Umfangreiche Lösung mit Schwächen in der Bedienung und im Einkauf
Komplexes System,von dem wir als kelinere Firma nur einen geringen Teil nutzen, dieser funktioniert aber einwandfrei. Leider ist die Eingabe von Daten und Text bze. die Benutzerführung dabei oft (zu) umständlich.

Gute Software zum guten Preis
Aufgrund der sehr unterschiedlichen Anforderungen unserer Kunden an die Angaben auf unseren Rechnungen ist Sage 100 hervorragend.
Vorteile
Entscheidend für die Einführung der Vorgängerprodukte von Sage 100 und den Umstieg auf Sage 100 war die große Vielfalt an Möglichkeiten, Informationen auf den Rechnungen zu erfassen. Diese Gestaltungs-möglichkeiten waren, neben der Erfüllung der üblichen Voraussetzungen und einem angemessenen Preis, für meine Entscheidung grundlegend.
Nachteile
Eigentlich gibt es keine Nachteile. Alles, was wir brauchen, ist bestens abgebildet.

Sage 100 the good and the bad!
I personally love it, and it is very user friendly, but because I had the local (not web based) version I could only get to log in VIA remote etc... but it suited everything I needed for my company.
Vorteile
sage is very develop-able and can be adjusted to do all your needs, ( only with a Great Re-seller )
Nachteile
the least I like about sage is that in order to really get an understanding of the software you must have an awesome re-seller and there is only a handful (maybe a bit more) and they charge huge amounts of money to do the work.... so, it ends up being very pricey...

Poor Customer Service and Software
Overall Poor upgrade from Sage 50 Accounting. Little to no support from customer service (usually just told to look in the knowledge base). At one point we stated to pay for outside help. There are much better options out there.
Vorteile
We used the contractor version of Sage 100. It was a nice all in one solution with everything in one place. Invoicing was pretty simple for our accounting to use.
Nachteile
Mobile app didn't do anything, it was extremely basic. Taxes were not actually calculated on employees pay (it still calculated it but didn't actually track it, just stopped at one point but only for a few and it wasn't caught), estimating module could use a lot of work to update it.

Not for everyone, but a great accounting program
I've always had great luck with Sage 100. I have several clients who use it, and they're all quite happy with it. There IS a bit more of a learning curve to it if you've never worked with an accounting program before, but if you have some basic accounting knowledge, then it's fairly intuitive.

Performs well, gives great reports and such.

It's a bit more difficult to understand than some of its more pedestrian brethren.

Smart Campaign Tracking
Managing campaign budgets and tracking ROI with Sage has been really wonderful. I use its financial clarity for my role as a junior digital marketing manager to keep a watch on campaigns so they stay on track. It doesn't guess at me; its real live updates eliminated inefficiencies so that we can move budgets around as needed. Campaigns have a direct effect on the company's bottom line; it is easy to see that financial management is really a lot less intimating.
Vorteile
Its real instant financial tracking and customizable reporting features make Sage 100 a distinct advantage amongst the rest. Continuous tracking means that campaign budgets, expenses, and financial performance are always relevant and allow for immediate implementation.
Nachteile
While the user interface of Sage 100 is not my favorite part about the software, it could certainly use a bit of modernizing and an intuitive interface. For example, the automation of financial monitoring could also be expanded to save more time repeating tasks.

User-friendly Software for Many Departments
Positive. We get accurate data. We are able to use it to track job costs, payments, invoices, inventory, and more. Different departments can use one software tool for their various needs.
Vorteile
It's always a good thing when end users can easily use the software and be able to get information from it that helps make data-driven decisions. Also, it interfaces seamlessly with our payroll system.
Nachteile
Sometimes data entered doesn't save. An example is with payroll, we can enter data for an employee and save during Trial Compute. When we run Final Compute, it's as if we never entered the data. It's not there. We then have to create a new payroll record, run Trial Compute again, make the changes, run Final Compute. That usually is the end of it, but it's perplexing that this happens as all.

