Niedriger Preis, aber insgesamt nicht überzeugend.
Für einfache E-Mail-Marketing Cases lässt sich Mailjet durchaus verwenden, sobald der Case aber etwas anspruchsvoller wird, kommt die Plattform sehr schnell an ihre Grenzen.
Vorteile
Mailjet lässt sich einfach bedienen und ist relativ preisgünstig. Der E-Mail-Editor bietet einen hohen Funktionsumfang.
Nachteile
Das System wird leider kaum noch weiterentwickelt. Der Funktionsumfang ist sehr überschaubar. Unsere Erfahrungen mit dem Support sind eher schlecht.

Oberflächliche, schlecht bzw. gar nicht ereichbare Firma.
Vorteile
Preis - aber nur billiger reicht eben nicht, wenn substanziell schadenverursachende Handlungsweisen der Firma Mailjet die Folge sind.
Nachteile
Der bereits bezahlte Account wurde ohne jegliche Rücksprache geschlossen. Login funktioniert nicht. Es gibt keine relevante Kontaktmöglichkeit. Es gibt keien Möglichkeit, die genutzten Kontaktlisten zu downloaden, abgemeldete Kontakte zu selektieren oder sonstige Nutzung/Auswertung der EIGENEN Kontakte und Kampagnen. Das Verhalten der Firma Mailjet ist absolut unkorrekt und es verursacht einen nicht unerheblichen Schaden.

Trust broken: Leaving Mailjet after years
We were using Mailjet since 2017 for our SaaS company. The API is okay, they have a good deliverability and it's important for an emailing company.
However in 2025 they suspended our account without notice for two weeks. The customer service was awful, it took a full week of frustrating back-and-forth communication to finally get the reason for the suspension.
The reason was "a slightly high unsubscribe rate" for a newsletter sent ten month prior...
As a SaaS, our primary use of Mailjet was for transactional and onboarding emails, with marketing campaigns being infrequent (maybe once every two years). They asked me what was onboarding emails...
To compound the issue, immediately after initially restoring our account, it was suspended again for an additional two days.
While our account was ultimately restored, the significant breach of trust caused by the arbitrary suspension led us to migrate to another French email service provider.
Vorteile
The main reason why we chose Mailjet is because they were a French company with fair prices. They also have a good deliverability.
Nachteile
The UI was buggy and sometimes hard to use. We got issues with their stats, sometimes they were wrong (missing status or contacts).

A basic service and easy to use
Overall I'm super happy with Mailjet. It's easy to use and not complicated.
Vorteile
All options are easy to get started, and the best feature is booking emails. One of the interesting features of this system is that you can send transactions and emails on the same platform.
Nachteile
I like using Mailjet, but I don't like that some emails are tagged as spam, so I have to check the spam.

Used to be great, until they outsourced support...
Used to work great, migrated away from Mailchimp to Mailjet and for nearly 4 years, every week we sent out mailers successfully to over 75 000 subscribers.
Until one subscriber complained (despite all our subscribers being opt-in) And support consisted of folks who can only reply scripted responses and not English as a first language. Without us explaining, they simple throttled our send limits.
The irony is. THEIR wordpress plugin handles subscriptions, but support wants to know how customers subscribe to our mailing list. After explaining 3 times that its via a form that is setup by their very own plugin. Support shifts the goal posts.
Anyway, we run a business and have no patience to deal with inept call center drones who treat customers like crap. We promptly cancelled. Not surprising they dont even have a retentions system.
Now moved over to Email Octopus & Amazon AWS - never better, support is not only responsive but takes the time to actually read and have a human respond, not a copy and paste drone reply.

Closed minded & discriminating service not supporting good causes

Signed up yesterday. All good. When I was going to sign in today, it didn't work. I needed to send mail's.
It said the account had been closed for undisclosed reasons. How strange! I tried to change the password & login again. Didn't work. Contacted them abd they basically says same. They couldn't say the reason. How incredibly strange and discriminating. I run yoga & meditation retreats, help people connect to their souls, respect nature and animals, heal & grow. We also have a charity.
Si they are AGAINST supporting good work that helps people. Good work with good intentions. Very shocking and discriminating. Bad! Believe they're run by non humans ( robots ) who are against people doing good work and who are close to nature.

