Great product

Really great. Their product is not designed for my use case but it's so customizable that I am able to make it work really well for what I need.

Vorteile

Everything. It's functionality and customization are amazing for managing employees. They are very quick to respond when you need them and they are constantly improving based on their users needs/

The app can take a bit to reload or can be slow to respond between parts.

Connectteam is worth a look if you need better communication!

Overall, I would have to say that Connectteam has help our company be on the same page better.

Vorteile

Connecting my team via the updates and using chat has really helped work more efficiently and smoothly. Started using the timeclock which is not too shabby. The Job Scheduling is decent but complicated.

Nachteile

The layers of complexity of settings within settings and admin rights to this or that is hard to sort out and set. You have to spend many hours watching videos and trying settings to figure out what works for you. So much trial and error. You can really tell different teams developed different parts. Also wish Connectteam would understand that most employees will not/do not have a desktop (and that includes managers), so when you say "the magic happens at the desktop level" that means little to nothing to most of my team. They use the app only.. myself, and a backup admin, use the desktop mostly. Just remember that when constructing features. Overall it is pricey. And they hide that one final perk to a section behind the next upgrade which means more cost.

Great App for Communication

We really enjoy it as a small business. Everything that we need is in this app and its a great way to communicate with everyone and know that everyone is reading what we post. I am really happy that we found this gem!

Vorteile

The ease of use for everyone. Not only admin but for other users as well. As an admin, I am able to switch to user view and see what others see, which is nice we we have features that we don't need everyone to see.

Nachteile

I wish we didn't have to pay extra to use additional features. Like the option to not allow people to go into the app without confirming it.

Connectteam keeping our business together.

Been a positive experience and solved our issue that we had when our previous app was sold to a company that ruined it.

Vorteile

Switched to Connectteam for our company Healthy Spaces after the disaster of when the Crew app got bought out by a company that completely ruined it. Connectteam was a super easy transition and offered almost all of the same aspects that the former Crew app offered. Many in the company actually preferred Connectteam to what they were already used to. Definitely has helped us stay in contact with each department and all the crews out in the field. Definitely recommend for anyone that is trying to find a app to link everyone in a company!

Nachteile

Our old app allowed us to send Gold stars out to employees (which you would get a set amount a month to give away, to get more you could purchase them )and kept track of them weekly, monthly, and yearly so it became a competition with employees tp receive the most.

Could have been a great tool

Irritating and disappointing. I was looking for a one-stop solution for our PTO management, as well as onboarding of new employes. When initially signing up I was told that I was going to be able to create detailed re-usable task lists, something I planned to use to onboard new employees. Turns out what I wanted to be able to do is not actually possible on this platform. I'm temporarily stuck here as I look for something else.

Has a nice app and a nice interface for desktop use.

Nachteile

Constantly, daily, trying to do things only to have a pop up tell me how much more money I'd have to pay in order to unlock that functionality. There is far too much locked out... such as the ability to copy something, or the ability to turn off sending something to the entire organization. It is a constant irritation to be trying to make something work only to have these demands for more money thrown in your face over and over again.

Biggest bang for your buck!

Very good so far. We’ve been using Connecteam for about a year now and I’m very happy with the investment. We use many of the tools from the scheduler and timesheets (which export directly into Gusto) to celebration’s and rewards. That platform makes our organization more professional.

Vorteile

The amount of different tasks I can accomplish on one platform.

Sometimes it takes a little time to get support when I’m stuck.

Quality Product, that operates with ease

So far, it has been great. If there have been any questions, support has been there. Ease of use has been great. I have told others about the product, as I feel it's a much superior product than what we previously used.

Vorteile

The ability to check hours for a week on the app or desktop. When putting in the schedule, showing running total as well. I also like the ease of editing shifts when needed.

Nachteile

I wish I didn't have to pay extra to have template schedules. If it were to be included, I could add so much overall value to the product. It's like a hidden fee to actually help to do what it's supposed to do.

Scheduling with Ease

I really enjoy using the app and website both. They have made my job so much easier. It is so easy to use and saves so much time from the manual way I was doing things prior to finding Connecteam.

Vorteile

It allows me to easily see who's working and who I have available for work. It allows me to easily communicate with staff members either individually or as a group.

Nachteile

I have a hard time figuring out how to create forms for what I need. I also am not sure how to go back and see who claimed a shift once it has been assigned.

Connecteam gets a B Plus

Overall, my experience has been very good. Connecteam is a useful tool that is integral to our business. We utilize many of the functions of the platform.