I would start somewhere else
Incredibly frustrating. Simple things are hard, things take forever to load, and I struggle to get basic information without needing 3 custom reports.
Vorteile
Very robust product if you take the time to customize it.
Nachteile
This is an accounting first software that is not user friendly. Example: you can find your commissions for salespeople under your accounts receivable module.
Something else I have struggled with is the product is sold directly, but implemented with a third party integrator. Our third party integrator just informed me of a 200% price increase going into effect in the next two weeks followed by another 300% increase going into effect at the end of the year.

Perfect ERP Software for medium sized businesses
We have been with Sage for almost 7 years and it has saved us much time and money. Our old software was clunky and not customizable. We are able to now do multiple tasks at the same time, even within different companies.
Vorteile
Ease of use, ease of customization. Excellent customer support, excellent value for the money. Great for organizations with multiple entities - ability to switch between companies/work in different companies at the same time.
Nachteile
After a sales order is completed, you cannot "resurrect" it - you must generate a new number and "copy" the old sales order from history.

10+ Years of Sage in a mid-size manufacturing / distro environment
Sage has worked well for us for almost 10 years however as the company grows we find that we are "outgrowing" Sage and it can't keep up with our workload.
Vorteile
Sage is old and the core functionality is solid. It "just works" for most smaller companies
Nachteile
Sage really isn't intended for large / complicated environments. Once you've gone above 50 simultaneous users and add third party integrations for taxing, credit cards, warehouse management, etc... you'll notice lag in the system regardless of the hardware resources assigned to it.

SAGE 100 is a Winner
Overall, Sage has helped with running our business and keeping everything straight - I would say my (our) experience with Sage has been a positive one.
Vorteile
It is a very robust package of modules - each module is for a specific task - general ledger, AP, AR, Inventory, etc. Once you have your company setup you assign your staff to be responsible for one of the modules and they become the expert in the module. All modules are integrated with the other modules so there is no need to upload and run sync programs - it is all done for you.
Nachteile
Sometimes the modules are not as intuitive as other modules - I can only guess different software designers designed different modules and therefore the nuances of writing logical code differ from individual to individual. This makes more a bit of discontinuity across the modules. Somethings a module will crash due to some parameter not having a specific number or letter in the database (don't even know how that would happen!) and you cannot diagnose it yourself - you have to call customer service. It will cost you money if you don't have a CS plan and chew up at least an hour of your time. However, in fairness it does not happen too often.

New Sage 100cloud software is great
I've been working with Sage 100cloud for the past 6 months. With my busy schedule and the number of clients I'm servicing, I don't have the time to keep track of all my business finances. Sage 100cloud is the perfect solution for me. I can track my cash in and out, see where I'm at with my payables and receivables and create reports for my accountant. I also use the supply chain module to track my suppliers and create an automated purchase order system. Sage 100cloud is a great solution for businesses that don't have time to keep up with their finances.
Vorteile
I was looking for a new cloud-based solution to manage my accounting and finances because my old program was not able to handle my business' complicated processes, and I found Sage 100cloud. This solution helps simplify your finances by providing a single source of data for items like cash management, financial procedures and supply chain management. You can manage your entire business from anywhere on any device, so I can check my finances from my phone or tablet.

I haven't really had any issues with this product so far.

Great software for a small growing business
There have been some nice improvements in the 18 years we have been using Sage 100/MAS90. It is not cheap, but gets the job done. They must continue to use customer feedback to make the right improvements to the software and not change features users heavily rely on.
Vorteile
Customer service has been great. They do everything they can to help resolve issues. Sage’s scalability has allowed the software to grow along with our needs. 3rd Party software works best if has partnered with Sage to get updates that allow for testing prior to a new update being released.
Nachteile
It seems that along with some enhancements you get when upgrading, you may lose some functionality such as when printing travelers that now require more steps to complete. Custom reports and integrations can be costly because a Sage reseller is needed for support.

