Connecteam review
Overall, I found Connecteam to be very useful in our work environment. Its easy to chat with all the employees in group chats, or reach out to one individually. And again, I really like how the schedule is set up. Its really easy to use and read.
Vorteile
I like the efficiency of being able to contact all the employees in one place, and have multiple group chats. I also love the way the schedule is, its so easy to read and schedule employees to work.
Nachteile
The phone app part can be a little tricker to navigate. Learning the app takes a little longer than I think it could be on the app.

Excellent scheduling palatform
Much better system than what we were using to schedule people. Changed our operations for the better!

Easy for our crew to see their schedules in the app, easy for multiple admin users to change or add shifts.
Nachteile
A small number of features in upgraded tiers that would be nice to have, but several features also in those tiers that we wouldn't need to utilize, so on the fence if it's worth the extra money but not use everything we're paying for.

Connecteams helps run our business
Overall it is positive. We utilize many functions on the system and any time I have needed assistance, everyone has been extremely helpful. The amount of functions is also great and they are adding more all the time.
Vorteile
We use the scheduling, time clock, and chat features extensively in our business. I like the fact I can use my phone to make admin changes so I can do so when I am not in the office to fix issues.
Nachteile
Notifications are not consistent and so I will miss messages as they don't make the notification noise or show a symbol for a new message. I also hate the fact that sometimes the words you are typing are very delayed in the chat features. It does not seem to be related to my internet speed so maybe it is just heavy use of the system? It is one of my biggest pet peeves as I am a fast typer and do not like delays.

Amazing! Buy this for your team now!
Very impressed after trying serval other options and working with other similar software Connecteam really is super impressive. It's easy for those that aren't tech savvy to catch on as well which is great!
Vorteile
I like that they are always innovating and improving upon the features. It feels like an app that is created with the user in mind. Too many apps are built to check boxes of functionality but are not a smooth user experience. Connecteam excels at creating with the user experience in mind.
Nachteile
I wish they had a few more options for smaller businesses when it comes to the different additional purchase options. Being able to just add on individual thing vs upgrading to a much larger system would be great.

Great functionality and helpful customer service team!
We were looking for an alternative to another HR software that had less functions; we wanted checklists, forms, document storage, and scheduling all in the same place. Connectteam does it all, and everything can be set up and edited exactly how you want it. If there are any features that aren't working, or things that you feel are missing the customer support team is genuinely really helpful and has always dealt with any issues I've run into. Couldn't recommend it enough to be honest!

Great functionality, responsive and super helpful customer service team, and it had every feature we could need or think of!
Nachteile
The pricing structure is confusing and feels overpriced if you need full functionality in every category.

100% worth the investment
I feel like it has evolved over the padr year
I love the ongoing upgrades and the support that comes with it. I have attwnded somw of the webinars when new features come out. It has been a game changer and a vital part of my business

Connect team has been a crucial part of our orginaization. It keeps the team unified in allowingnusnto connect with one another to share everything. Whether we are wishing someone a happy birthday or sharing a raving client review, the impact of Connect has bridged the gap between our staff. The organizational aspect for management has been improved greatly with assigned tasks and private groups. This is exactly what we needed and I contribute our success in the buiness to the communication we have achieved with this platform!
Nachteile
I wish the additional cost to some of thr added features could be chared a la cart. The pricing runs in tiers, however I wish you could specifically pay for a particular feature. Ie delayed scheudled messages. I have my best ideas in the middle of the night and I would love to share with my staff . However, i dont feel the need to upgrade to the next tier as I dont need all the other bells and whistles.

Great business platform
Connecteam is a great addition to our business and day to day operations. There are many features we have chosen not to utilize but I can see if being a great asset for other businesses. We mainly use the platform for communication, scheduling and reporting.
Vorteile
I love how customizable this platform is. You can really mold it to your business. I love that even the app can load your company logo to really feel like it's built for your business.
Nachteile
a lot of what I disliked about Connecteam has been fixed in updates through the years of using the platform. There isn't much I can say I don't like.

Satisfied Customer
Overall our experience with Connecteam has been outstanding. There are lots of tutorials and customer service help at the touch of a button. I haven't had to use that very often because the program is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It helps us track our employees' time and vacations as well as gives everyone ample room for comments and notes so we stay informed of any daily work changes, issues and notifications. I am able to edit the status on forms so I can keep track of the ones I have already reviewed. Overall, Connecteam has been a time saver and keeps us organized.
Vorteile
I like the wide variety of uses this program offers. It allows us to easily communicate with our employees, share scheduled services, edit payroll time sheets and helps tremendously with our billing by allowing our employees to fill out and submit their own forms like service reports and reimbursement expenses.
Nachteile
If I had to improve something, it would be the ability to add "Jobs" in more places than just the Job scheduler. I sometimes need to add a new job to the time sheets because we are constantly doing business with new customers in the service industry and it would be easier to be able to stay in the time clock to just add a job. Also, it would be nice to combine two of the same jobs that were added by different administrators but spelled differently by accident (similar the the Quickbooks function that allows you to merge customers/jobs).
Occasionally, if a job is added in the job scheduler, it is not automatically added to the time clock function so the employees can see it on the schedule but not clock in to that job. We have to go into the edit job window and manually check the time clock box. That seems a little too tedious.

