Best Maintenance App
Maintainx has been very helpful with any questions we have. They have always responded promptly.
When looking for an app which allows our small maintenance team to stay organized and communicate, we struggled to find something that was user friendly or not overly complicated.
MaintainX is by far the best app for our needs. It is so simple to use, yet it has all the features your team would need.

The chat feature within the app is great for keeping communication open.

My right hand
The wasting time having to call each team member and discuss the issue and when it's stated and then when it's finished. I get notifications of all that without really having to micro manage

MaintainX
This is a wonderful and useful program for any corporation and I would highly recommend it!
Vorteile
With our team of guides, we are usually all working different shifts and have different Responsibilities, with MaintainX it makes it easier to communicate what type of projects and maintenance needs to be done and which have priority. Before using this program it took much longer to get important things done. We are now able to assign task to teams, with a photo, description of the work that needs to be done, what tools and supplies are needed and even keep track of When inspections need to be completed.
Nachteile
Originally I helped our manager set up the program so I was able to see the full program and keep track of all the maintenance going on around the park, due to the cost of the program, once it was finished being set up, I was bumped down to just being a user. From the users point of view, I find it difficult to keep track of projects that need to be done or have already been completed.

Music Label Loves MX!
Amazing!
Vorteile
Forget Bandcamp, Monday or other team productivity software, MX is where it is at! Everyone can easily print their work orders and see what is due when. We love the many features and ways MX keeps us organized.
Nachteile
It is expensive. Bandcamp was free. I wish it linked to Google Calendar and GroupMe some how. I wish there was a DAY overview feature.

Great Functionality for Great Price
Vorteile
App-based software for everyone to have EASY access and download right to their phone. Enables users to report needs FASTER and goes DIRECTLY TO FACILITIES team without delay. VERY ORGANIZED and able to view work orders based on different settings (most often sorted by due date and priority level). VERY CLEAN DESIGN, not confusing to implement for workplace. VERY USER FRIENDLY. Able to view work orders on desktop and phone - updated simultaneously.
Nachteile
There is very little if anything to not like! Perhaps having an option to have a preset setting when people type in key words to automatically fill out the rest of the work order and be sent to the appropriate team, rather than having to pass through an admin. But that would be very picky. The software works great and we have loved it!

Wish I had this sooner!
I really appreciate the ability to look at report to completion timelines, the number of work orders that are still open, which have crossed their deadline, read notes on the orders, etc. It is very comprehensive and we have incorporated all of our preventative maintenance into the system as well.
Vorteile
Every option/feature that I wanted in the software's capability was there. The fact that is was so user-friendly made it a no brainer!
Nachteile
I don't really have any cons. If you and your staff learn how to navigate the app, it is easy.

Great product for running an Airport
Still developing best utilization and have yet to take advantage of all feature, but having basically built a facility management system from scratch using MaintainX provides a great deal of insight on best practices.
MaintainX has been extremely helpful for overall asset management, document storage, budget justifications, proof of regulatory compliance.

NO MORE PAPERWORK, ALL ON-LINE, EXTREMELY DETAILED FOR PAPERWORK TRAILING, IS A GREAT CRACK FILLER (PREVENTS WORK FALLING IN THE CRACKS), SAVES TIME FOR CREATOR OF WORK ORDER, SAVES TIME FOR THOSE WHO WORK THE ORDERS, NO MORE HAVING TO CALL OR COME INTO THE OFFICE ALL THE TIME, SUPERVISOR/MANAGER IS ABLE TO SEE PRODUCTION AND WHO PRODUCES.

CREATING A WORK ORDER, GETTING INTERRUPTED AND HAVING TO REVIEW SOMETHING ELSE, THEN HAVING TO START ALL OVER IN GENERATING THE WORK ORDER, BUT MAY BE A WAY AROUND THIS AND I JUST HAVEN'T FIGURED IT OUT YET.

Maintenance tech perspective
I check the program in the evenings so I can see and schedule important tasks in advance for the coming day.
Vorteile
This software is very easy to use and allows all stakeholders (employees) to input needs. This allows for notifications to service providers and managers to keep track of needs and work flow. Very nice software!

I honestly can't think of of anything I dislike about this software.

Helpful in automating reports and expedite tasks
Vorteile
Procedure templates! Definitely saves a lot of time and eliminates inconsistent reports and reduce missed task checklists. My team now follows up systematically without having the need of physical follow up meetings. Everything can run seamlessly and independently
Nachteile
Firstly the lack of user access control customisation. Right now it's either a full user or nothing, so it's impossible to protect the database from being intentionally deleted or amended. It would be good to be able to set different privileges for different user depending on the role each user has.