Many features, Poor execution
Many bells and whistles but too complicated for most users.
Vorteile
The production management module helps us keep track of all inventoried products and our built product. It can be easy to use if you know what you are doing. Being able to have different dates used per module is useful when you are able to use them properly.
Nachteile
There is a lot of background "stuff" that happens without you knowing. Also, unless you notice a discrepancy, the software will not tell you about it. We have had to rebuild the sort files in order to have the proper inventory show up. The software also gives errors often which requires you to redo the work you completed

Software that is easy to customize to fit your exact needs
All in all, this is a good product with options for growth as your business needs change.
Vorteile
Sage 100 Advanced ERP allows you to create data fields that are unique to your business and have the data flow through the various processes and data files. We have added over 100 fields to our invoicing forms, and the data flows from the sales order to the invoice, to the accounts receivable history. The data entry screens are easily modified to add any custom fields you need. The forms for printing documents are also easily modified via Crystal Reports. We utilize Crystal Reports to perform error checking at the order entry point to alert the order entry and billing clerks if there any issues with the order that needs to be corrected. We check to see if purchase orders are required. If they are, is one on the order? We check to ensure the sales tax code is correct for the shipping address. There are easily a dozen things we check, all utilizing the tools built into Crystal Reports. We have been using this software since the mid-1990's and have upgraded year after year. The upgrades are much easier than they used to be and the features that have been added over the last few years are great additions to the software.
Nachteile
Some of the processes are more complicated than they need to be. Recording pre-payments on A/R or A/P invoices is a prime example. The process for both should be re-evaluated, and the process should be the same for any pre-payment that needs to be recorded. Some of the module pricing doesn't make any sense. The asset module is way too expensive when compared to other options available.

A Well Travelled Work Horse
Its a great product for the small business client looking for audit-compliance, reporting and a trust-worthy product without spending a lot. If mobility is not a huge concern for you and you want to keep your operating costs low, choose Sage 100.
Vorteile
Sage 100 is very well suited for financial record keeping, distribution management and reporting on these business operations. Functionally, it is very reliable and straight forward to use. It was the first accounting software I ever used in a professional setting and I continue to think in terms of the way items are processed in Sage 100. Because it has been around for decades, there is a substantial amount of knowledge available to new users by way of Sage City and the number of consultants available for support is also a huge asset. The subscription pricing makes it very simple to purchase and include as an operating cost for the lifetime of the business and there are great integrations available in the channel.
Nachteile
I wish there was a mobile app that gave access to the approval functions and other areas of the product that would be convenient when traveling away from the office - or even just working remotely. Remote accessing a server is very inconvenient and there are so many browser-based systems in business already. Sage 100 feels behind the times without this functionality.

Vorteile
The support people were excellent to work with and made our transition in 2012 as easy as a new installation could ever get. I also like that all the areas are similar, so if you know Order Entry you can translate that knowledge to say Purchasing.
Nachteile
When i go to create custom reports there are databases with the last three letters WRK. It would be great to have access to those databases; i realize they are a combination of existing databases but they have everything i usually need for a custom report.
The bug in the current software update where you can't close the ship-to-address box in the right corner is annoying.

Over all we are very happy with the software and support received.
Vorteile
We use Sage100 for AR, AP, invoicing, inventory and month end reporting. The software is rather easy to use and can be customize for your business needs.It is very easy to train someone to use SAGE 100. Another feature I like is that I can pull reports out into excel. Also the support given from the SAGE staff is high quality.
Good software and support overall.

The only con to this software is, it is slow at times.

A Must for Any Accounting Department!
I use Sage 100 on a daily basis. When I got this job, it was my first time working in this program and I was a little intimidated, but once I sat down and started navigating through the different modules, I could see that it was not going to be a problem to use at all!
Vorteile
It's very simple and straight forward and easy to use. It's not convoluted with a bunch of unnecessary features. It also has a lot of useful resources and help guides right there if you need them.
Nachteile
I'm not sure of the ease of integration with other products. I think it was attempted but not followed through on.