Vorteile

The scheduling function is great. It is the core of our employee and contractor scheduling. We also heavily utilize the group chat function, which is helpful for multiple teams. We just started using the training app and have found it helpful to streamline our previous paper-based training program.

Nachteile

The payroll integration was the worst experience we've had with Connecteam. We have W2 employees and 1099 contractors. We pay them on different schedules and treat them differently overall. Connecteam does not differentiate by employment type. When we integrated the Connecteam timeclock to Gusto, it was a disaster. Tracking, approving, and paying hours became double the work. So we discontinued using Connecteam for time tracking, even though the Time Clock function is better than Gusto. My other big issue: Using Forms can be cumbersome, and I wish they could be more customizable.

Will I return to connect team? My employees hope I do.

I left connect team because I was hoping to grow and wanted as much as possible to be automated all within one program. I understand there are integrations and connections and that is a large project for me to hope all connects and works well.

Vorteile

I absolutely love the ease of viewing the schedule, creating the jobs and sub jobs, at the time clock is a breeze. Also Mobile app version is my employee's favorite out of all the other stupid cleaning software options out there. Amazing that it is free under 10 users. Love connectteam!

Nachteile

Invoicing! Connecting the time clock on the job to the invoice for the client would be a feature I would be dropping everything to return.

Excellent. Tremendous support. Forward thinking by constantly developing new features.

Connecteam is an outstanding product. We have been using it since 2019 with about 100 employees. We mainly use it for Time Clock/Time Off, checklists and forms, communicating mass information. Our employees find it's interface appealing and very easy to use. It has converted many manual processes to automatic, which has saved tremendous time and helped us standardize and steamline some of our core processes.

Nachteile

The API integration is needed for our payroll provider, but it is cost prohibitive at this time.

Love this for our small business

very good - we like that it has been able to grow with us (Starting with ~30 employees - now to ~50).

Vorteile

Very user friendly + accessible for whole team. Like that we connect our whole team in messages and everyone has access to contacts. It really helps when we work in new locations (as caterers) to ensure everyone is in correct area.

Nachteile

I do wish that there was an option on the lower level tiers ( I think we use mid level) that there were more "time off" options. we currently only have access to paid sick or non-paid vacation. Maybe could create smaller add on options instead of having to fully upgrade to next tier

Simply the best

Just superb.
I have been using and implementing Connecteam for a decade, in organizations as small as 8 employees, and as large as 400 in Hospitality - and cant recommend them enough!

Connecteam product is top notch, very intuitive.
Tech support is first class
And the continous product improvments are inspiring.

New pricing is a bit tricky, and could be more forgiving. However, the free option is good at small scale

The app that always gets better

Very positive! Our business uses Connectteam for almost everything now. I like that you can vote for new features so that the app always keeps getting better.

I like that the features are set up for you to activate but you can customise these how you wish to make it work for your business. They're always adding new features and improving the current ones so it always is getting better.

Nachteile

Sometimes we have problems on the app and they are quite hard to resolve when the people in the chat don't understand the issue that you explain but they always get fixed eventually.

School Internships- Great!

It's been great for our school internships. Students clock in and out, and we can see where they were when they did that. I've been looking for a system this easy to use for a long time!

The only frustrating thing was that I couldn't run reports on the website unless I paid for a different tier, when I used to be able to run those reports on the current tier. We are on a school budget, so I couldn't change tiers for that one feature.

Easy to Navigate

I love how easy it is to navigate, and the ability to add notes and things to any shift.

Learning as I go!

The more I use it, the more I have learned. I was just shown how Connecteam works and became the administrator of it. However, because I was not party to how ours was set-up initially, I lack some foundational knowledge and background to its inner workings that I want to find and learn.

Vorteile

It may sound like a Con, but I like that if something is not right withing out Connecteam with a feature or timeclock, you can see it almost immediately. Example: Conflicts.

Nachteile

I have had a couple of experiences where I am trying to trouble shoot an problem with the assistance of the help feature in multiple back and forth questions/statements. For the most part I am able to figure things out, but I have found a few times, that the help feature either loops back and makes the same suggestion repeatedly or goes off in a completely different direction just because of a choice of word(s) that I have put into my questions/statements.

Easy-ish to use, Love the Team Features and Chat, Favorite is the Learning Center!

Chat feature with Connecteam help is great and response time is good.

