Birdeye is Awesome
I am hoping to grow our reviews and therefore grow our presence and finally get the recognition we have worked so hard for. With Birdeyes help I am hoping to triple our customer base.

It’s always been good. I would say they’re an excellent company.
Vorteile
The ease of use which is a mandatory for all of us that aren’t computer savvy.
Nachteile
There are occasional glitches that require customer support. That’s to be expected with any computer software. The thing I like most and is most impressive is the excellent customer support.They truly are on your side and there to fix it and make it right.The best part is that they always fix it and get it right.When things go this smooth it’s a testament to the outstanding management.

They will not disappear. We just remove the page from the web but if you were to reactivate then we'll turn the page back on and all the reviews will be there. Now any reviews you generate to Google or other third party sites will always stay up there even if you leave Birdeye. Experience Management through BirdEye is an awesome experience
Decision making is now done with data. The data tells us what needs to change. That makes things easy.

BirdEye has made experience management a wonderful experience.
We manage thousands of locations and this tool gives us the transparency and scale that we need to manage an ever changing technology landscape.
It also gives us the flexibility to create and execute campaigns to gather different types of feedback across various channels. The data we receive from our customers is amazing and it allows us to make better business decisions. This software has also made it really easy to identify who needs more customer service training, or changes we need to make to our facilities etc...
Love the reporting, two way messaging, review gathering, monitoring and surveys. NPS is also easy to serve.
Nachteile
Switching from setup to campaigns could be easier.

Are you the best ?
Out overall experience has been tremendous! We really care about our patients. We are a husband and wife team and we treat them like our family. We have high skill level too and our team is dedicated too in treating and caring for each patient and when they ask patients to fill out the email when they get it after their appointment, it is always a 5 star review ! It is the best way to show new prospective new patients that are looking to come to a practice that want to be treated that way too ! They want to be listened too , not to be hurt,& they want to understand wants going on . They also want to be able to smile and feel good about themselves again. And do it in a way that they can afford it and we seem to make that work for them . And this birdeye reviews is a way that they express it to us . Get it ! Now ! Unless you suck .... then don’t because people will tell you but maybe that’s good too and then you’ll know that you need to step up your game or fire someone or maybe more than just someone maybe everyone and start over with a whole new team and a new mission statement..... wow ... food for thought 😉

Terrible Review Company
Worst review service on the market right now. Before moving to Birdeye I would get between two to three 5 Star reviews a week just from my team texting customers. After moving to Birdeye I got one review in a month. Then when I asked to cancel, they refused to because I signed a contract for a year. The fact they make customers sign year contracts proves that they know their system does not work well. DO NOT USE!!

Nothing, the system does not work, and I hope people don't get stuck in the contact like me.

Bait and switch, lock you into a contract, does not generate new reviews, terrible onboard, hard to use.

Our overall experience has been great!
Vorteile
The most impactful feature is the ability to integrated with Quickbooks so your customers automatically get a review email/text. Next would be the ability to converse with a potential customer almost immediately.
Nachteile
The only feature that I am working with Birdeye on possibly adding is another feature to the contact is link. I am hoping to hear back next week with good news.

Easy to use and great support!

It was super easy to get this off the ground for us and for our clients. The support provided by the Birdeye team has been nothing short of fantastic.
Nachteile
I have heard from everybody on the team and even noticed it during our onboarding, there is a giant delay between when something is clicked to when it actually loads. Occasionally have issues with things never loading.

Vorteile
Birdeye has allowed our business owners to exponentially build their online presence and brand reputation through new Google reviews! The automated text message and email makes it super easy and efficient for the business owner and the customer. And our business owners love the feed that can be embedded on their website to showcase the quality reviews submitted.
Nachteile
It's been a great experience using the product yet we would prefer to have the option to choose whether to have the average rating show ...this seems to be an issue at the start of service where maybe the rating isn't the best it can be until new reviews are generated.