Software is bad, service partner is worse.
outdated technology, lack of transparency, psuedo subscription without meaningful updates. Poor quality of the service partner network leaves much to be desired.
Vorteile
the name of the software. But don't be fooled by that.
Nachteile
On paper it has all the functionalities. In reality none of them works properly. You endup with countless customizations from a Sage partner and become very dependent on their partner. They are neither good nor cheap.

Excellent software for a small to midsize company
The integration to pVault, a paperless document management platform used to approve or reject A/P invoices, worked well but there would be errors for large batches. It was hard to determine where the problem lied and which platform to blame. Overall, a small sized construction or manufacturing company projecting growth to midsize in a few years.
Vorteile
The simplicity of it. It has the capacity to do everything needed in accounting and easy to learn. Good for a small to midsize company.
Nachteile
I wish the report parameters had more options to view data. I wish there was an option to increase the system font size.

Obsolete Software only for small businesses
Vorteile
Can do a lot.
Personal c# developpement possible with Objets Metier.
Nachteile
Obsolete softaware in many features . For example , the length of fileds is very short (a serail number with only 31 charactersn a title with 69).
A godd facelift would be welcome.
There' s too many bug in mangement that are still not resolved.
The interface is not modern and the document generator is from another era. There's not workflow either.

good starting point
its easy enough to get through. a quick learn. it'll do the job day to day no problem.

it is a very simple program to use. it really cant be dumbed downed enough. its a great starting point for a small business, as the company grows probably would want to upgrade
Nachteile
certain options could just be better. Inventory look up, example looking up an item could be better, unless the description is spot on to find the part # the program wont broaden the search for you.

Perfect software for any business
Vorteile
I think the thing I like most is that fact that everything pertaining to the specific job is kept all together and easily accessible.
Nachteile
When using job cost, only one person can access at a time unless we purchase another license, but its not a huge deal.

Het nostalgische aspect, de software biedt een reis terug in de tijd naar Windows Milennium.
Nachteile
Log, duur, alles behalve flexibel zelfs de meest basic vereisten als korting.
Na 1 jaar overgestapt te zijn met grote kosten voor implementatie krijgen we een aangetekend schrijven dat Sage de support voor België volledig stop zet.
De hele investering voor niets geweest.

Sage 100 Accounting Software is Easy to Manage!
I have been supporting Sage 100 for years and able to maintain and patch on our schedule to accommodate us better.
Vorteile
I like the interface and setup of Sage 100. It makes it helpful to control the maintenance and patching of the servers locally.

There are times when we would like to have more support for local resources and have not been able to find it.

Easy to use software with a lot of accuracy
Financial reporting has been made easy with the software as I am able to generate budgets and financial reports with a lot of flexibility and accuracy. Invoicing is also efficient with the software.
Vorteile
The software has an impressive capability for managing project costs. It ensures that the cost of a project is well taken care of through proper budgeting and tracking of project expenditure.
Nachteile
I have nothing that I don't like about the software. Our accounting and financial needs are well taken care of by the software.

Sage 100, une gestion solide pour PME
Par le passé, j'ai aidé un ami appartenant à une entreprise a faire le parametrage du logiciel et cela s'est soldé par un echec.
Vorteile
Sage 100 est un logiciel de gestion d'entreprise adapté aux besoins des petites et moyennes structures. Son interface intuitive et son panel de fonctionnalités étendues en font un outil apprécié des gestionnaires.
Au nombre des avantages de Sage 100, soulignons tout d'abord sa capacité à centraliser l'ensemble des opérations comptables et financières d'une PME. Le logiciel permet en outre une gestion aisée des stocks, des achats et un suivi précis de la trésorerie. Son volet analytique offre par ailleurs une vision détaillée de la rentabilité de l'activité.
Nachteile
Toutefois, certains aspects de Sage 100 pourraient être améliorés. Notons ainsi que le paramétrage initial du logiciel requiert un certain niveau d'expertise et que son interface accuse un style graphique quelque peu désuet. De plus, le logiciel ne dispose pas nativement de fonction CRM, obligeant à un achat additionnel.
