Learnworlds ist eine All-In-One-Lösung und eigentlich genau das was wir gesucht haben und teilweise auch darin gefunden haben. Es ist recht einfach einen Kurs anzulegen und eine dazugehörige Website.

Nachteile

Es gibt kein Feature Request System. Alle Feature Request werden von Learnworlds intern bearbeitet. So hat man als Kunde überhaupt keine Einsicht darin. Uns fehlen sehr viele essenzielle Funktionen wie z.B. Affiliates über Gutscheincodes tracken, Question Banks in Vollständigkeit per CSV importieren (nur sehr bedingt möglich), Conditional Content je nach Nutzer im Kurs anzeigen, Interaktive Fragen (H5P), etc.

Vorteile

What I like most about LearnWorlds is the user interface, it is simple and easy to navigate, it does not have confusing menus, it is a good platform to offer training and professional skills in a company, What sets it apart is the constant innovation of the team to improve the platform. I've worked with other learning platforms like Docebo and Edcast, but LearnWorlds is a perfect fit for me. Its user inteface is intuitive, especially if you are already familiar with Wordpress and Microsoft office. The platform also offers excellent training through its Masterclass series and Academy, making it easy to pick up new features.

Nachteile

The learning curve for people who have not worked with these types of platforms before can be long. Because it takes time to get used to.

LW is a user-friendly LMS for businesses of all sizes. The site has so many features and capabilities, and the list keeps growing.

My favorite part about LW is the customer service. It knocks the big tech companies out of the park. They respond within less than an hour and truly care about helping your company succeed. The support teams provide relevant answers with screenshots, videos, and specific examples. This is a critical piece for any LMS platform.

As a developer and senior marketing manager, I love working with a team of tech wizards who know how to ask the right questions to dig deeper, identify the root issues, and help find a feasible solution. Tell me another company that does this AND within less than an hour?

Nachteile

This is very minor, but we would love to see some more functionality and customizations for our LW site. On the plus side, LW is fantastic about submitting our constant (daily to weekly) feedback to their product teams. LW is always launching new features, so again, this is a minor item.

Vorteile

While the feature set appears promising, the combination of inadequate customer service and a subpar UI/UX is a deal breaker in my opinion.

It's a company where profit takes precedence over customer service.

We changed our LMS to LearnWorlds because the value for money was so much better than our old solution. We found equivalent or even better functionality in terms of flexibility and customization. This gain is well worth the price we paid, which is much lower than what we were paying before, for a less satisfactory service.

Nachteile

The only problem we have encountered with LearnWorlds is the translation of school emails, which is not possible. So we found workarounds for several emails, but for the rest, we were forced to put all 4 languages with flags in them. We think it's a shame for an LMS that adapts to multilingualism not to offer the functionality of translating emails according to a user tag.

The richness of features helps to create training courses, with a whole host of well-designed marketing and pedagogical templates.

Technical support is extremely responsive and always very friendly.

All the tools and interface is in english, but i create all my website in french without problem

Rich in functionality, has very good uptime, and has very responsive Tech Support.

Nachteile

There is some minor functionality missing, such as adding permissions for Discuss to instructors (currently only available to Communications roles or Administrator), more API functionality for automation, and better functionality parity with mobile and web.

The fact that I could create my own course pages without the need for an IT expert or web designer.

Nachteile

The fact that during creation of a course page, upon editing the sections (underlining, leaving blank spaces, making bold etc.) my changes keep on disappearing and I need to redo them, which takes a lot of time.

Whenever I have a query, technical or user related, the team reply promptly and professionally and solve it. On some occasions my requests can not be met due to system restrictions and in these cases they always escalate to their dev team to consider. Amazing service!

Sometimes my queries can not be resolved as they are system restrictions.

LearnWorlds is an excellent LMS that is easy to use and scale. In addition to the Learning Management Cababilities, it also has complete Content Management System features, making it possible to have your training content and marketing website in the same place.

Nachteile

Advanced integrations are not part of the initial license, but that is expected.