Everything seemed nice, until they froze my account
Vorteile
We chose Mailjet because it had packages based on the amount of messages sent. We do not store any contacts and we only use this service for transactional emails. It also comes with an easy-to-use API.
Nachteile
We were using Mailjet for our service. One day, we received an email that our account has been compromised and it was suspended. We tried to contact their support team multiple times over 7 days, asking them to give us some more information about the emails that were being sent. We also informed them that we changed our password and our API keys. They didn't even reply to us and they closed our tickets, damaging our product.

I never experienced a worse quality of support then these guys deliver
They suspended our account without notice because they suspect spam is being sent.
Already waiting 7 days to be helped. We are a SaaS application and our entire system uses mailjet as a backend. Very risky.

Mail In A Hurry!
Vorteile
There is an extensive and wide variety of email templates that allow you to send and receive emails based around marketing campaigns and/or automated messages, I love that it allows you to add and remove people to the structure of your math emails. Also, you can lock the email itself and only allow certain permissions to certain people so it gives each person a role that you give access via the mail jet system
Nachteile
This is definitely a more fifth Decatur set up, this will work excellent with B2b but it’s not self owned start-up business focused.

Vorteile
I appreciate how simple it is to use. Despite its flaws, the online email editor is helpful. List administration is straightforward. The scenarios are simple to construct and effective. I use Mailjet's professional servers and am very pleased with the rate of mail delivery.
Nachteile
The interface is not easy to use, especially if you are familiar with other services. A large portion of it does not function as intended. It can take a long time to keep attempting a task before the system responds. The server's response time is excruciatingly slow.

Works great! Easy to Use! Very Reliable!
My overall experience with Mailjet is that it is excellent software. It is easy to use, it just works, it's easy to set up, it provides awesome verification of my mail reaching its destination, I will continue to be a happy Mailjet user for years to come.
Vorteile
I appreciate Mailjet for a couple of reasons. The first and most important is reliability. My E-mails always get sent out, and they always reach their destination. Mailjet is careful about preventing users from using it as a spam gateway, which means it has a good reputation which means that other companies and servers do not block Majiljet which means that my mail gets sent out properly. The second thing I love most about Mailjet is how easy it is to set up. When I went to set it up, the configuration was simple, and it started to work quickly. I also love Mailjet because it has a useful dashboard that allows me to check and ensure that my E-mail did get sent out and reached its intended recipient. That leaves me never wondering whether my message was received or not.
Nachteile
What I appreciate least about this software is that there have been limitations placed on my account which limits how many E-mails I can send out within a specific period of time. While I have never reached the limit, or even really approached the limit as far as I am aware, and I am aware it is to ensure that spam is not sent out, I still felt that the limitation was not necessary and although I continue to happily use the software, and will continue to do so, this would probably continue to be my least favorite aspect of using Mailjet.

Terrible Email Marketing Platform
Horrible. Big mistake in signing up, won't ever go back, even if they offered a free top tier account.

The price - it was the most competitive on price

Everything else. There is a reason it's the cheapest. The platform looks like it was developed in the early 2000's, and functions as such. It's extremely click heavy. And major functionality has not worked for over a month with no ETA in sight for a fix. Support took many days to reply, despite promising a response within 24 hours. When asked about a refund so I could go elsewhere once the issue was determined to be on their end and had no fix in sight, they offered a joke of an amount. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Mailjet facilitates product management
In general I like Mailjet. You set up it once and you forget about it because you know that it is running like clockwork. I always recommend it to my colleagues.
Vorteile
Mailjet is quite easy to set up and use. The latest improvements that were implemented this year make the creation of nice looking emails for different platforms very convenient. User-friendly, colorful and intuitively understandable.
Nachteile
The most irritating thing about Mailjet is when the account is blocked for some reason and you message to the support they just say "Sorry, your domain triggered some of our security rules. We unblock your account". They never say what exactly is incorrect with the domain despite the fact that it could help their customer to improve his domain security or change the hosting. Or as another example, when you have just created your account, you may get the message "Sorry, your domain triggered some of our security flags. We cannot allow you to use our system." No any other clarification what exactly their security system didn't like. And you have to go to their competitors.