Simplifies work flow and simple to use.
Connecteam is a great platform for our company. We operate multiple venues and things like being able to see who is clocked in is vital for us. Connecteam is easy to use, and provides multiple uses for our company, simplifying our workflow. It makes my job easier, as there is less bouncing around to different software.

Ease of use and versatility. Continued improvement. Ability to use on phone and computer. Being able to do so many different things including schedule, time clocks, training, completing forms and more in one place simplifies my work life.

Would like to be able to link easily to a Gusto account that has multiple companies to be able to import timesheets easily

Loving the connectivity this provides our staff!
Honestly, the best part has been being able to get help from staff, even if the question seems silly. We've had a great time with the app, even if only 2/3 of the staff use it regularly. We love the user friendly concept as we have staff who are technology challenged who have been able to navigate the app.

We love the ability to keep our staff connected to each other and to be able to share important company and community updates in a place where all can see it- as we have work from home and in person staff.
Nachteile
We wish were able to make the plan a little more customizable to what we need. We have some features we don't use and some we would love to add but it isn't enough to justify the upgrade to the next level.

Time Management Mastered!
Between the webinars, helpful emails and insights, the usability of the program and the professional support team, it's been a worthy annual investment we make for our team.
Vorteile
We appreciate the functions of the service, particularly for project management and the search functions and filtering through the program. We've been able to track data over this last year we never would've dreamed of effectively capturing before. It has allowed us to systemize our time tracking so effectively and the data has taught us so much about changes we intend to make in the coming year.
Nachteile
Theres price point adjustments for everything, as a business spending over a thousand dollars a year, these minute limitations that jump up each service type to a separate level for one feature is challenging to nagivate, and more expensive than we'd like.

Excellent! We can't believe how we managed before.

The variety it provides. We are able to use it as a full HR software, payroll assistance, and communication tool for providing site staff access to documents and forms all available on their mobile phones.

Sometimes archived staff appear on the time clock, but this is very rare and usually rectifies itself by the next day.

Review experience
I have really enjoyed it so far, and have been happy with our choice as we had many products to choose from with a diversified group, and certainly price was always a consideration with so many user at the start of a new platform with a new system and designing has been interesting and challenging at the same time.
Vorteile
So far I’ve enjoyed the chat feature and able to use the mobile app for administrative and teaching as well as the kiosk mode for testing other users issues
Nachteile
The job scheduling and setup has been cumbersome with our unique business model and found a few technical issues with parent and sub jobs that I have diagnosed for CT and referee issues to Lior and then had them fixed from the developers group (ie never had anyone suggest that when importing jobs that the subjobs were not coming automatically checked with the parent job details to take the same attributes as the parent hence had to get design involved and update issues because of unacceptable behavior for those issues. Had to provide video of experience so they could understand the issue and help with testing, but ultimately it was as fixed, with one more template issue still under consideration of the developers team (jobs do not allow template import correctly with users and NO group can be attached to jobs but it combines the users and groups into one during import process and have to ultimately turn off each and every job (and sometimes the subjobs) while importing, and that prices can be lengthy, especially when importing hundred of jobs with 8 subjobs each.

Users were needed for each person, cost is certainly a need to keep at minimum, still needing to upgrade some hubs so hopefully this will be a good science and not out cost others. Very positive overall experience. We've been using Connecteam for years as a timeclock, information database, and communication.

Great program
Having used it for a few years now after working in many other customer systems this one has proven to be the best overall in my humble opinion.
Vorteile
The ease in which you are able to input all relevant information and send to the employees either individually or in a group has made the operational process so much easier.

There are occasions where tweaks are made without prior knowledge and some are not relevant to our business however this is a minor annoyance.

What didn't work for me, might work for you.
The app platform is user friendly, very easy to figure out even with no training. When I discovered there was no way to GPS track my very wide and spread out sales team, I switched to another service. Printing time sheets was a little glitchy but while annoying it was manageable.
Vorteile
For field canvass management PROS - this app does work great ONLY IF you have immediate supervision over your field team. You can communicate via messaging and do the basic punching in and out right from this app. You can print time sheets.