Ease of use for the client to use. The ability to do multiple locations is great. A twitter roll up feature would be great
Nachteile
The rollback accounts need to be set up by the admin and not having to call support to have it set up. Interface could be easier to use. Hard to find things. I would have a left side menu with all options or a wizard.

A consistent and inexpensive option for gaining reviews
Decent. Not outstanding, have had a fair amount of obstacles getting it set up for our multiple businesses. That being said, if you have a single location, this is a perfect inexpensive option.

Easy to automatically request reviews from customers without staff involvement.
Nachteile
The Webchat function is pretty lacking, since it has a lead gate built into it. Also, the API integrations are challenging to set up.

BirdEye is Perfect At One Thing, Bad Pricing
As stated above, my office selected BirdEye to boost our online reviews and online presence, in which, BirdEye perfectly pulled that off. Our office reviews skyrocketed thanks to BirdEye. My office stopped using BirdEye when we discovered another product for a much lower price point with more features.

BirdEye integrates with your dental software and helped our office boost our reviews on Facebook, Google, and all other social media sites. At the end of the business day, BirdEye texts all of our patients and gives them a route to easily post reviews about their office visit, which absolutely helped us gain reviews and online presence. The best part about this software is the dashboard that allows users to see review statistics. The customer service for this company is excellent.
Nachteile
The pricing. The pricing for BirdEye is way too expensive for the features provided.

Valuable Time Wasted
It starts with a welcoming and persistent sales team but when it comes to bugs and troubleshoots, forget it. The only time it was working was the first few weeks (2-3) reviews that SuperDrive up, but I had some clients where their reviews didn’t even show up at all and they weren’t against Google’s policy. I’ve had a problem for 2 months now and paid over $600 USD for a product that doesn’t work. My Instagram isn’t syncing with Birdeye. Every time I schedule a call to fix the issue, the agent is either sick, unavailable or MIA. The bug fixes are not progressing and is only being tossed around like a hot potato. I’ve been trying to cancel my account and I have to schedule a call in my busy schedule to deal with just that. I can’t get through to anyone that can help me. The worse customer service and product. It’s costing me more for my small business.

BirdEye Gouges Small Businesses Post-Pandemic with 104% Price Increase
They have shown poor ethics in the wake of the pandemic.
Vorteile
They were good for us before the pandemic. But since then, not so much. Their 104% price increase at a time when we and so many other Small Businesses are just starting to see some recovery is unconscionable.
Nachteile
When we contacted BirdEye post-pandemic to restore our subscription to their service, we were told we'd have to pay more than double our prior premium. We originally chose BirdEye for their reputation for small-business-centric features and service. But now it's obvious they have become a ruthless profiteer from the pandemic with little regard for the customer base who helped them grow.

Birdeye: A one stop shop
Birdeye has been great and has brought value to my clients and my company. They continue to evolve and stay up to date with the needs of the ever changing digital marketing world.

I like the review request campaigns. I like creating different templates and customizing settings. I like that I can view contact journeys and see how my clients interacted with the review request.
Nachteile
Looking forward to more reporting features. These should be fully customizable, schedulable and savable.

BirdEye at the Dental Office, I'm a fan.
Vorteile
BirdEye has been a useful tool to reach out to our friends, family, and patients via the internet. This has enabled us to get feedback on how we are doing. Good reviews, bad reviews, it's all been helpful. I am constantly amazed at who leaves reviews. Great software. BirdEye mentioned that the industrial average for dentistry is 4.7! It's nice to know that in general our profession is appreciated. :)
Nachteile
Yelp does reach out to our office on occasion asking us to advertise with them. I would be more inclined if Yelp would play nicer with BirdEye.

Vorteile
I like how quickly you can increase reviews for a client. I think integrating with a practice's pms is vital and makes things easier. I also enjoy being able to manually mark a patient from getting a review request
Nachteile
I don't like how the review request automatically directs them to leave a review. I wish it started with a screen asking if they had a good or bad experience. If it was good it can then direct them to leave a review but if it is bad then it would prompt a screen to send a message to the office on what caused the bad experience.

