there was something other than just a script integration. Something similar other Apps in BigCommerce I feel like they do pretty good job. I have been able to get very specific with my retargeting of past customers and retain MUCH more regular customers and reorders than when I used mailchimp. Well worth the extra money for the complexity of targeting. Do take your time learning how to create flows. That is where you money comes back to you for sure.

We LOVE it
As a Shopify customer, we use Klaviyo religiously. Our number one goal as a startup is to give the customer the best experience possible. Being able to create a flow for new customers has been the greatest addition to our marketing. 5 days after the sale, "Hanson" (the founder) sends an email welcoming them to our community. 50 days after we send an email "Just Checking In" (which gets an 80% open rate!!) to make the customer know for sure that we are still with them :) Lastly, we send an email at day 90, letting them know their 100-day money back guarantee is about to run out and that they can still return. Our customers LOVE us and our sales have grown tremendously due to their word of mouth. This one flow has created more influencers in the Think Board community that our team could over the past 2 years. This is just one flow -- we have so many more ;)

Great!
We've been able to properly segment our customers and send them the right emails. This has helped us a lot.

Klaviyo is amazing in handling our email lists. I particularly love how they segment our customers so we don't have to do it manually and can direct our communication with them accordingly. I also love that their customer rep called once I set up our account. It definitely made me feel like I was in the right place.
Nachteile
I think it's slightly too expensive. The free tier before you start getting charged is quite small.

Overall, Klaviyo is a great email marketing platform. I do wish they had more modern templates to help out the design process but overall it's really great and love that it integrates seemlessly with most apps.

Integrated from Mailchimp, so far so good
We have gotten our email marketing revenue from just 2% of our business to closer to 11% I am really happy with this, and feel it will really help us realize our goals. It seems really easy to grow and list clean with it as well.
Vorteile
I love that I can set up these great flows to winback customers, and offer discounts. It links really easily with Shopify, and we were up and running really quickly. I like the layout and UX of the platform a lot.
Nachteile
Sometimes I have emails that do not get delivered and it is a difficult to know why this happens here and there, but my customer success manager has addressed this with me.

There is a ton of flexibility and customizing that you can do with emails sending from Klaviyo. My favorite is all of their integrations and wonderful email drip campaigns.

Since you can do so much with Klaviyo, it can get a little overwhelming. But once you figure out how to use the software, it's extremely easy and powerful.

Klaviyo makes it super easy to segment customers based on any number of attributes. This has been such a great feature that I can really get granular about my audience.

Like most new programs it can take a second to get used to how it all works. But once you figure that out it's great.

Great email marketing tool
It was good.
Vorteile
Klaviyo offers the best email marketing analytics I have seen so far. The feature online best is the live analytics.
Nachteile
It was difficult to understand at first. You would have to read a lot of documentation before you can understand basic features

Great email management/marketing
Overall, I had an okay experience using this platform. The pricing is okay for the features it comes with.
Vorteile
This is a great user friendly email management especially if you're first starting out with email management softwares. I really liked the templates they already provided me - I could easily just change the information in there around if I wanted to.
Nachteile
Support is a little bit slow at responding to issues. I also had multiple errors when sending emails but those worked out on their own.

Simple but effective
Quite good, It is very simple to use so anybody with limited email marketing knowledge can use. Would recommend it for small mid-size companies.
Vorteile
The administrator is super easy to use, its UX is dummy-proof and covers all the basics of email marketing. It allows you to create visual email flows so modifying or transforming ideas into real emails becomes quite dynamic and intuitive.
I also enjoy the fact that you can AB test.
Nachteile
Some modules are quite limited. The AB testing option is not a real testing tool as it doesn't even explain if they use the Bayesian or frequentist method neither it's easy to compare the KPIs between the variants. It is clear that is an MVP.
Also, the editing options for the pop-ups are limited. You can not insert HTML or CSS freely.

One of the best emails tools in the market. Smooth and intuitive. Tracking and A/B testing. It can almost do it all!

A really intuitive tool that provides a variety of options for creating email campaigns. Its tracking statistics and A/B testing capabilities help to improve the effectiveness of your emails, and the ability to share access with others can facilitate task delegation.
Nachteile
Nothing much apart that the price can be intimidating to newcomers.

Klaviyo is the only email platform I use and recommend.
Revenue!!
Vorteile
Klaviyo integrates perfectly with my clients and my own Shopify store. It is simply to use whilst having a host of powerful features to assist in generating revenue from both your lists and flows.
Nachteile
Support is excellent however can be a little delayed waiting for email replies. Pricing can also be hard to understand when you first start using with cost per contact.

Easy to use! Great customer service. Very happy with our choice.
Vorteile
We love Klaviyo and have found it to be easy to use and has all the features and characteristics that we needed for less money than other similar providers.
Nachteile
Sometimes Klaviyo shuts down mid-stream or gets slow as it loads but it always saves our work so it's never a huge issue.

Nice for Emailing Lots of People
I've been using Klaviyo for a little while now, and it's pretty nice for emailing, especially if you have a decent sized list. It's simple to create templates, and they're almost constantly adding new features to improve the platform. Customer Service is great, too.
I wish the data reporting had an easier way to see custom info from the dashboard, but other than that it's great!
Vorteile
It's easy and simple to use, they have tons of resources and helpful tips to improve the efficacy of marketing efforts, and have stellar customer service. They are also constantly adding new features that are pretty sweet.
Nachteile
the reporting options could be a little more user friendly, like being able to set custom date ranges from the dashboard would be really nice to have.

Beginner friendly and easy to navigate
Although the templates were great and we loved the look of the email, there were too many that went to spam compared to other email platforms.
Vorteile
UI was some of the cleanest options out there. Segmentation and filter options are easy to navigate and implement
Nachteile
Deliverability was the main con for Klaviyo and was the reason we started looking for other options.

Vorteile
Klaviyo is pretty powerful. The segmentation and ability to specifically target personas with different flows is very valuable
Nachteile
There is a lot of work required to manage this software - but that's only because it is so powerful. You will get out what you put into it - so you need to be prepared to spend tine with this to set-up the campaigns and flows and monitor it for best results.

Ideal for ecommerce businesses
The main benefit is the increased revenue for businesses that use Klaviyo. Most of my ecommerce clients use this and this helps me with creating better facebook audiences.
Vorteile
I like the segmentation features. You can create lists of people who bought 2+ times, people who bought goods worth $100 or more. Also you can sync these lists with facebook audiences and this makes retargeting more powerful.
Nachteile
I don't like the email templates of Klaviyo. And as a software, it might be a little hard for beginners.

Great upgrade from mailchimp
Vorteile
Easy platform to navigate, customer tracking and list management is great, and really nice campaign layout options
Nachteile
The "built in" back in stock feature is only built in for free shopify templates which I am going to guess 99.9% of high volume e commerce businesses are not using. Sold to me as a feature and only discovered this after, and I had two developers try to work on adding it in with no success so I still have to pay for a separate app for that. Only con I have found so far.