It really is a personal assistant
Organization, control and tracking.
Vorteile
Clean, easy GUI, lots of KPIs, User friendly and most of all reliable.
Nachteile
Not many billing options. Per user billing. That gets expensive quickly. Many users view and track the WOs and don't use the software to make add information and make changes. Their use of the software is about 10% but we would be charged 100% of the price.

Vorteile
MaintainX offers an easy to use, logical, mobile friendly app. Our mechanics and drivers use it to report issues and document fixes. Reporting is available and the product is fairly priced.
Nachteile
The team added reporting functionality, which is helpful but I would like to see additional options offered.

God Provides
As stated above, MaintainX's support is top-notch... They have a very responsive team knowledgeable with their product.
Vorteile
This software/app is very user friendly. Anyone regardless of computer skills should easily be able to use MaintainX.
Within minutes I have set up multiple reoccurring maintenance work-orders.
Nachteile
I have found some deficiencies/lack of features however, the support team is very responsive and appreciates the feedback. One recent addition I would love to see implemented is being able to sort work-orders by assigned worker and priority level.

Game Changer
Vorteile
This software was a game changer for my business. I am able to create job cards (work orders), upload images of my illustrations, track costings, track my time spent, prioritise, keep procedure lists for individual orders, run reports for orders made per month and completed orders per month.
When ever i have a query the customer care team promptly gets back to me with meaningful and useful information.
For a one man show is brilliant, but it is tailored to large companies and personal. It makes tracking, organising and time management an absolute breeze so i can focus on completing my actual work.
Nachteile
I would like to be able to personalise some of the language and categories used, as it is set up for a more maintenance and mechanic business systems.

I like it very much.
Vorteile
Easy to learn, easy to use. I like the fact that the data/info is always there if needed.
Nachteile
I wish you would get rid of the tab "DONE" and replace it with "COMPLETED". I've asked about this, and it is supposed to be looked at, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Huge asset for multi-property hotel group
It has taken a lot of coordination off of my plate and allowed a simple method of communication from the line-level staff to completion of repairs and needs. Well worth it!
Vorteile
Ease of use. The functionality is seamless for users in different departments and properties to communicate and coordinate. A task can be created and assigned to maintenance, who can then assign it to the ordering department when they identify parts needed, reassigned to maintenance when the parts arrive, then assigned to housekeeping for final clean and completion of the task. Also easy to customize to meet our specific needs.
Nachteile
There were a couple misses that we found when first using the software. For example, you couldn't filter tasks by property. That said, when we raised it with the MaintainX team they added it almost immediately!

Zero to organized in 6 mos
MaintainX has pretty well streamlined all the aspects of our fleet repair and maintenance programs. When I took this position in Feb. 2019 there was no fleet maintenance or repair programs, procedures or protocol. We were only responding and putting out "fires". With help from MaintainX I was able to put together successful work flows and implement a fleet program we are now entering month 6 and still loving it.
Vorteile
user friendly interface, easy to use. The neatness of the work order PDF exports is very professional. Ability to build asset profiles and share with all users.
Nachteile
I feel that there could be some improvement with reporting and sharing.

Nachteile
I would like, raw materials inventory, customer data base, suppliers data base and the posibility to set the priority of levels from 1 to 10, so the operator finishes the highest level but knows what is the next right after.

every employee is included on the one application and it is very easy to make sure everything is getting finished in a timely manner.

I wish there were a drop-down menu where I could fill out an accident report, for instance. There is a template, but some items are completely different.

Simple Set Up on Maintain X
Overall a very reasonable price program and simple to use. I have seen some good advances in the past 6 months with reporting features and look forward to future updates.

Software is very simple to use and set up. In the last 6 months the customer service has become much more helpful and they are definately adding more features.
Nachteile
There are some items that can not be changed by the user. Examples such as service dates - if you enter the work order after the fact you can not go back and modify the date so reporting is off.

Look no further
We've eliminated the problem of work being dropped, maintenance being overlooked, and we're now seeing which team members are contributing more to our success simply by the volume of work orders they're creating and completing.
Vorteile
Ease of use. A lot of my users are older and not tech savvy, myself included. This software is very intuitive, and makes it simple to use. We've had very little interaction with the MaintainX team since implementation simply because we've been able to figure things out on our own very easily.