Support levels unacceptable
Support is non-existent when it is required. Getting locked out an account leaves nowhere for contact or account resolution.
If your business is depending on such a service, my recommendation it to go elsewhere .

When Mailjet it working, it works to an acceptable level.
Nachteile
The support is of the lowest standard possible. We have been left high and dry multiple times now. There is zero care factor about resolution and response times are shocking. We spend several thousands per annum and have implemented customers directly with Mailjet also, but is still not of interest to Mailjet.

UI is too slow. how did you manage to make this slow? I am using mailjet for years in various companies and the interface has always been spinning. I can't stand seeing you spinner anymore. please hire a bew PM and a new frontend dev team. this is not acceptable.
UX is too confusing. red banners, warnings all over the place for a feature I did not even ask for (10K emails per day if I recall correctly)
Navigation is terrible. why are you doing this to us ?
template management is awkward

Outstanding Mailing Management Software
Vorteile
MailJet is extremely easy to use and makes the process of generating mailings extremely simple. The UI for generating mailings is intuitive and simple, yet powerful and able to accomodate pretty much anything you'd want to put into an email. I use it generally for doing newsletters to a large group of about 5,000 subscribers.
The overall interface for managing Contacts lists and Campaigns is well done and understandable. Adding and removing subscribers from Contact lists is fairly straightforward and mostly great.
On the rare occasions when I've needed support, they've always been extremely fast and knowledge-able, and solved the issue in short order.
Nachteile
Three things about Contact lists are a bit annoying:
1) There doesn't seem to be any way to automatically remove Unsubscribed Contacts: you have to download them manually, then upload them to remove them.
2) Same thing with Bounced or other Contacts that you discover from the post-Campaign analysis: there's no button to say "Remove these from my Contact List": you must download them, then remove them through the removal interface
3) Errors from uploading new Contacts is a little clunky when there are errors: again it generates a file that you have to download and look at separately. For most errors (duplicate address, typos, invalid format, etc) in the little uploads that I do as part of expanding the list, I'd just like to see the darned things immediately on the screen so that I could either ignore them (i.e. dups) or fix them (typos & invalid format). Only if the errors go beyond some threshold (say more than 10, and it could be user-settable), should it do the file-generate-and-download thing.

I would have a lot to write here. Here's a few:
- server breaks down often and the entire platform is unreachable (therefore, you can not send your newsletters in due time)
- poor templates, compared to other email marketing tools (no html editing available, only import)
- a looot of small, frustrating errors (faulty reports, empty reports exactly when you need them, the test email not being sent, changes in templates not saved and you have no clue why)
- no auto-clean option for the contact lists
- quite poor segmentation options for the contact lists

MailJet better than Most
Overall, it changed my life for the better. I have a newsletter that I send out to almost 5,000 weekly. Mailjet has earned me new business, makes it EASY to create my newsletter. I haven't mastered segmentation yet, but, out of all the other platforms. Mailjet took me to a higher level with better "reach". I would recommend this to anyone that truly wants to increase their marketing exposure.
Vorteile
For me, mailjet came in right on time. I had tried Mailchimp, Sendgrid and a few others. I like that you can do more in a quick period of time. The "template maker" is relatively easy to use, to those that are familiar with making on line newsletters. If this is our first time to this rodeo, it will have a slight learning curve, but nothing that will take you out the game. I like that you can add MANY MORE subscribers for a lot less money than the other places
Nachteile
I HATE the "Subscription Boxes", they are NOT user friendly, and you can only do HTML. Someone needs to do these over. They are kinda sucky. Just the entire "subscriber addition" platform needs a do over

Mailjet works very well as an SMTP service
Sending large amounts of email from our ecommerce website, both of a transactional and marketing nature, is hard. Mailjet helps make this easier, and helps get our emails to our customers, and consistently offers excellent advice and functionality for making this work better both for us and for our customers.