Vorteile

I like how easy it is to view the schedule by teams! I love posting things on the News Feed and I love the group chat options.
The Library and Courses are amazing, super easy to set up, and for employees to use. They are probably my favorite part.

Nachteile

You need an "undo" button for the schedule builder!
The time clock likes to freeze up making our times wrong and need to be fixed, and it sometimes "forgets" that we have clocked in/out, and we don't know until we go to clock in/out again.

ConnecTeam - Meeting and Exceeding our needs

Overall very happy with the features and how we have been able to streamline operations and communication.

Everything in one place. Super easy for our team to use and we have all of video SOPs on as well. Makes training and onboarding a breeze and event communication easy.

Nachteile

No seamless integration for different payroll types with Gusto. May be more of a GUSTO issue though...

Great Product - Simple for Staff to use

It has been good. Setup was a breeze. Most things are intuitive and easy to use - all our staff find it easy to use as well.

Vorteile

It is simple for our staff to use and makes doing payroll each fortnight so much faster. Everything staff needs is in one place - they just need a phone!

Nachteile

Not being able to have two sections - chat and schedule open at the same time in different windows.

Still great with minor tweaks

Overall still love the product and find it easy to navigate and adjust.

Vorteile

How easy it is to use across various platforms. The program is identical whether you are working on an Iphone, android or laptop. This makes it super easy to help new team members navigate the program.

Nachteile

The mobile version does not have the best admin view for working in the field and monitoring teams. Additionally if we need to change the payroll calendar it affects all past timecards, it would be amazing if we had the option to only change the payroll calendar moving forward and not affect already processed timesheets

Connecteam works great, even used incorrectly!

My construction company uses connecteam in a way that it wasn't originally intended to schedule, track job costs...and for something that wasn't planned to be used in this function, it works remarkably well. As bookkeeper I appreciate that it connects to QBO and the interface is easy to understand, use and teach my guys.

Vorteile

I like how available the company is when there are questions! I love how easy it is to track time, movement and job. The scheduling function is AWESOME - this alone makes it my favorite time tracker for our business.

Nachteile

Search functions by job are still not ideal for our use. I'd like to be able to enter a date range, an employee name, and then find a complete list of individual clock ins without having to download to Excel. But, again, as an app not designed exclusively for contractors, it works great!

Saved me hours of Admin work

Connect Team has saved me hours in work and make my booking process easier for clients. Our team has a stream line system for pulling stock, deliveries and late night pick ups all thanks for the multi options on Connect team.

Vorteile

I love how the inventory is intergraded with our Website. Clients can visit the website and create their own custom quote, saving me hours of admin time!

Nachteile

No enough customizable options. Ever rental company is a bit different in what they carry. I would love to have a drop down category for holidays and seasons. We carry a large assortment of Christmas decor and there isn't a great option for that.

All inclusive team communication

Everything has been great. Connectteam is constantly updating features and soliciting feedback from users to make the product better

I like that it's all inclusive. Chat, updates, scheduling.... Everything is all in one place which is perfect for our company that all works independently of each other.

Nachteile

Some of the features that we would like to see simply aren't universal so they aren't available to us. Meaning that a feature that would be helpful for our unique business isn't mainstream enough to make it useful for Connectteam as a whole

Connecteam saves you hours or work

It has been a blessing discovering Connecteam. We looked at other Apps but Connecteam ticked all the boxes. It helps us run our business smoothly all in one place.

Vorteile

We use Connecteam for our scheduling. We are a cleaning company and CT works really well to keep on top of bookings, invoicing and letting our Team members know when they are working. It has saved us hours of work as we use to do it all manually with spreadsheets!

Nachteile

I can't fault it in any way. It is so easy to use and the Customer Service is excellent.

Amazing Scheduling System

My overall experience with Connecteam has been very good. I like how it offers updated videos and helpful tips. I love that you can just transfer the schedule weekly. I like how easy it is to approve requested time off. Overall it's been great!

Vorteile

I like tha you can duplicate times and you can copy over from the previous week. It makes it easier to set the schedule without spending too much valueable work time.

Nachteile

To be honest, Connecteam makes it very user friendly that I don't actually dislike anything from the program itself.

Pharmacy Usage

Overall, we have had a great experience and we have saves a lot of time with scheduling, payroll and tracking PTO hours since using Connecteam

Vorteile

Being able to use Connecteam with our multiple location and have staff shared between the locations makes it difficult to us other products.