Not a bad option for the price
I use it to schedule my techs on service calls

Free, helps track time spent on a job, helps bill accurately.
Nachteile
Scheduling is a pain as you cant reorder the jobs on a calendar. Cant easily see who is assigned to a job in calendar view. Many of the pro features are not really useful to me, making it hard to justify the upgrade.

Streamlining work & allowing for productivity
Better more transparent communication, incentivizes staff to complete work orders within the time frame and has a in-app chat that is very helpful.
Vorteile
The ability to have a closed loop system for Work Orders. No more losing paper work orders or struggling to read illegible handwriting. I also really liked being able to put in our procedures and therefore removing more paper waste.
Nachteile
Wish there were a function where the administrators determined more of visibility. Full/ no visibility is not quite what I need for some of my staff.

Very Easy To Use Work Order System
Our overall experience with MaintainX has been great. They have great customer support, a very easy to set-up system, and the system very easy for users to learn and use.

Finally the App That Has Everything I Have Been Looking For!
This app is very user friendly and does everything I want it to. The items most important to me: (1) I am finally able to organize the maintenance tasks I assign, and see the status of each at a moment's glance and (2) I can categorize by project type or location or anything I can dream of, and the multiple tags I can apply per work order make it easy to sort and organize.

Great for following the process
Its a great way to monitor within the company what is getting done when and by who. It is also a great tool to use for audits if you need to prove that mainteance is being done accounted for.
Its a generally good resource for accountability and communication

Keeps getting better and better!
We are maintaining a consistence repair schedule, requester's have real time updates, and the reporting side of app insures accountability. Everyone in our district loves the simplicity.

We like the ease and mobility of the app.
Nachteile
I would like to see the way you sign up change. Mandating that users MUST use their cell phone numbers is an conflict with co-workers, and when you try to register, most people create new organizations, instead of joining their organization.

So far so good...Once I get my parts and stores organized I'll use the paid version and upload my inventory..

The ability to take pictures and upload them to the work order with a description is great..the group texting is great, the ability to create assets is awesome...
Nachteile
I would like it if I could add users that can only see the asset I assign to them and nothing else...The asset owner could monitor the work order as we upload to it and approve work through the app in the comments section...

I love MaintainX!
Excellent!
Vorteile
I love how easy and useful this work order system is. It streamlines our Techs day and makes it easier for everyone. I like how we can export work orders and how we can also keep track of inventory as well.
Nachteile
This system took about a week for everyone to get the hang of. After that it was amazing.

Great, easy to use program for your team!
My experience overall has been extremely positive. I was looking at MaintainX as a solution to solve auditing and record keeping for my maintenance department, and it was the perfect option.
Vorteile
I most liked the ease of use, the user friendly UI, the cost, and the customer service.
Nachteile
I feel it is unnecessarily difficult to edit certain aspects of work order (for example, if you added the wrong form template, I was unable to just delete that template out of the work order and add a new one. I had to archive and redo the entire work order).

Property Manager Lives By MaintenanceX
I love their customer service. Always prompt at answering all my simple questions and SUPER helpful! I can’t tell you how much I love this software. It makes me look brilliant in my job! I manage a luxury property and I manage all the vendors through this. It’s awesome and keeps me organized.

We are really sorry to hear that you haven't had a fantastic experience with our product to date.
As far as everyone not being able to view all tickets, that is a setting that your Manager has put in place on the permissions side to restrict the visibility of sensitive information to certain folks on your team. We followed up with him and concluded that the restrictions were intentional and working as desired.

Works LIke advertized
We were looking for a tool that would keep track of all maintenance requests across our 60 locations. We also wanted a way to track costs for parts as well as labor. Wanted to be able to run reports and create invoices.
Vorteile
Like the ease of use; once setup, the software is extremely easy to use. Customer support was outstanding. Keeps track of all maintenance and IT work.
Nachteile
Haven't found any Cons yet; at some point would like to integrate with other applications.

A view from a managers perspective
Our team works to accomplish 400 jobs per day and we are integrating all of our systems onto this platform in stages. The company has been very easy to work with, and always professional and precise.
I am optimistic when the reporting side is up and running this will be our long term solution to CMMS operations.
Vorteile
Very user friendly - the ease of use for the end user is done very well.
Short learning curve for end users
The contact folks are always very receptive, and gracious taking the time necessary to help us with issues.
Nachteile
The high end administrator and management tools are in development. Not very robust at this time, but the company has been very open to improvements and implementation of changes.