As an agency who is always looking for the best services for my clients success, I came across Birdey and was impressed from the first call. The operated immediately recognized my need, my problem, and addressed them both. In fact, she went over and beyond by getting the representive on the line who consults with my business type. Super impressed with the spead and service!

BirdEye Substantially Built Clients Businesses
As a reseller of the product, not only is there money to be made, it really works. I look like a superstar to my clients growing their businesses substantially....
Vorteile
The ease of use and the technical support are my favorite aspects of the software. Simple to set up and whenever in need, the technical support department is wonderful!!!!! I deal with a number of third party companies - tech support here is above and beyond. Best of all, the software really makes a difference for my clients as everyone thrives and flourishes on good reviews if so deserving!
Nachteile
In some ways it is a bit basic. Would like more control over the look and feel of the product - sometimes being told a change cannot be made. Also, would prefer more control on my end - rather than having to rely on tech support - although again they are a pleasure to work with.

A very positive experience, overall, so far

Reliable and functions as it should. competitive with other products. The microsite is a powerful marketing tool for clients.
Nachteile
Don't really have a problem with the software but sometime the Support team is slow in responding. I'm sure they're all busy but when my client has a problem with the service, then I have a problem and I need you guys to get on it quickly and help me out. Don't need 24 hour response, I need response and help in a matter of minutes for urgent issues. I've already lost 1 client due to slow support response. I was unable to provide a solution on my own. Would be really helpful if you guys would publish and distribute a USER FRIENDLY instruction manual which gives details of how to best use the system with ALL its features and functions.

Birdseye is great for patient engagement!
Overall I am very satisfied with Birdseye. From the user-friendly functionality of the software to the different and broad aspect of functions, I was able to do a lot more than initially expected.
Vorteile
The live chat/texting capability is great and easy to use especially if you have multiple locations. I used the software to develop and send customer satisfaction surveys. This function is great however when the results come in and the data is compiled there can definitely be improvement in the presentation aspect of it.
Nachteile
As stated above I was a bit disappointed with it results data from the surveys I sent out to customers. When using a rating scale system they compile the data and creates graphs etc. however they are very hard to read let alone present in a meeting. This function can definitely be improved.

Easy to use
I appreciate being able to respond to all reviews.

I like that with one login, I can see all my reviews in one place and respond to them from the same screen.

My only complaint is that it's hard to filter down to find a specific review, but it seems there have been some new features added that have taken care of that issue.

Excellent choice for reputation management with a few other bells & whistles too
I've had a great experience and again do appreciate the fact that they're swift to help with any problems. Many new features have rolled out lately - all of which we're learning more about so we can use these for clients too.
Vorteile
Our most favorite part of partnering with and reselling Birdeye is their customer support team. Truly, they're reachable and highly focused on solving any errors or glitches that may arise with anything automated and connected to a myriad of other sites.
Nachteile
Although not extremely important, the sizing of a client's cover photo (which then displays both on their reviews url along with anytime a review is shared to a FB page) seems to be more work that it should - particularly to make it look great on both mobile and desktop.

Birdeye - Good But Overpriced
Our experience wasn't bad. We got what we paid for. It is just that the software is on the extreme end of being overpriced. (For our purposes.) And it was pretty annoying when they started to call our clients individually, but I suppose that should be expected to a certain extent.

The software works. They keep it updated. It is easy to use. They pay attention to the industry and make changes when necessary. Whenever we had a customer service issue, the problem was resolved.
Nachteile
Even with the discount they give agencies, it is still expensive for low volume small businesses. I can see the value for a higher volume business. But most of our clients only had 3-5 reviews to request per month. We were able to find an alternative that works just as well but at a far lower price. (We can offer all of our clients this service for the cost of a single client with BirdEye.)
If you are an agency and cancel your agreement, they will go after your customers. It created a headache on our end because all of our clients were calling us wanting to know what the deal was. Just something to be aware of.
There were a few features missing that seemed like they would be included. But BirdEye is improving their system frequently. So I imagine that is just where the company is at rather than a reflection of their intention to put out a good product.