The Customer Support is excellent. They are very proactive about identifying delivery issues, and are often introducing new features.
Nachteile
I wish it kept logs longer to help troubleshoot issues after they have happened.

One stop for your email marketing needs - MailJet!
We needed a marketing email service as we already had a transactional email service with us. MailJet fulfilled our needs and we cam on board with a paid plan soon later and haven't looked back.
Vorteile
One of the first services we found when we searched on Google was Mailjet.
- It super easy sign up. Just fill a form and verify your email..
- There is a very short approval interval time, you can upload your list and then start sending right away.
- Approval is after you sent the first of your mails, so you get a lot of time to test everything and check where your emails end up and when.
- Full suite to design emails right on the website.
- Simple email design and all options right on your dashboard.
- Link and verify your domain to use to send emails.
- Per 1000 emails rate is lesser than competition.
Nachteile
- Some of our early accounts were suspended due to some list verification stuff. If needed, that should have been done before we started campaigns so that there were no interruptions.
- Emails get bounced sometimes even when the recipient address exists.
- Some emails still went directly to spam, so that should not happen.

Longtime fan and user for years.
Allows 3rd party applications to send email without having to open up security on mail servers, and does so with ease.
Vorteile
MailJet is targeted more at being used for email marketing, but it is the perfect solution for 3rd party applications that require SMTP service but for one reason or another an organization cannot use their own mail server. (Also allows tracking for those 3rd party app mailings if you want to get fancy.) It's been my go to through several employment changes where I always end up needing it for one thing or another, and I've recommended to clients many times over.
The support is always fantastic as well - they've always been responsive and on top of things, even when I was only using a free account. This has made them the first SMTP service I think of, always.
Nachteile
The only real challenge I've faced was that the API keys can sometimes be too long for older applications. (And some poorly built ones.) This is not really a fault of MailJet -- the longer API keys make for better security, but it can just be a roadblock sometimes. (MailJet support is right on the case for it though.)
In the years I've been using it (I think I first discovered them 4 or 5 years ago - not exactly sure how long, I've experienced an outage or two. Frustrating when it happens, but then any internet service is subject to that from time to time.

I thought it was going to be difficult to setup but it was a breeze!
The biggest benefit is of course to be able to mass mail without having an issue with getting your own email server liste.
Vorteile
The thing I like most is that as a service it just works, the end. I have never had any service related issues from Mailjet.
Nachteile
I hate to say nothing but so far I have had no complaints with the product or the service. So far all has been exactly as promised.

Le pire service en ligne au monde
Cela fait 1 an que je suis client chez Mailjet.
Nous sommes une agence de développement et nous utilisons leur système smtp pour la gestion des emails depuis nos sites web.
Environs tous les 3 mois notre compte est suspendu pour ce qu'il pense être une faille dans mes accès.
Je sais qu'il n'en est rien.
Que mon compte soit bloqué c'est une chose mais qu'il faille attendre 4, 5 ou 6 jours pour le remettre en place est véritablement scandaleux.
C'est un préjudice lourd pour notre réputation.
De + quand vous êtes bloqué vous ne savez plus accéder au site et donc impossible de savoir ce qu'il se passe réellement.
Maintenant que j'ai accès, on me stipule que mon renouvellement (automatique) n'a pas pu s'effectuer, on me propose de relancer la procédure.... et impossible (une erreur s'est produite).
Je profite de ce post aussi pour critiquer le fait qu'une grande partie des actions nécessite de passer par leur "service" support qui met littéralement des jours à répondre.
Évidemment, impossible de les appeler ou de les contacter en direct.
Prendre les gens en otage par des process qui ne sont pas au point est vraiment lamentable !
Je vous conseille BREVO. Très très pro

depuis une campagne en juillet 2023 que nous avons réalisée et dans laquelle, il y avait des contacts que nous n'avions pas validés suivant le double opt-in, mailjet ,nous a d'abord mis en erreur avec impossibilité d'envoyer et d'accéder à nos données.
puis impossibilité de comprendre et d'avoir un support pour nous aider, malgré de nombreuses relances.
j'ai d"épensé un abonnement et des heures de temps sans succès.
je retente ma chance cette année en vérifiant bien notre fichier composé que de clients et je me heurte de nouveau à leur juriste qui me demande de prouver que ce sont bien des clients qui acceptent mes campagnes d'email (200 clients en tout...), et avec lequel j'échange par mail.