With LearnWorlds we had the digital hub we needed to create courses or give presentations on new skills. I loved the abundance of templates that allowed us to format and prepare content for presentation seamlessly. I loved the ease of sending links to target audiences, and documenting their completion of viewing. I loved its efficiency in preparing digital tests, collecting correct answers, displaying the final result, and preparing lists of all the results. It is great that it works as a marketing tool where we display the links to the presentations on social media, and we can also get data on the number of views, which helps us measure our ability to influence.

Nachteile

There are no negatives related to LearnWorlds. Its efficiency is unmatched, I consider it the best I have experienced in this field.

Vorteile

LW has everything set up in one platform, so someone who is not familiar with technology can easily set up their own school. The templates look beautiful and professional, and are easy to use. Customer support is stellar, and I've always had experts help me at any time I have needed them. Everything I worried about has been taken care of by LW, including the legal issues, data protection, etc., and everything I could have imagined has already been carefully thought-out by the developers, including external pages, etc. I researched learning platforms for about two years and was about to go with Thinkific, but Learnworlds seem to offer the most features for comparable basic-tier prices. From every angle, Learnworlds came out on top for me, and continues to do so. As a Greek-Cypriot, I'm also proud to support this innovative company coming out of Greece :-)

Nachteile

The amount of information and work involved for a novice (like myself) in setting up a school on LearnWorlds can be overwhelming, but I'd rather have too much information than too little. At times, it was not clear what features I was getting on the Starter plan (for example, I thought that I could offer Group sessions via Learnworlds without having to take out another subscription to a third-party, Calendly). Also, even though the fees for Starter plan are reasonable compared to other learning platforms, I think subscription plans should be offered in Startup because it is hard to sell online courses in such a bloated market, and having subscription plans can help small startups like myself to offer customers more attractive options. It is also difficult to offer free eBooks because although they are easy to create in LW, it is hard to get them to potential customers outside of LW.

The most notable feature of LearnWorlds has been the quick and effective customer support. Not being an experienced web or LMS designer I have been able to create an external website, payment portal, and online courses which offer graduate credit. The tools are relatively simple to use (of course there is a learning curve with any new tech product) and very effective. The support articles and videos are comprehensive and invaluable. On the occasion when I do get stuck a quick email elicits and effective response quickly. So, while I love the tech, the personal support is what make me feel like I am not alone.

Nachteile

As I noted there is a learning curve to get started. But, they have templates (and even AI) to help with almost everything.

I think when it comes to logging in it can make it more clear on the home page as the learner. Cause if I’m enrolled in multiple courses then it shows me the percentage done. I think the home page can be less cluttery.

The platform is user-friendly and there is so much capability! I developed the website for our school and although it was my first time, it turned out really fantastic. One of the best things I've seen about LearnWorlds is the excellent Help Desk they have. There is a resource center that has hundreds of useful articles that are very well put together, and when I can't find what I need, I just put in a ticket and get an answer by email usually within a day. I have found that their help desk people put thought into their responses and offer appropriate suggestions and link relevant articles. Very useful.

Nachteile

Some capabilities that I wanted simply weren't there yet. I can't remember them at the moment, but I put tickets in for them and the help desk said they would forward my feedback on to their development team.
At first, the website development interface was not as intuitive as I would hope for (like resizing things, and repositioning them), but after a while doing it, I got used to it. Some things are just easier for me to make in Canva then upload as a Jpeg, which isn't ideal.

I could customize differents kinds of courses and subscriptions, and it allowed me to create a subscription academy where I could charge for courses also individually, have private courses, 1:1 sessions, etc.
The tools make it very easy to publish content (special mention to eBooks! they may include lots of components visually perfect!).

Lots of things, I love the tool itself, I love what it can do even in its most basic form. I like how many options I have (video, text, quizzes)

I think the support team has been what has impressed me the most. I don't think i've ever worked with a tool that has offered such exceptional support.

Nachteile

1. My company won't let me upgrade which is annoying

2. Not really "like least" more like things I'd like to have:
I want to be able to see all the users interactions in one place and have the ability to grade or leave feedback.