FIELD CANVASS MANAGEMENT CONS
-You can NOT GPS track your team, so if you DON'T have supervisors actually out walking with your canvassers you will not know where they are and you'd have to just trust people punching in and out and actually canvassing and doing what they're supposed to be doing.
- I didn't care for the time sheets feature on the desktop, you'd have to log out and refresh any time you select the period (dates) that you want to export, which was a huge pain for me.
-If you have commission ONLY canvassers, this app would be OK, and its very cost effective, you get a lot out of the free version.
Now, if you're like me and have hourly+commission team - you want eyes on them at all times. You can't pay someone hourly without knowing what they're doing - are they at the mall shopping? are they home? Are they working?
The lack of real-time tracking was the main reason I stopped using it. Wasn't a good fit for us, but it may be a good fit for someone else.

Thanks for your feedback! We're a bit confused, though. There IS real-time GPS tracking, and you can see your users' routes when they're on the clock, so if you want to make sure people don't wander around, that's definitely available. As for switching between dates in the timesheets, they DO update automatically in real-time, you don't need to refresh manually, and you definitely don't need to log out.
On top of that, we're adding the ability to clock users out automatically if they leave a certain Geofence, so with that capability, you can rest assured no one's getting paid if they're not in the workplace...

An excellent time keeping and employee management tool.
Our overall experience has been great, we get what we need out of Connecteam.
Vorteile
It is very easy to setup and use and has many features that just work and are easy for employees to use. There's a lot to like about it when you need a simple time keeping solution that just works.
Nachteile
The cost is quite high for only a handful of employees. Also, we are moving to an ERP and it has time keeping and time sheets built in so I'm having a hard time seeing the value Connecteam provides for small businesses that move to an ERP with many of these solutions built-in and there being no connectivity to our ERP.

Connecteam is a very useful program
Our small business has flourished in using connecteam as we’ve grown it has allowed us accomplish many scheduling tasks and employees sick/PTO time. It helps us keep record for the admin and the employees alike.

Wonderful. From the sales team to the onboarding team, they were amazing. They also have the option of getting more training at anytime.

Connecteam allows you to create teams to communicate with in real time. Managers, Supervisors, Employees all can have a unique chat group.

The incentive program. The only option is for prepaid gift cards. We would prefer to design our own program.

Connecteam Improved Our Staff Communication
The support team is super helpful and I get quick responses to questions/requests. I am able to manage everything on my own and very easy to maintain-which I like. The structure is easy to adapt to a variety of work environments, so you can plug and play right away without needing implementation timelines and such. Considering the overall cost, it is very economical compared to the cost of buying a system, the time to implement a software product, and then paying people to manage it.
Vorteile
The interface is very user friendly and intuitive. I like that is easy to use in both the admin and mobile/user views. I enjoy the many features available for communication with staff, setting up shifts, and managing staff work and payroll.
Nachteile
It can be frustrating when you want to use a feature and then find out it is behind a paywall and you need to upgrade to use it. I appreciate that I can manage the cost by deciding what features we use, number of users, etc, but sometimes it feels like features that should be included at a certain level requires another fee in order to access it.

Over all great easy to use system
Over all the system is great. The colours and separation of the groups helps to see what's happening at a quick glance.
At times it can be frustrating to see things change, when you get used to doing something one way and then the system updates it can take some time to get used to the new way.
Vorteile
Setting the shifts up into group view makes it easier to look at a glance. The Green confirmed or accepted dot is so helpful when we are looking to see if the trainers have seen their shifts.
Nachteile
The shifts that get deleted, this can be done by mistake and if they had a back up area where we could retrieve these from that would be helpful.

Great features, but delayed messages
Other than the delay in receiving messages, it's a great app. Thus the 3* rating.

Streamlined coordination and communication
Overall, the switch to Connecteam was a big success for our company. The ease of clock-in/clock-out, communication, data management/viewing, and integration into payroll all tie in to the success of the program for our company. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to streamline their crew coordination.

New user to Connecteam
It`s still new to me, but it`s not so hard to learn, and i get the help i need when i need it. I get to plan far ahed and make`s my employees happy to have a clear schedule about when and where they will work. Love that i dont have to use more then one app to be able to plan and communicate whit my team.

Forever A Connect Supporter
Although I have not had to call customer service for anything I can tell they would help any way they can and have heard excellent things from my team. Personally for the app it just makes my life so much easier and my time clock a breeze. I love how I can see how many hours of vacation I have and I can easily check when I have used them.

The thing I liked most is how versatile the app is. It has made it so easy to track time clock, vacation, office supply list's, and mileage report. I like that it sends me reminder to clock in and out because since I work at home I can often time forget. I also like how it has a feed much like instagram and other social media platforms so I am always informed on whats going on with the stores with important events and when our meetings are.
Nachteile
For my position as an accountant of a small business I really have no cons to say. It has everything I need and its extremely easy to use.

The Simpler Way of Tracking Time
It’s been great. Super easy to get guidance when questions arrive through the immediate support system via chat. Also plenty of classes offered and great communication about new tools etc through email updates.