One stop shop
We have had a good experience, despite the minor hiccups.

The emails I get daily, help me keep track of what is going on at the shops, and how customers rate their experiences.

our product has been hacked a lot recently with fake reviews, I would like for their to be a way to negate these before it negatively impacts our ratings

Reputation Solicitation Is Fantastic
Very difficult onboarding process, limited support when issues arise. Directory listing service is not up to par with other providers like text.

Birdeye is a must have for any business.
We're extremely happy with Birdeye and all of the services that we subscribe to.
Vorteile
Birdeye makes it easy for existing customers to review their actual experience and it helps with the overall customer experience. Customers would always tell us they were happy with our service and they would always say they would leave a review online for us. It didn't always happen for different reasons but Birdeye makes it really easy for them to leave reviews inn just a couple of mouse clicks.
Nachteile
I wish it would work with Yelp like it does with Google.

I loved the features, but I was hesitant at the beginning because of the learning curve, but Birdeye assigned me [SENSITIVE CONTENT], and man, he really took his time and was always available to answer any questions I had. That made my decision to go with Birdeye a good decision for me, as I was afraid of not dedicating the time needed to learn it.
Now that I understand the software, its a beautiful tool!
I recommended it 100%
Nachteile
if I had to say something, I'd say the switching of customer accounts could be a lil bit quicker, but besides that the platform is grat and steady

A Solid Tool for Brand and Review Management
Vorteile
Birdeye is a solid tool, and is best for sourcing reviews and performing brand management. It makes automating review sourcing from clients very easy and as such is highly scalable for companies that have a high volume of customers to source reviews from.
Nachteile
For agencies managing several companies, the UI can make it a bit difficult to manage multiple users and businesses. Also, the reporting is relatively week and doesn't provide sophisticated, deeper insights into analyzing a brand's reputation.

BIRDEYE - Stay away!
Vorteile
Birdeye might be useful for those doing only monitoring. For those who want to generate reviews they are inconsistent and have no value add. ROI is 0%.
Nachteile
Birdeye lured us in with promises, but they didn't deliver. They are the master of the hard pitch but in the end they get you to pay a lot of money for almost no value added. Actually none in our case. For a review company it does not have the ability to externally review it on google, facebook, or almost any other third party sites I can find.
The whole organization used birdeye. However, birdeye was in fact not useful because it did not do what was promised. We were not able to have google reviews as part of our survey. We were not able to link to our third party rating websites that we needed to. The purchase was not useful and then they ignored us when we asked for our money back.

Worked Great for our Business
Our business had an issue with online reputation/review management. Through years of neglecting in addressing this issue, it just piled up with more and more negative reviews. The problem is that this was by no means an accurate reflection of the services we provide, rather it was from a few disgruntled or happy "customers" which is quite common in medicine. Once we implemented BirdEye, I started seeing the 5 star reviews pour in. We saw our Google review average go from a measly 3.3 to a 4.6 in 6 months, with other sites trending upwards similarly. As a result, we've seen an increase in our business and couldn't be happier.

It's easy and straightforward to use and really produced the results we were looking for.

Nothing really - I found it to be user friendly, intuitive, and loved the dashboard feature.

Easy to use, light years ahead the competitor platform
Vorteile
The implementation setup was easy with full support from Birdeye. The software platform is so easy to use and has a great reporting section. Also you can have automatic responses go out for good reviews.
Nachteile
Can't fault it for much, the custom set up for reveiew responses could have been labelled easier, so if a 3 star review came in, a 3 star auto response goes out. That would be helpful.

Great service and superior product
It's been great. Customer service is great and professional.
Vorteile
My favorite feature is the review platform (which is why we purchased the Birdeye product. However, the sms feature has proven a return on investment in itself. It was a feature I didn't think I would use but it has significantly increased our business.
Nachteile
I wish there was a better integration and easier way to leave reviews for platforms such as Yelp and Facebook. I know this is not a Birdeye problem as it is Yelp and Facebook policy issue. I also wish it integrated with Thumbtack.