If I want to see a users interactions (how long they spent, where they are in the course) I have to check the individual's course page.
If I want to grade their exam, I have to go to Courses > Review Center
If I want to see their answers to a self-assessment I have to go into the course and view "responses" from there
If I want to see their answers to forms, I either stay in the course and view responses, or I go to Course Forms.

I think I'd prefer to either have 1 place where I can view a users interactions and grade them from there, or ideally 2 places, the individual's record and an "examiners" workshop or something where I can view all responses/interactions from everyone.

I'd also like an alert to know when a user has completed an activity, not just logged in and/or completed, but a self-assessment, form or exam.

The platform is fantastic. It is easy to design and publish any course. My customers found it very intuitive and helpful. Our business has developed great opportunities since we used learnworld as a platform.

I think building social/learning communities in the platform is not so efficient. Or, at least we do not know how to make more appealing our platform to engaging customers to build a real learning community.

I love the easy use of LearnWorlds. I have no experience in UX design, and I feel like the platform equips me with the necessary tools to design the courses and pages in a way that works for my branding.

Sometimes I wish I could customize sections even further (i.e., have a different palette of "school colors" for different courses, so "course colors" would allow for more customization). But I understand that we are not designing our own website, so I am still grateful for the large amount of customization that the platform does allow.

Learnworlds has an amazing support team! They're super responsive, helpful, and know their stuff. Anytime I have a question or run into an issue, they’re quick to respond and make things easy to sort out. They do not only respond in a written form, but also do screen recordings!

Some features are still missing (at least for our case). It can be a bit frustrating when you need a specific feature and realize it’s missing or not fully built out. But I am pretty sure a diligent team already has many improvements planned.

We had been using a competitor LMS for some time and when we started the basic features such as video management, text docs etc. were fairly comparable. So the most appealing features initially was the ability to adapt the platform to our 'look', the community pages and the inbox features. I also grew to appreciate the Vimeo integration and now the improvements in the above and also the mass email function and wide range of tools and features are pretty compelling.

We found the sales functions not suitable for our offers so couldn't use that and therefore lost other functions such as affiliate programs.

The platform is very user-friendly, and the connection is stable. Their Tech Support team responds quickly and fixes any issues. I am satisfied and will be using LearnWorlds for a long time.

Nachteile

Just minor issues with the subtitle. Sometimes, you need to refresh your browser, and it will appear.

I also wish there were automation tools to help me upload the subtitle files, as right now, I have to manually add all 57 files for each video, one by one.

Other than that, I wish the "Expert Profiles" were automatically updated in one place. I have to manually update the same expert profiles on a few course detail pages as they are not updated automatically.

All market standard features are available. Many templates and non-technical frontend, but also customizable to suit own demands. Support is really responsive and technically experienced. Platform performance is great. Easy to scale up business. New features are being released and become available to your school on a regular basis.

Actually we always found a solution to our requirements, especially due to a dedicated success manager acting as a sparring partner when investigating new ideas.

What Special Education Training likes most about Learn World is the ease of use, data analysis, constant training events, interactive videos, ability to use my domain, and integration with other apps, LW improved the learning management system at the onset of the pandemic to meet customer needs, new way to communicate through emails, and the Learn Worlds Help Center is an awesome resource!!!

LearnWorlds is a solid platform for creating and selling online courses. It offers a good range of features for structuring content, adding downloadable files, and customising pages. The interface is relatively easy to navigate, and I appreciate the ability to integrate different tools. The support team is responsive and helpful, which is always a plus when running an online business.

Nachteile

Many things I wanted to do were simply not possible within LearnWorlds' built-in settings. I often had to find workarounds, which doubled my time and effort for even basic customisations. While I appreciate the help I received from support, I hope my feedback will be taken into account so that these limitations can be improved in the future. More flexibility and customisation options would make LearnWorlds a much stronger platform.

The website design and SEO on LearnWorlds is great. My website ranks very high on Google, and I was able to customize so many different aspects, which is incredibly important when making an e-learning course. Their customer service is amazing and very helpful.

Their web design and course creation can be a little daunting at the beginning making it not super beginner friendly, but still worth it in the long run.

The community setup is odd. Having the newest reply to a comment at the top is not a user experience that I am used to, nor one which our users enjoy.