Simple for employees to find and clock into the appropriate job and easily switch jobs throughout the day. Breadcrumbs help to follow activity. Easily communicate through the chat and get notified when there is an issue regarding someone’s time.
Nachteile
Wish the app could allow you automatically be clocked into a job once in the parameters set but also clock you out when you leave for another job but somehow track the time in between leaving one job and automatically being clocked into the next.

Excellent application, great team and high customer satisfaction
All our team leaders love the 'Job Schedule.' It makes managing and rescheduling the team’s shifts easy and effortless. The time-off function is also a great feature. One of the best things about Connecteam is how easy it is to manage different access levels for admins.

Recommended for rota function
been really good, I'd recommend it to anyone with a team to coordinate!

We use it mostly for the rota facility and it's great, we were working with paper calendars, spreadsheets, taking photos, sending it in the whatsapp group, it was hard to track changes - now the staff can request changes with each other, we can approve it in the app and it's done and everyone can see, really simple

We are a small charity running a cafe, so it's a bit on the expensive side, but it makes life so much better, so it was worth the investment

Connecteam is the best!!
Connecteam has been a great addition to our afterschool program! It is always speedy and we rarely have issues. We use it for many different aspects like uploading resources for site monitoring and allergies, as well as creating forms for scheduling and accidents or discipline reports. We also love that we can easily add people to the schedule repeatedly so that we do not have to manually enter each employee. This gives us perfect access to many of our employee records which allows for less time spent reading through paper files and more time available to find the information we need. Connecteam is a very useful app! We also really love the ability to have admins, owners, and regular employees. This allows us to separate different workflows to the people they need to be available to!

I like the ability to have so many different forms on Connecteam to give access to our employees. There are many different forms we need for childcare and this keeps us organized instead of having to do everything on paper.
Nachteile
I do not like that we cannot remove the feature for clocking in and out. We do not use this feature because we have to use a different platform for our school system. The ability to make this optional would be helpful!

WE have been users for over two years and the product is reliable and works very well for our staff to do scheduling, communication and time keeping.

Good and not to pricey alternative to WhatsApp, may not have been my first choice again
It is a good alternative to WhatsApp, especially given the GDPR data protection laws around contacting employees within working and non-working hours. You can customize the look by adding you company logo, you can divide users into intuitive groups (e.g. by shop location) and assign managers etc. Some features need to be worked on, like glitching of the app on mobile device, especially the issue with chat not loading (but the main feed loading well).

Overall, the experience has been a positive one. I've learned how to create reports the way that make the most sense for me, which I love.

For the most part, it is user friendly. I can run reports the way I want to see them.
Nachteile
What I dislike the most about Connecteam is that I have to click the last name column to sort it by last name. In our business, we refer to our officers using their last name. This is annoying to have to click this every time I go into anything. I've discussed this on chat with the support team and they have told me there are no future plans to fix this.

IT is happy
Overall it has been very enjoyable. The features are good, the insights into the usage are good and thorough.
Vorteile
All in one answer to our issues. We had payroll, timeclock/sheets, and messaging all on 3 different apps, and now they are on ONE site/app with ONE login for everyone to use. As an IT manager, you have no idea how much this helps with passwords.
Nachteile
Personally, I haven't come across any. If I had to say one, I would say it seems to lag a bit if there are LOTS of users in a group chat (30+) when sending messages.

Amazing Tool For Your Business
Glad we switched to Connecteam. We had a moment of hesitation because we were switching from other apps that we had utilized, but omg.....was it worth it. Everyone was using the tools within days. Super easy UI.
Vorteile
This app is absolutely amazing! We are a roofing company located in Ontario, Canada and we use Connecteam for all of our communication needs, safety forms, and time clocking. We do cross check the time data against GPS tracking units we have on our fleet, but this is much more cost effective than using typical time tracking options out there (don't want to name them, but we've used them and they're quite expensive). Also, the UI is as good as it gets!!
Nachteile
There's not a whole lot to complain about. We've used at least a dozen various apps and software and this app is just wonderful.

Love the Functionality

Happy Connecteam Customer
We've had a great experience with Connecteam. They're customer support is solid and the price is fair compared to the value their product provides. We are a big fan and highly recommend this app!
Vorteile
Connecteam is primarily a communication tool for our company and it has helped us strengthen our relationships with employees which is a huge benefit. Employees know where to turn and how to get help through connecteam. We have also gotten much more organized with scheduling. Connecteam has truly fulfilled the meaning of its name for our company.
Nachteile
I least like the scheduling view for multiple locations. Employees can not see all of their shifts in one central location. They must navigate through different schedules to view their shifts. It leaves room for error/employee confusion. We've had instances where employees did not realize they were scheduled at a different location. Our employees also have intermittent issues with the GPS and can't clock in. I don't know if that's a connecteam issue or user issue.