REGRETS, regret et regrets : quelle perte de temps à se connecter tout simplement. Tout devrait bien fonctionner car je commence à bien maitriser leur interface mais .... quand ça ne va pas : c'est .... REGRETS pour rester polie !

Si jamais vous avez un souci, et j'en rencontre beaucoup ces derniers temps,
on vous répond qu'on transmet au collègue.
Vous pouvez attendre et vous êtes dans l'embarras (je reste polie!) et vous voilà livrés au néant ! Adieu newsletter en préparation, adieu interface etc... Je pense changer dès que possible de fournisseur !

Globalement un bon outil de communication et pratique dans une organisation. Cependant, il nécessite un travail supplémentaire au niveau des fonctionnalités de design.

Un outil de Marketing et de commerce très pratique pour communiquer à grande échelle et pour programmer des campagnes commerciales ou informatives.
Nachteile
Les fonctionnalités de design qui sont limitées.
Le fait que l'on ne puisse intégrer trop de photos pour éviter de tomber dans les spams sans pouvoir éditer des designs élaborés via les fonctionnalité de l'application, cela limite les possibilités et on se retrouve vite à faire des campagnes très classiques.

Great for Basic Email Marketing
Mailjet has all the basics and does them well if you need a solid email marketing platform with no frills. You can create, edit, manage, schedule and optimize with ease.
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to learn how to use Mailjet. In just a few short hours, I felt like I was a pro at navigating the platform as well as creating and updating new emails to send to my contact lists. If you've worked with website or email platforms before, Mailjet will be a breeze for you to learn.
Nachteile
We have run into some issues with the size of our email lists and high bounce rates and then we are unable to send as many emails as we need. But, after troubleshooting and contacting support, those issues were easy to fix and we were back to regular email marketing for our clients. We send emails to new email lists all the time, so it's best for our delivery rates if we send emails to new lists at the same time as lists we've sent to before.
Sometimes, the email editor feels a little clunky, and I have to make font, color or other style changes a certain way to make them exactly how I want. But in the end, I'm always able to create a solid email that delivers well and gives me easy-to-understand metrics after delivery.

Service client pitoyable et condescendant
Le service client remet en cause la réalité de mes sociétés, bloque mes campagnes, me demande sans arret les memes chose avec des interlocuteurs différents, obligé de renvoyer sans cesse les infos et documents, perte de temps, échanges répétitifs par tickets, aucune chance d'avoir un interlocuteur au bout du fil pour que cela aille plus vite

Je n'ai utilisé le logiciel que peu de temps le service m'ayant bloqué mes campagnes en mettant en doute mes entreprises malgré preuve à l'appui. Grosse perte financière n'ayant pu faire mes campagnes promotionnelles
Nachteile
Le service client pénible et totalement obtus, pénible et sous le prétexte de la réglementation fait du zèle malgré les éléments transmis tous en ordre.

The delivery of emails and the stats is very detailed is their strong point so you get the complete picture of your campaigns.
Vorteile
The system they use to send and deliver your emails is well done, but can get quite detailed. Keep in mind this is how your mails get a high deliverablility.
Nachteile
This softward is strongly designed for team colaboration, and the learning curve is quite high. I also tried to contact support and it took them a long time to get back to me, and then several exchanges by email to get my inquiry solved.

Mailjet nous a été conseillé par une autre direction de notre entreprise qui nous a fait des retours d'expérience positive. Nous l'utilisons pour créer la newsletter trimestrielle de notre direction puis pour la diffuser.
Vorteile
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les fonctions de personnalisation du produit et de mise en page.
Nachteile
-Parfois l’aperçu du bandeau "perd" l'image qui a été intégré-Lorsque le texte est trop long , nous n'avons pas trouvé de fonction pour réduire l'aperçu qui est envoyé par e-mail. L'utilisateur reçoit une page identique à celle qui est consultable en ligne.