Nachteile

As we began using the service, we realized we would use more than we initially thought and had to upgrade. Adding every little thing costs more money, which I completely understand as it is a business, like everyone using the service. It seemed like some basic things were missing from the lower packages.

We love Connecteam

Connecteam is very user friendly and easy to set up with what we need to run our company more efficiently. It accommodates most of our needs for communication, reporting, etc.

Vorteile

Connecteam has become our companies go to for communications with all workers, not just workers with no desks/offices.

Nachteile

Right now, pricing is my biggest concern. It has become very expensive for our company.

100% Satisfied! Looking forward to using for new clients!

My overall experience has been great. Even with mishaps! The customer service always gets to a remedy.

Vorteile

I have installed this time clock software now for two clients and I have a request to set it up for 2 more clients. It works well for companies with field employees. It integrates with Quickbooks making payroll easier. And the customer service is always on point! I've used Connecteam as a part of my proposals for new contracts and proposals. Their clients like to hear about the GPS, onboarding and training.

Nachteile

What I like least is that the packages that are set up are missing things that should be included in the monthly prices. And also, the app does not alert us when employees leave the site before their shift ends. I hope to see this added soon, as well as other suggestions. I also would like a phone number to reach out to verses just chat.

Excellent, their commitment to always developing and constant updates. They're excellent customer service. The usability and admin oversight is good too. And you can never break anything so you are free to make it work for you

Great app for delegating Jobs and Tasks!

Great! Easy to learn and use. Has made our workload much less!

Vorteile

Very well thought out system for schedules, team chat, and distribution of tasks. Very well detailed timesheets and reminders.

Nachteile

Some bugs here and there around the app depending on employee smart phones. Location isn't always 100% accurate. If overtime is grouped into different brackets, timesheets should separate overtime by bracket. Example is time and a half vs double time. Currently both are grouped into Overtime but should be separate. ADP integration doesn't exist like claimed.

Connecteam 2025 Review

Absolutely 10/10 experience so far. Sometimes the'res a random bug that keeps the time allocation stuck on my screen which is frustrating - or that the job does not actually move across which can be annoying.

Vorteile

Absolutely love connecteam scheduler, job chats, timesheets, ability to easily create your own forms, sections etc. Really fabulous stuff. Highly recommended.

Nachteile

The thing I least like is the automation abilities. There isn't too much compatibility with Make.com

World class product with a TERRIBLE pricing structure

Overall I am a huge promoter and would recommend to anyone looking to build a team. I love it because it keeps my remote sales team connected and informed. But the biggest issue I have is the pricing structures. So confusing and messy. Also very frustrating to have little features that only require a flip of a switch on your end to work but I have to pay twice what I am now, very annoying and eventually could lead to me looking at competitor softwares.

Vorteile

The amount of features and tools all wrapped up in one place. It’s incredibly useful and robust. I feel very empowered to run my team.

Nachteile

The nickel and dime-ing for certain features is a bit ridiculous in my opinion and incredibly frustrating. Almost insulting. To have to pay for little features here and there is really annoying. I really wish they would fix the pricing structure. Not a fan AT ALL

Feedback on Ways to Improve Functionality and Efficiency

Overall it is a user friendly platform! It would also be nice to be able to view the posted schedule while viewing employee time sheets, otherwise you have to have two separate windows open of Connecteam at the same time shrunken down to properly assess people’s time sheets, and with the clunky scroll function in Scheduler it is quite bothersome and too time consuming. Thank you!

Vorteile

It is fairly easy to navigate and learn on the fly! The chat function is very helpful as well.

Nachteile

The scroll function in the Job Scheduler is obnoxious, as it is cumbersome and glitchy all the time making it slow to use. There should also be a way to add Unavailability in Job Scheduler when there is already a scheduled time off request, without having to go into the Time Off tab separately. You need to add the same functions in a day/cell as when there isn’t a current approved request off, just like you can still add a shift we need to be able to add unavailability.

Very happy customer

Great App!

In overall, I am enjoying using this app. So far it seems it is a great fit for our timekeeping needs.

Vorteile

I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate through the platform and setting up users and jobs.

Nachteile

We are still learning some of its features so there may be something I need but I have not discovered yet. I would say, reporting. From an employee/user point of view I can easily pull reports but from the job point of view it seems a bit challenging to compile them in a single report. Not sure if there is a way to do this.

The way to go

They are super easy to deal with if you do have any issues the live chat is quick and helpful

Nachteile

I wish it was a live update on the schedule. If there are more than one person booking things in you always need to refresh.
